Mr. Damian Kelly maps
1. Buttercat Fields: A general place for buttercats and their caretakers to lounge and soak up the sun. There's a woodsy area, as well as open grass to enjoy.
2. Common Quarter: This is where most of the people live. Despite having the craftman's quarter located in its center, the general populace of the island reside here. There is no poor or rich area, as all the housing is equal in quality. Arenaithians work together.
3. Cloud Ship Quarter: This district is split in two. The norther half has mostly important people's housing (or those with extremely large families). Damian's house is actually located there. The southern half is quartered away for the cloud ship construction, innovation and docking. There is also a warehouse area in the south east of the zone, continuing on into the common quarter as indicated with the more elongated buildings. If you live in this quarter, you can dock your ship at your house (unless it's too large) Other residence dock at the docks extending over the islands edge.
4. Buttercat Hall: A building established for the caretaking of buttercats. There is a hospital wing, a nursery, a lounging area for the older cats, and other official offices. All ceremonies take place on its steps, as the whole population can fit onto them.
5. Craftsmen's Terrace: This building looks as if twenty houses were jammed into one large building. There are balconies everywhere, and it extends up from the ground twenty stories. In here are the craftsman. Jewelry, clothing, metals. All are worked here. On market day, there are booths set up all around the outside of the building, so one just has to walk the exterior to find what they want. There is of course a craftsman guild, and many more things included with that, but for shortness sake i'll not go into them as of yet.
6. Cloud Ship Yard: This building houses cloud ship construction on one side, and invention on the other. In the middle are offices and other official areas. All cloud ships are constructed and registered here, As well as classes on handling. There is also a bar, located in the back right of the building, for all workers, for them to let off steam after long journeys.
7. Cloud Ship Dock: Contains small stores for goods needed on journeys, as well as the main dock itself. It can hold hundereds of cloud ships, and if you're the owner of one, your area is registered for your docking only. It can be a nice evening walk, as the sights are spectacular due to the constant innovations and experimentations.
8. Everlast: This tree is the only remaining original tree on the island. All others had been planted since the coming of Arenaithians. There is a story about a woodsman attempting to cut it down, but a buttercat lept in the way at the last moment. The woodsman was so moved by the sacrifice, that he spared the tree, and cared for the buttercat back to health. Since then it's grown to magnificent hights, and often is a favourite playspot for teen buttercats, having finally gotten used to their wings a bit.

