mistressofthelost Yeah, yeah, quit trying to find a loop hole so you can watch porn without feeling guilty. Playboy and the like is porn right? Right. And there are only women in Playboy, right? Right. And when the girl is by herself, she can't be having sex, right? Right. Therefore, sex is not needed to make porn. In conclusion, porn is simply sexual pictures or writings that are meant to cause arousal. Not just the viewing of sex.
Well, you see, my argument state that Playboy is not porn, just mere sexually arousing images, but not porn. Therefor, Playboy is OK.
By the way, I dont feel this way, I know its wrong, but i am wondering why its isnt considered porn. AKA: pr0n

mistressofthelost Ever considered that the argument may be wrong? Porn is slang for pornography, and the definition of pornography is "sexually explicit pictures, writing, or other material whose primary purpose is to cause sexual arousal". Thus, Playboy is considered to be porn. Softcore, yes, but still porn.
alright, but porn can be mere cleavage then... well, only in the form of pictures, writing, and other material...
and yes, when i say porn, i mean pornography

Sarcasm, wonderful. But no. At least in our society, porn is considered to be the actual showing of our so-called "private areas". So technically, cleavage isn't porn. If it was, then we'd be looking at porn every time we went in public... -.-
And I know that's what you mean. But for sake of the argument, I clarified that.
But overall, the purpose of porn (i.e. nude or partially nude pictures, sexually explicit writings or videos, etc.) is to cause one to lust, which is wrong, as Cometh said. Lust is an "intense or unrestrained sexual craving." (www.dictionary.com) So basically, anything with the sole purpose of making you sexually desire something is wrong.

Again, technically, cleavage isn't considered to be porn. But if you really want to...you can call it that. Just don't expect the rest of the world to agree with you.
The things low cut shirts, belly shirts, mini skirts and the like show are considered to be immodest, but not pornographic.

Such as clevage pics Cleavage isn't sexually explicit, so no, it isn't porn. And actually... I haven't flipped through a Playboy lately, but does it really have sexually explicit content? Or just pics of naked girls? (That's all the centerfolds consist of, I can tell you that much. There's not even any touching or... juice involved, just nudity and sometimes even just sexy clothing in the older issues) Because if that's the case, it's not really porn either, since nudity isn't sexually explicit per se.
