Argggh...so I found this adorable Tender Too for sale in the Marketplace on Den of Angels and decided to put off getting a Tender Zen from DOD.
This boy is going to cost me $245...problem is, I've only got $50 in my dolly-savings-box, and about $20 of it is going to buying shoes for my only other doll.
And I don't know how long T.Too will be on hold for me...so I'm going to sell my soul to the elementry school kids across the street! DX I really want this boy... Seriously though, I'm probably going to end up spending my summer selling candy to the brats...starting today. Damn I need a job...

You can always try a yard sale.
Gather up some old clutter in your room and bring that candy you'd be selling with you. Also offer drinks or something simple like that. It's a good way to get rid of junk, make room for your doll, and save up for him/her. Old books, clothes, knick knacks... Maybe you can even get your parents to let you sell off some of their stuff. Tell them you'll get rid of it in the yard sale you're running and then say they can have 50% of the profit on their stuff. Haggle if you have to. Most of the time they don't mind and even think it's a benifit to them because they don't have to sit outside all day selling the stuff.
Yardsale tips: Be sure to put the date and times of the sale on the yard sale sign. Make the signs bright with arrows and post them early in the morning or the night before. Keep water outside with you. Have a cash box. Wear sunscreen. And put all your items on a table or a cloth. No one wants things that are just laying on the ground. Clearly mark the prices on the items with stickers.