Previously in the main thread: Lady Kabane Fate dashed through the forest looking for his fleeing auntie who had decided it would be fun to play a game with him; unlike his mother and aunt he had little to no contact with other Buttercats other than his own family so even though he was fully grown he was still fearful of being alone... Fei was waiting for him with Cai at the edge of the forest, Cai was displeased with her sister but she knew it was Fei's way to be childish. Keliptis Umber slowed her trot and watched her brother bounce through the woods more mother and aunt Fei were in front somewhere. But rather then hurry and join them she some reason found it funner to watch her brother. She stayed well enought away from him that she didnt feel he could hear her. Slowly creeping along at a much slower pace then she would have liked.Chesire unsure of the woods behind her sighed. it seemed all to often that she got her self lost. She stoped looking at one of the near by trees "damnit." she yelled to her self when she seen the all to clear scratching marks, she had already been here, a hour of time and all she did was go in a circle. it was time to admit she was all but totally lost. xPantherx Nipo yawned lazily, her tail twitched a bit in boredom. She was completely lost again. Her sense of direction was horrible as well as her self-esteem. She stopped and stretched, but quickly straighten up looking around self-consciously. She had never met any other Buttercats in her life and could barely remember her old family. Her life had revolved around getting lost and hiding most of the time from others. Lady Kabane Fate didn't even notice the other buttercat when he collided into her and didn't realize he had hit another living creature till he was staring up at it from on his back.. "I'm sorry." He muttered quietly backing away from the other out of instinct- she was unfamilar. xPantherx Nipo stared down at the other Buttercat for a moment. She was half curious and half scared. When he spoke she nearly jumped out of her skin. She took a few steps back as well but hesitated and stared at the other Buttercat. "H-hello...." she said nervously. Lady Kabane "Uh... Hi." He replied just as nervous... She didn't seem to be much of a threat... "Who're you?" xPantherx "Ermm... I'm... Nipo" She said quietly. Her tail twitched a bit, which was also how she showed her nervousness. "And... you are?" she added after a moments hesitation. Lady Kabane "Fate." He answered simply before sitting back up embarassed that he had fallen infront of a stranger. "What are you doing here alone?" xPantherx Nipo didn't really seem to notice that he had been on the ground, she had only noticed another of her kind. "Errr... I don't know actually. I've never really been with others and I always seem to get lost....." She said as she glanced around before looking back at Fate. "Your the first Buttercat I've seen in a long time. In fact...." She paused wondering if she should continue. "In fact your probably the first Buttercat I've met outside my family." she continued. deciding that he seemed nice enough. Though her tail began to really twitch after she said it. Keliptis Sudden Chesire heard something all to familur the sound of voices. she didnt know right away what to do. "go towards the noise, go towards it, you know you want to.""Theril knock it off." she growled at the mouse that was hiding near her ear. Shaking her head maybe a bit to vioently and came to a crash on the ground, birds flying around her head.Umber covered a giggle as she watched her brother run right into another buttercat. as shocked as she was to see one she wasnt faced with it. her brother seemed not to understand what to do. shockly that was the others reaction to. wiggleing back in the bush alittle she lauched her self in the air and came to a crash in the middle of the two. "BOOOOO." she yelled at the top of her lungs. Lady Kabane Fate panicked not expecting such a commotion before fleeing into the woods; the poor timid little fellow poked his head back and glared at his sister for making such a seen... "Why did you do that Umber!?" Keliptis Umber stoped and looked with a smile at her brother. "ummm." she really had no reason for scareing him. it had just seemed funny at the moment. wagging her tail like a dog she sat down. "it was just all to fun." after giveing a large inocent smile in his direction. xPantherx When the second Buttercat had jumped between them and yelled, her entire system had shut down and she fainted. Keliptis Umber looked over at the other buttercat her brother had been talking to right as she collasped to that ground. "uh oh." she stammered looking down not sure what to do. she had never seen a fainted buttercat before. and was so unsure was to do. "ummmmmm." not noticeing she had started to pace.Cheshire inched forward more hiding as well as her purple fur allowed. damn the world for making her purple, sighing over it she decided no changeing that now. Right as the other buttercat lept from the woods yelling boo Cheshire jumped nearly 10 feet in the air cluching a tree branch above her all her fur on end. xPantherx Nipo felt herself begin to come to again. She twitched her paw, and then as usual her tail twitched right afterwards. One of her eyes opened and glanced around. Her first thought was Where am I? till she remembered and jumped up, half startled and half ashamed. Lady Kabane Fate remained in the bushes for a moment longer before returning to check on the other scared buttercat. "Now look what you did Umber!" He snorted before backing away at Nipo's movement. "Are you alright Nipo?" Keliptis "i didnt mean to scare her." Sitting back down umber looked at the ground sadly.Cheshire was scared, her heart was beating a million miles per hour. "uh oh." suddenly there was a crack. stare the branch and buttercat crashed to the ground. xPantherx Nipo blinked a few times before stammering, "I-I think so..." Her heart was beating quickly as she tried to keep herself for bolting for the nearest cover. When the third Buttercat fell her heart nearly gave out. Lady Kabane Fate jumped looking over at the new buttercat, his fear of the unknown was overridden by the concern for the new one... "Are you dead?" He called the first thing that popped into his head to the strangely colored one. Keliptis Umber snickered at her brothers remark. "maybe we should poke it with a stich" reaching down she grabbed one in her mouth."im not dead." Cheshire hurt her body was sore, she worked the branch off her and looked at the ground. "no poking me with a stick.""yea its not very nice." suddenly there was a mouse in the group to he glared at the ones gathered around. xPantherx Nipo seem to sway for a moment before shaking her head and turning her attention to the Buttercat. "I hope their alright...." she said mainly to herself. Lady Kabane "Ya sure you're ok?" Fate asked as he mouse popped out from its hiding place and peered at the other mouse shocked to see one of it's kind; but it said nothingg going bavck to sleeping. Keliptis "yes im fine." Cheshire looked at the ground. "well we havent met, im Cheshire and this here." she pointed at the mouse, "is theril.""well im umber." she said smiling. "and this is my annoying brother and his girlfriend." xPantherx Nipo stared at the doormice confused for a moment but decided that some cats just have them. She also decided if any more surprises came along she was going to have a heart attack and die. She did stare at the other Buttercat though with increasing interest.

