Is it possible to use fonts that have been made for you conlang on Gaia and other forums? (So I could put the romanized Niora, then the actual scripted Niora, then the English translation all next to each other in my lessons thread?) And if so, how would I go about doing that?

Nope. You can't do that on Gaia. sad
You MIGHT be able to on some other forum, but you're usually limited to a selection of 5 or so preset fonts (usually Times New Roman, Arial, Verdana, Courier New, etc.). Even then, it's usually a board-wide setting for you to view text in, meaning only you would see it in that font, no one else.
The only way to do it is to type out your text in the Niora (or whichever) font in Word or Notepad or something, then screenshot it, crop it down to size, then upload to Photobucket or your photo server of choice. It's a little more tedious than directly typing, but it's the only way on Gaia. Of course, even if you COULD use a custom font on Gaia, everyone would have to download the font in order to see it.
Oh god, I just thought of how awful Gaia (read: GD or Chatterbox) would look if everyone could post in any font of their choice... Eye sore~

Although if everyone here had the font, it would work. At least, I know you can use html to change font, I don't know if it works for the forums. I've had problems trying to use html on this site.
Can you see this font?
EDIT: see what I mean? HTML is disabled. It took me a long time to stop typing and start typing [ /i].

No HTML. They do that for a reason, I'm sure. There might be a security reason behind it, but I dunno. It's BBC code that they allow here. I guess this is how it would work if BBC code allowed for font changing here. The closest thing to a font change I know of doing on Gaia is using the "Code" code. Like this. This font is Courier New. It's a monospaced slab-serif font.

·:Why are you all telling her she can't do this at all?
If you want people to see your conscript, no, you can't post it here as actual characters but you CAN do what they do on all professional sites that use scripts that most computers can't read. Just open up MS paint or any other program and use the font tool to type it out.
Save the image, upload it to Photobucket and post it along with the romanization and translation.
Simple.

Simple. Please read all posts before saying "you all" because I myself already posted a similar solution: Xeigrich The only way to do it is to type out your text in the Niora (or whichever) font in Word or Notepad or something, then screenshot it, crop it down to size, then upload to Photobucket or your photo server of choice. It's a little more tedious than directly typing, but it's the only way on Gaia This is the way I do it, because it's easier to go back and change the text later. If you use MSPaint, you have to retype everything in order to make any significant changes. Also, MSPaint is pretty sucky for typing. Anyway, the whole point was that she wanted to know if there was a way to use the custom fonts on Gaia, and of course the answer is effectively and decisively NO. These are just workaround solutions.

I'm too busy yet I keep coming back to Gaia only to type something out really, really fast and realize later how dumb it was. Good thing my internet will be turned off in 4 days.
