 Welcome to the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Betting Pool -- Suites Style! Yes, we totally took the idea from the current betting pool in the Harry Potter subforum, just don't tell them that we stealed! >_>;; IT'S HERE!!! Syd and I [along with the help of other fellow members and crew] have opened a Harry Potter Betting Pool for Suites members only since so many of us are Harry Potter fans. :]
P L E A S E N O T E; If you are only a movie fan, you might have difficulties with placing bets as you do not know what went down with the fifth and sixth book. Also, this thread probably will have tons of spoilers. This is ideal for book fans, but everyone can place a bet! :] I N T H I S T H R E A D Y O U C A N;

- No bets will be taken after midnight Pacific time on July 19th
- This thread is for Harry Potter fans by Harry Potter fans. Please do not come in here in flame, also.. be respectful. O:
- You cannot change your bet after you've place it.
- When you are posting your answers, please put a simple yes or no. Do not explain your answers. It's not that we do not want to read them, it just makes things more complicated. You can, of course, discuss your answers in the thread if you like.

HOW TO BET We're going to make this as simple as possible. :]
Post your answers to the questions that you are betting on in the thread. You do not have to answer every question -- just the ones that you feel you want to bet on. Post your answers all in one post in this thread. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS IS NOT A QUIZ. After you've placed your bet, put the total of the gold and the total of the numbers answered at the bottom of your post.
Send the gold amount that you totaled up to our mule Got Harry. Please remember that every question is 5gold each. We also will not add you to the pool unless you've accepted the request completely.
Make sure that you get your bets in before the betting pool closes. When it does we will send you the gold that you won, if you've won. =] Since it is just Syd and I and possibly Ky, and if we get a lot of bets, this could take a while. Please be patient. We will be going by the order that you placed your bets and try and get your winnings to you ASAP. :] Syd and I will be the judges on if the questions are yes or no, and while most are straightforward, if you disagree with the answers [because we'll post them] then PM one of us and we'll work something out. And you know, Syd and I both have to finish the book and recover a bit before we can judge. n___n
