Yeah, I really didn't like Light's loss of elegance he usually has at the end. That disgusted me with how pathetic he was (sorry to put it so bluntly!!).

That comic is freakin' hilarious, by the way.

Misa was in the very last few panels of the story...When Kira's worshipers (is that how you spell it?) were travelling up a mountain with candles. I assume that was like a annual memorial thing, but I don't know if that's what it was called for sure.

If you really want spoilers about what happened to her, then please highlight the following...: According to a website I found that has the "How to Read" section written out on it, Misa died about a year and a month after Light. I think that was how long it was. That was a month after the last scene in the story. In my opinion, it's either becase all of that Shinigami eyes trades she did shortened her life that much, or that she committed suicide because she couldn't live without Light. Actually, even though being a Light/Raito fangirl (Yes, I am indeed a girl despite my avatar being male) I liked the ending because it didn't make Near look superior to Light when Matsuda suggested that he used the Death Note to control Mikami. I would have been upset if Near had come out looking like this big hero that conquered evil, that just wouldn't seem right after following the story in Light's point of view.

I was also happy with the fact that he would have won had Mikami not taken the real Death Note out of the safety deposit box.

And to 2nd Dark Lord: If he were completely self absorbed he would have just killed people that he didn't like. He knew that everyone wouldn't go along with the concept of his perfect world hence the scene where he was watching the girl on TV that said "Kira is evil" yet turned to the internet and saw praise for Kira. His goal was to make the world a better place by using extreme methods.

I think that Light dying sucks. I mean I loved Death Note and Light was the coolest character, but It's hard to believe he would die like that. It was a stupid way to die. I mean he was begging and was acting stupid. It didn't even show Mikami taking out the notebook beforehand. So it's a cheap way to end it.

I don't think Light should have won. Light had destroyed Matsuda's world, and Matsuda wasn't about to let an innocent die. I think that's good.

I almost burst out laughing when he like went insane and was like: "WHERE THE HEEL IS MISA? NO MISA!!! WHY AREN'T YOU ON THIS TRIP? b***h WHY?" It was funny. Too bad he didn't actually think those words.
