The gold stallion yawned while walking, and rolled his head to get his massive hair out of his face. Life was good, the weather was warm, and his hair was coping nicely to the humidity. Plus, he was FREE. Well, free from the burden of having children following him everyday.

He hadn't seen his sons since they had grown up, and his daughter had also run off on her own. Thinking about his daughter only made him sigh at sorts, since Loveless had chosen a different way of life. The only thing that impressed him was that she was proud of what she was, and that proved to him that he had raised her well.

The only question was, would he ever see her again? And, would she try and attack him?

Such horrible thoughts drifted out of his mind as he approached a high cliff. He hadn't been paying attention to where he was walking, and he somehow stumbled on a wonderful view. He gazed at all of the Soquili, with females being most of him. Well, at least the view was pleasant at that! And, it got his mind off his horrible family dramas for the moment.

The weather was of a sort to strike Lucifer with a touch of irony. The heat was rising on the fields he had increasingly wandered, watching the figures of other Soquili go about their daily rituals. It was all so boring. So mundane, so uniform.
But his mind had been given pleasant occupation by the only other he had met, for the child had spoken of some of their kind born in the image of the Sins. As many of these are were within his reach he intended to seek out, to discover just how many of the population thereabouts were already given over to the pursuits of his delight, and how many were ripe for the picking.

He ventured out of the shadows or cover here and there, a certain pereversity of his nature daring others to be near enough to meet his intrigue, or his anger.

Ariston's purple eyes dritfted along the area below him until one figure completely stood out as unique. It was hard for him to distinguish details, but the figure was dark and eerie, bringing even Ariston's eyes to gaze.

With a leap off the cliff, he caught himself in a soar by expanding his wings out quickly. He flapped around back and forth, until he was sturdy in his hopes of reaching the ground. As he drew nearer to the figure, he noticed he was a stallion, and a strangely impressive one at that.

When his hooves hit the ground, he ruffled his hair and folded his wings correctly to his sides. He brought his purple eyes on the stallion in front of him, and took a few strides forward in a meeting fashion. "Well well," he said, kindly. "Aren't you a sight!"

The sight of the pale figure descending from on high was so reminiscent of familiar tales Lucifer could not help but fall into a bark of laughter. The white body, draped with gold, the blonde locks falling about the handsome face, oh, it was so deliciously like the coming of an arch-angel, and so bastardised, not only by whom the figure approached, but by the nature of the species of said arch-angel impressionist. It was not until several minutes, filled to the brim with the dark stallion's laughter, had passed, that he was able to bring his mirth under control.
Straightening, he coaxed his lips back from their bared grin, settling them instead into a smaller, slightly mocking smile. He did, of course, allow himself a moment to rake his eyes over the stranger, drinking in the sight whilst attempting not to return to sniggering over the entrance.

"You call me a sight? You have given me ammunition enough for my imagination to prosper for days, perhaps weeks."

Ariston left the strange stallion with a grin for a moment, before allowing himself to speak finally. "Ah, I have been told that before." he remarked casually, and with a flip of his hair, he brought his eyes back on the creature. "Though I am glad I could be of your service." Ariston tended to be foolish in front of a mare or stupid stallion, but in front of this stallion, he remained poised and completely different. Something inside him was telling him to stay firm, especially since this mystery in front of him was somehow connected to him.

Ariston let his own eyes drift casually over the creature, and the dark markings all over his body reminded him of something- but what it was remained vague in his mind. This stallion was so different and yet, so familiar as well.. such a strange feeling, it was almost creepy.

"What are you?" Ariston asked bluntly, since he was not incredible with words or speech. He didn't need to be, especially since he looked like that.

Here was a direct question. And what to answer? A fallen angel seemed too saintly, holding still the name of that former post. And was his who as good as a what? For what, indeed, could outdo him?
"I," he announced with some ceremony, "am Lucifer."

He, unlike his partner, was blessed with a tongue that excelled, but he had also an ego, and in this simple speech he felt himself to be bestowing on the other the kind of knowledge not to be imparted lightly.

"And who, or what, are you?"

Lucifer.. even thinking about the name brought chills onto his skin. It was such an awful feeling, that he needed a moment to shake the word off. "Well Lucifer, I am Ariston." He was himself, his being was what it would always be. "I am, me, as you are you. I only commented vaguely on your appearance, since it is something I have never seen before."

With a slight sigh, he continued to eye the stallion carefully. He seemed so mysterious, and Ariston was sure he was remaining quiet for his own reasons.

"But anyway, my breed states me as a Kalona, though I am more just a Sin. That is why I asked what you are, since it is not known in my brain." His eyes had never seen something like Lucifer, so he was taken aback, if anything.
