((Bah, I don't know what to put in the title... Okay, well this is a 2 way RP between me and LightofTheDark. So, if you want to start, I'll just make something up blaugh )) Quote: Name: Ravenar DeMirro Gender: Male Age: Unknown (looks to be about 1 Race: Drow Class: Mage/Sorcerer (take your pick for the term, you know...) Appearance/Weapons: Black skinned, red eyed, and bearing short, white hair. He wears a cloak made out of spider silk, dyed black. This cloak has been laced with basic elemental protections, from things such as fire, ice, lightning, and so forth. He carries two weapons. One is a staff named Valbyl, another, a dagger made from stone called Wylth. The staff was a quality that when struck against a person, it wraps around them, either strangling them or tripping them, restraining him or something. The dagger is a tool of pure death. Once lodged into something, anything, it explodes in a ball of thorns that shoot out from the blade, shrinking back inside once pulled out. He wears black bat leather boots, and also a few scrolls and spell components in his cloak. Beneath his cloak is a spider silk shirt of the same universal color of his wardrobe, and he usually wears a brown cloak over all of himself to keep his identity hidden. Personality/Abilities: He is generally kind, a bit naive at times, and a tad gullible. However in combat he is serious and focused, which allows him to cast spells easier. Drow magic, of course, is more potent, and being a Drow, he has the innate ability to resist many magical spells. History: Exiled from the Underdark due to his mysterious ability to penetrate the innate barriers of other Drow, able to eliminate them with some rather advanced yet usually useless spells. Thought to be too powerful to threathen with execution, he was banished from the Underdark. Ravenar doesn't exactly care, he would rather be alone with his art. That doesn't mean he has no time for friends, he would just rather be alone at times. He has a weak spot for gems and jewels.

((*wonders* Indy and I were planning on doing a two-way mentorship, but as we couldn't think of anything either, we decided to try to use Strange Days and mentor through PM. Since SD is stalled though, that hasn't been working well... so now for the LIGHTBULB: would a four-way mentorship work, or just be cumbersome? I think it might depend on how regularly all of us are online...))

((4 way mentorship would be awesome if I may say so. First it can all be done in the thread not PM. Second you could have 1-3 different opinions (If a person doens't have something new to add then they don't have to post critisism on a post) and third it will be more interesting to mentor with 4 people instead of the usual 2.))

