Changes to the Guild:

Persona and Character Profiles A forum is which you may (if you so desire) start up a thread containing all sorts of information about the online 'you' and/or your steampunk character. In there you will also see a thread "Dramatics Personae' please read this thread, it may be of some interest.

If you haven't already, check out the Aether Essay Contest. All you have to do is write a fictional essay about your own variety of Aether - fun and you can win golds (curtousy of MC Awesome).

Upcomming changes:

Sometime in the (very near, I hope) future I will finally be revealing the new 'Guild Airship' - which will open up a whole plethora of fun and RP style activities.

In regards to donations:

If you would like to donate to the guild, please do so via trade with this account (it means we can do guild-run competiions more readily). I know when I first made this account, it had no trade license, but it does now! (and has had one for some time).

Changes

The guild has changed subtly this very morning...

> The previous recreation forum (containing all non-canon RPs) has now been merged with the Airship Docks.
Essentially, everything set on the Anachronism itself will be considered 'canon' (so please don't do anything nuts) and will now be marked with [ANA] in the thread title.
Everything else (i.e. all the role-plays from the Recreation forum) are now essentially 'airships' which are out doing there own thing, with possibly completely separate characters.
Note: This does not mean you must have an airship in your RP

New Sub-forums:

> Intellectual Pursuits!
Pretty much what it sounds like, post anything pertaining to sciences and such (be they real or imaginary) and anything else that might be described as 'intellectual'.

> Frivolous Topics
Perhaps the exact opposite of the above...

These changes can be considered 'complete' - but they do need some fine tuning; and due to the nature of some of these changes, problems may have arisen. Please, be on the look out for them! If you spot one, PM either myself or Vanghar.

It would appear that Lady Anna has taken on a young apprentice! (Whom I believe is called Sophia).
Not only that, but the Anachronism now has a ship's cat! Or rather several of them... o.O

In seriousness, I would like to thank the personage who 'donated' the orphan now seen on Lady Anna's avatar, who has chosen to remain anonymous.

*ahem* Since the Captain has returned, (with any luck) in the next few weeks that shall be a Most Glorious Guild Event! {insert fanfare here]. However, for this to be as big a sucess as possible, donations would be much loved! (In order to pay for prizes and the like). Obviously we cannot expect anything, but any and all donatorions will be much appreciated. heart

~ New Subforum ~

I have just complete construction on the Gaia Project
Situated on one of the six cogs; this is a large verdant park - replicating the ground below.

As grandiose as this may seem; it is in fact merely a new sub-forum for discussing anything Gaia-related (be it Steampunk or not).
I've moved a few of the Gaia threads already in this guild here (but certainly not all) - so that's where they'll be if you can't find them.

There are now two new subforums:

Arts & Media ~ for any steampunk art/literature/films etc. you wish to discuss
Geographical ~ for discussion of steampunkish locales, or arranging meets and such.

Note: Some topics have been moved to their new relevant locations; so if you can't find your thread where you left it, try there.
