Hey people, I'm trying to gather as much information on this topic as possible. Thing is, I'm having a hard time doing so. I was wondering if anyone here might know some things about it. If you can, just tell me what you know of the war and what happened.

The series doesn't go too much into it, but from what I can gather, a lot of destruction happened. You can see by the pictures in the final season ending credits.

Please and thank you.

It was the pictures from the war aftermath after the first Summer of Love.

Yup, yup. I believe it was that civil war thing that was going on ten years prior to when the main story of Eureka Seven started.

Hmm. Info about the war after the second summer of Love. Well, I guess there isn't any. But there are some things we are led to believe.

1. Jergens and Holland will be prominent figures in a new group that will be working to rebuild.

2. A large portion of the towers have fallen. The debris that fell seemed to be targeted at them.

3. The scub can regenerate and the command cluster was recreated by the Nirvash.
(explaination: When blasted in episode 49 the hole 'healed' itself. Also, the whole point of Nirvash staying in the cluster was to allow the limit of questions to be avoided and for Eureka/Renton to continue to live together)

4. There are huge chunks of scub 'floating' around the planet earth now.

5. The entire planet earth is an undeveloped home that survivors from the upper crust can pioneer. It would hold all the vital resources to support either "New Frontier" type communities or militant organizations.

6. The Aghea Squad are loyal to Dewey's 'vision' and though Jergen may work to control them. They are intelligent and manipulative little brats that could easily betray him and work to further the goals Dewey had layed out before his death.

As everyone else has already said, the closing credits are scenes following the events of the first Sumer of Love.

Here's a little tid bit I just learned from the new 5th manga.

Ruri
"There's been only one time the military tried to create an artificial Seventh Swell...

That attempt would also be the greatest disaster in our history... the Summer of Love.

And you know the aftermath. The sudden cessation of trapar, right after the explosion. The skirmishes that broke out seemingly at once over what few resources remained.

I think that the survivors of the ruling class would probably have made a land grab for the earth itself. The refugees that made it through the ordeal would have no real way to reach Earth without transportation.

Jergens could have opened communications with the surviving UF ships and possibly won some of them over to his side but I'm not sure.

One things is for sure. There would have been a new issue of Ray-Out showing how everything went down.

Um.. that's it's. I could keep going but it would be alot more guessing.

Shoot, what a flippin' typo... I'm sorry, I'm talking about the thing that happened after the first! summer of love. Apparently a lot of destruction happened, or was it before? I need a little help.

Ok...the war right? Well that took place between the first and second summer of love. The first cause some huge trapar disturbance and blah blah blah....my brains not working at the moment stare
Well in the end there was a great depression and people needed food, homes, land to live off of and they had none. Plus since the trapar went crazy!!! they couldn't move around in LFOs, ships, etc.
(Plus it was still taking place in Eureka 7 hence this Eureka qoute)

I think the war that's happening in the course of the show is more like a remnant of the one 10 years before. Because they were pretty much doing the same thing back then, right? Fighting/killing off the Voderak people, so whatever fighting is happening in the course of the show is just a remnant of that. Yeah, I think that's what it is. Something like that.

It's not as big as it was 10 years before, but there's still some fighting going on. That happens, ya know. Like there will be a civil war in some country and there's a big main fight with it and someone "wins", but then as the years continue there's still little spouts and bouts happening here and there, the fighting not completely over. I think Iraq might make a good example of that... maybe...

Either way, if they do make an Eureka SeveN movie I hope it's about the long lost past and the war that went with it. This way fans everywhere will finally understand the whole truth about the series.