((H'okay...*ponders*)) Char's Name: Lashantha Al'Carne Height: 5'9" Age: 75 Weight: 165lb Race: Drow Appearances: She's fairly tall and muscular, though not overly. Her body is toned and her skin is the color of chocolate. Long ebony hair hangs down to her waist and is usually held in a long, thick braid. Black eyes look out from almond shaped eyes. A single scar marrs her smooth face, it's a thin line that runs from almost under her eye to her jaw on her left cheek. Pointed ears have a thick, silver hoop in each lobe, and her tunic is a blood red. She wears black pants with red dyed leather boots turned down just below the knee. A brown leather belt has a belt pouch and an occupied dagger sheath attatched to it, as well as a strap that goes up and over her left shoulder to hold a plain looking sword sheath to her back. A sword hilt of ordinary steel and wrapped in boarhide pokes out over her shoulder from the sheath. Weapons: Her blade, Shan'naal, is a large, two handed blade that looks like a four foot cutlass with a notch near the tip (working on drawing this ) The hilt is wrapped with ordinary boar hide and the pommel is nothing but a polished stone. The blade however, is tinted red, and symbols are enscribed upon it, glowing a fierce crimson whenever she uses it. An ordinary leather sheath has the same symbols on the outside of it, though the sheath looks like it should belong to a broadsword. It's actually a pocket dimension of sorts, able to hold Lashantha's sword easily. She also has a dagger, the serpantine blade also tinted to a blood red. The hilt on this is a little more ornate, being a pair of golden vipers winding up it and the heads sticking out to either side of the blade to form the cross-piece. Equipment A Mask in the image of her Goddess, and a few theiving tools, such as wires to pick locks, tight gloves..etc. Powers: She can see in pitch blackness, using infrared vision, and can summon an orb of darkness. A few minor spells she knows, such as summoning a small fireball, or a few other elemental spells.. Weaknesses: Bright light hurts her eyes, and not many people take kindly to drow elves walking about their towns, so she usually keeps her identity hidden. She has forgotten the ability to levitate and sometimes she tries to use it in tight situations, but to no avail History:Lashantha was the heir to her clans throne, the daughter of the Ill'haress and the weapons master of the clan Val'Sagress before a merchant decided he could get so very much for selling an exotic drow female as a slave. So he kidnapped her, and shut her up in a nailed box. It was many weeks before they finally surfaced in a cave in the deep mountains. Still in the confines of her box though, Lashantha could not see anything. The cracks had been smeared with tar and wrapped in chains to prevent her from getting out. Though she could have easily blasted the box with a well placed fireball, she would have blown herself to smitherines in the process. They left the cave and began a trek through the mountains, but all Lashantha felt was a coldness and the bumps of the ride, she had no idea they were now on the dreaded surface world. The caravan was miles from the cave when it chanced across a band of raiders. Thus they were attacked, and in his foolishness, the merchant decided to let Lashantha out to help defend them. As soon as Lashantha got out and was handed a weapon, she slaughtered the merchant and hide behind a cart, searching it's contents for a better weapon of sorts. Thats when she found it, a large sword (Shan'naal) in it's magical sheath. Her sensitive drow fingers were able to feel the magic about the weapon, and claimed it for her own at once. Though it was night time, the sky both awed and horrified her. And it wasn't untill the sun rose that she truely became afraid. The sun stung her eyes and forced her to stay in a dark cave untill it had set again. Then she ran, and slew any that got in her way as she ran from the fighting and into the deep mountains. She stayed in the mountains for a few years, then finally ventured out of the expanse of cold rock and into a rolling meadow. It was there that she began her wandering, a thick cloak with a deep hood keeping her herritage hidden whenever she went into a city. She earned her way along in the cities as a hired Assassin and Thief, and it was durring one of these jobs that she came across her dagger. She had been robbing a fat lord of a few of his magical treasures when she found the dagger laying on a pedestal, it had no obvious magical enchantments other than there being no rust or scratches on the weapon. So she nabbed that on her way out and it came in use as a few guards noticed her while she ran. She threw it and hit the first, surprising the other long enough to slash his throut with her sword. Retrieving the dagger, she pocketed it and delivered the valubles she had been hired to steal. To this day she still wanders, The sunrise still stings her eyes, but not as much as it did the first time. And it seems to diminish each day ((URK!! >.< Not RPing all weekend has made me SLOOOOW..and given me no brain.))

((Fine by me! WHOLE SHAMOLEYS that's a long profile! Well, you can call me Yolanda, since that's my real name, or Boat, if you wish blaugh . This is a Medieval Fantasy setting, correct?))
Char's Name: Yolanda Height: 5'7'' Age: 21 Weight: 120lbs Gender: Female Race: Human *gaspage* Appearances: Yolanda is about average height, but quite thin. She isn't very muscled, or very strong, but her speed makes up for that disadvantage. Her hair is dark and falls in waves to her lower back. Dark eyes are hidden by a large hood, attached to her cape which she almost always wears. The black cape on the back shimmers with arcane runes when the light hits it just right. Her clothing usually consists of simple blue robes, enchanted magickally so that they are slightly stronger than regular fabric, but nowhere near as cumbersome as armour. She carries around a brown bag, but it often is unable to be seen, making it much easier to carry. Class: Mage and Seer Weapons: Yolanda's only real weapon is her staff. It is a silver quarterstaff, made of a special metal, made to be able to take the strain of magick. On top, is a clear crystal that Yolanda uses for her 'Sight'. Equipment: Her brown bag, which contains various items such as healing potions, herbs and magickal items which she often uses. Powers: Yolanda has control over the air and the wind. She can use this power to shape the air into several different forms. Also, she is sometimes able to summon visions. Other times, they come without warning. Yolanda's spells include: Wind Blades, Windless, Air Vines, Twisters and Wind Arrow. However, her repitoire of spells is much too large to list here. As well, because of her History (See History) she can also sometimes combine her wind powers with that of the other elements. However, her expertise in this area is rather limited. Basic spells, such as: Minor Healing, Transformations and Invisibility are also known spells of hers, although they are not as developed as her Wind and Air enchantments. History: Yolanda was born into a semi-wealthy family. She had five siblings, three brothers and two sisters. When she was still very young, she discovered her powers over wind and the visions that came to her through dreams. Soon, she began to harness these powers, training from her siblings, parents and older masters. Her siblings were known as the Six Seers and each had the ability to control a different element; Water, Air, Earth, Fire, Light and Shadow.
When she discovered her abilities with magick, she was delighted. However, Yolanda soon realized that her abilities were not always what the seemed to be. Nightmares took the place of dreams and horrible visions took hold of her when she least expected it. Death and destruction haunted her every step.
When she had turned the age of 18, the young mage decided to leave her humble village to explore the world. Her oldest brother and sister had already left on their journey and returned, much wiser and more experienced. Yolanda vowed to follow in their footsteps and those of her parents and former masters. Having now mastered her powers with the wind, she is also able to summon visions by her will, although what she saw was not always what she had wanted to see. Still, she decided to leave, promising herself that one day, she would return to her village as a Mage that she would be proud of.