"She's not my girlfriend, I just met her five minutes ago." Fate retorted glaring at his sister... "I'm Fate, and Umber is my crazy sister." He hissed the last part still glaring at his sister.

"he loves me so much cant you tell." smileing at her brother wagging her tail just a bit in the dirt behind her.

Umber turned and glared at cheshire before giveing a snort and throwing her head in the air like that failed to bother her at all. "that comes from the one that fell outta a tree what do you think wings are for?"

Nipo continue to sit there confused. She was at a loss for words and her brain seemed to have shut off. Not knowing what to do she glanced back at Fate, being he was the first Buttercat and seemed the most sane, and sort of shrugged and sighed.
((I really am at a loss for words, can't think of anything to put. And yay I founf the thread! XD))

Umber seeing that Nipo seemed to be gone walked over "hello are u there." reaching out she poked her with on forpaw smiling back at her brother. "shes a really odd one for u to chose as a girl friend."

Nipo stared at Umber confused. "Whats a girlfriend?" she asked quietly. She began to scooch away from Umber feeling uncomfortable and nervous.

Umber stoped and glanced at Nipo. "ummmm like a mommy and a daddy are together," she droped her head, "i really donno either."
"yes alot of hostility here now." Cheshire looked at the group, "maybe i should be going."

Nipo was still confused but didn't like how it made Fate uncomfortable. She hated making or seeing anything become uncomfortable and always blamed herself even if it didn't even invlove her. "Ummmm... Do you want me to go?" she asked quietly, feeling she was the reason for all of this.

((I'm gonna butt in and move your storyline along. to give you something else to talk about/run from. hehe. ))
While the buttercats sat there arguing with each other, the forest around them began to grow increasingly silent. The general chirping and flittering about of the normal woods slowly died down to silence. All that could be heard was the rustle of the leaves in the trees as the gentle breeze turned into something a little stronger.
From almost directly overhead, the deafening screech of a crow called out its warning and automatically flew off to safety. Its screams dying out as it flew speedily away.

When the crow let out it's screech Nipo jumped into the air with a squeak and dove under a bush, her heart racing. She glanced around scared and worried about what the other Buttercats would think of her cowirdance and what had scared the crow.
((Nipo is so fun to rp when she's so easily scared in nervous XD))

Cheshire bumped into someone in the bush and spun around maybe it was that crow that she ran from. panicing she was glad to see it was only Nipo. Heart raceing she looked around, "is it gone." She asked no one in paticular and looked quickly around the sky.
"yes." Umber shockly hadnt moved, she acted like a deer in head lights, but now she was more wondering what just made that crow flee. "but what we should worry about more was why that crow just fled." biteing down on her upper lip she looked around. "well you two can come from that bush now."

Nipo glanced wide-eyed up at the sky for a moment before crawling out slowly. "W-what was that about?" she said her mind was still half in shock.

Fate flicked his tail and looked to the other buttercats; "Its getting late anyway, we should had home anyway." He informed the two before hurrying off in the direction he thought his mother was in- mostly he was still sort of perturbed that Umber had been picking on him once again.
