Mutancy: Psychic abilities, can project images into other's minds, making them believe what they are seeing so vividly that their body reacts psychosomatically. If she projects that they have a cut on their hand, their hand will actually start bleeding.

Basic Bio: Ariel discovered she was a mutant when she was 11 years old. She had been trying to describe the way her lunch tasted to her best friend, when her friend started tasting everything she said. That night, she went home and told her parents. They were overly distressed over the news, so much so that her mother went into hysterics. Scared and angry, Ariel accidentally created a whirlpool in their minds, killing both of them. She has lived at MSHAM ever since. She is scared of snakes and being restrained, because a frequent punishment for her there is to tie her up down in the basement, in the dark, with several poisonous snakes slithering over her. After being in the home for 5 years, Ariel has become beaten down. Her will and self-confidence are almost shattered, though not completely. She has managed to help some of the younger mutants escape, the ones who have not been there long, and have not been scarred by their experiences there. She does not trust humans whatsoever, she hates them, infact. All it would take would be the right word, and she'd join a human killing group at the drop of a hat. But, as it is, she is unable to use her powers, unable to defend herself against the abuse she recieves on a daily basis.

Character name: Ashtabula (yes, Amai, i know that i have another char by the same name ;-P) better known as Ash

Appearance: she tends to wear her hair in a braid wraped around her head once then looped so that the end of the curve of the braid falls to her waist. she never lets it down where others can see. she's her eyes are a deep emerald green. she tends to wear comfortable clothes that she can move in, and that hide her very fit body realtively well.
Mutancy: i guess you could say invisablity, though she doesn't really go invisable. it's a bit of a mental mutancy, she's incredably easy to forget, even though she's so noticable physically. you could be looking right at her and not see her, if she didn't want to be seen, or remember that you did see her. usually, the only people who can see her when she doesn't want to be seen are the ones who are looking for her specifically, which is nearly impossible since no one remembers meeting her five minutes after she leaves.
Basic bio: as a child, she was very friendly, full of personality. she loved to socialize and be the center of attention, and her parents were very adoring... then, at the age of eight, her "powers," what she more commanly referred to as her curse, started to emerge. before, when she walked into a room she would be greeted by at least half a dozen of her friends, but after her eigth birthday, she would walk into a room and no one would even look up. when she spoke, she'd get startled reactions from people, as though they hadn't seen or heard her coming. she didn't realize that with the curse, she had also gained inhumane silence as she moved. after time, she improved upon this, learning how to move about without leaving any trace of herself, but that's getting ahead of myself. needless to say, this hurt, espcially since she didn't know why they never seemed to notice her. a year went by before she realized that people who hadn't known her all her life never seemed to remember meeting her, and those who had known her were slowly starting to forget. when she was eleven, her parents moved. by that time they had forgotten they even had a daughter and had unknowingly left her behind. she was found by several social workers and constantly sent to the same orphanage, but since no one remembered sending her there, it wasn't until she was fifteen that someone finally checked the records and saw her name written down dozens of times. she was sent to the mutant school after some rather intelligent man had realized she must be a mutant. during all of this, she went from very friendly and outgoing to guarded and quite. she would go weeks at a time without saying anything and seeming to just disappear, even though she was always right there. her heart grew frozen with betrayl after betrayl. she didn't hate just humans.... she hated everyone. she learned control over her ablities over time, so that she could be remembered if she wanted to be, and could choose who would or wouldn't see her, but by that time she had built such a wall around herself that she could never go back to the way she was eight years ago. (warning, when i first made her a year or so ago, she was training herself to be an assassin, so some little bits of that might pop up... she feels no regret about killing, though she doesn't do anything like that needlessly. the price has to be right. also, if there's a gym or any place where she can exercise, that's where she'll most likely be. she keeps herself in excellant shape, always, and has half trained herself in several diffrent fighting styles and weapons, mainly by sitting in classes unnocticed. hope this is alright)

Appearance:
Mutancy: Rapid Healing Ability and Flight. Randomly has Steel, Blade-like Wings tear from his back and other misc. happenings.
Basic Bio: Ran always felt that he was normal. He had heard of the mutant uprisings around the world but never dreamed that he himself was one. Upon discovery of his healing ability at the age of 17, a military testing organization abducted him and began conducting various tests. The tests were designed to formulate a reliable system in which to create over powerful bio-mechanial weapons in which to use against the mutants. During one of the test phases, Ran's body had large steel wings erupt from his back and that last thing seen at the facility was a bright flash of light. The surrounding area was completely wasted for 2 miles in every direction, destroying everyone and everything in it. Since the incident, Ran has been fleeing from the government and has been in constant hiding while jumping from city to city. Now, in a final attempt of evasion, he has run to the Montant Home for shelter and assistance.