Name: Imolaured (Eemoe-lore-ed) Race: Dragon Age: 37 Height: 5'11'' at the shoulder Weight: A ton or so... Gender: Male ((The second male charrie I've ever played! w00t!)) Description: Imolaured's hide is a dark blue color; it tends to get slightly brighter or darker depending on his emotions. His wings (which are slightly translucent) are still very large for his body, giving him a rather gangly appearence. His eyes are a bright yellow with cat-like pupils. Imolaured is still practically infantile by dragon standards; however, he's been capable of fully understanding the world around him for about twenty years now, so his personality usually comes off to humans as a weird combination of semi-maturity and pure childishness.
Imolaured's feet have large claws and opposable thumbs; he can grasp small objects, but between his lack of coordination and the claws, it can be very difficult. As young as he is, Imolaured can survive on the various plant products in the forest; he really likes a bit of meat (raw or cooked) now and then though. Equipment: none on him, some stuff in his lair Powers: Imolaured is capable of short (rather erratic) flights, but he usually has to take off from above the ground to get going. He can also create dragon flame, but his ability has only just begun to develop and is not yet very strong. His claws can be quite dangerous in close quarters, as can his canine teeth. History: Imo is a bad little dragon runaway. A year or so ago he got fed up with his foster mother and life with the dragons in general and (rather stupidly) decided to run away. Luckily he knew enough from his lessons to survive on the products in the forest; he actually has a very good memory. He currently has his own little 'lair' underneath a large dead oak tree in the middle of the forest; most of the objects in it would be considered junk by anyone else, however.
Imo avoids most other dragons; being so young, he has almost no standing with them. Occasionally (but not very often, due to the various risks) he does drop into the human and elf habitations on the edges of his forest for company. He's very lonely otherwise, but (rather childishly) refuses to return to his foster family and their lair.
((It seems a little short, but being so young he just hasn't done much yet...))

((Holy crap long bio's!!))
Name:Salenai Race:Storyteller Age:25 Height:5'7 Weight:127 lbs Gender:Female Description:Salenai was a 25 year old woman. Only she looked about 19 or 20. She had dark black hair that was plaited and hung down her back in a way that was thought to be quite odd. From afar she looked to be normal but up closer her hair appeared to have blue and purple undertones. Her eyes were a light blue, like the sky on a crisp winter morning. She was of an average height and quite slender. She wasn't the strongest person in the world but she had a good endurance and she is extremely flexible. She wears a deep purple cape that accents the highlights in her hair and underneath she wore a simple dress in a creamy colour, resembling butter. Equipment: Her story book (explained in powers) Powers:Storytellers have the power to weave spells with their words. While others need extreme concentration and things like potions storytellers need only their imagination. They will start to chant a story (or just speak it) centering on what they want to happen. For example if they wanted everyone who heard their story to fall asleep they would tell a story along the lines of sleeping beauty. This is their only power but it is very strong. The only problem is that sometimes if the teller is under extreme stress the spell will not work. History:Salenai's mother was a storyteller as well. Most storytellers are woman however there is the odd boy to become a
