Okay, seems like everyone either adores the show or hates it to no end - or they like the Japanese version and not the English, or vice versa. What's everyone else's opinion on the show?

I heart it ^ ^ but i like better the japanese version and i hate the spanish version... i mean... ******** taht thing sucks (sorry for the curses the GD made me a b***h) really it sucks its not like "creelo" sounds as good as believe it or the better one "Dattebayo" and their voices are all ******** up specially in the spanish (from spain or something like that) version. at least the mexican spanish version is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better.

Yeah, seems like from language to language the quality of it changes. I think it's generally the longest anime series I've ever watched, besides Shaman King. I think the only thing I dislike about Naruto is how the animation quality wavers - once in a while there's an episode where everything seems drawn really rugged, like when Orochimaru was fighting Sarutobi up on the roof.

I'm curious about trying to watch the Japanese version, but I think it's unedited, so I don't know. Plus I'm kind of stuck in my once a week ritual of banning my family from the downstairs TV... ^^;

naruto is cool. I used to watch the subbed but now I just watch the dubbed. I read the manga. i read some yaoi doujinshis here and there. sasuke cool and all I just don't like it when people say stuff like they want to marry him or something. ^-^

Don't get me wrong, some characters are cute, but a lot of people seem to forget that they're not real.
