Kimaris took a deep breath in and let it out, he stood at the door of the shop and looked in at all the other anthros, it had been forever since he came here, not since he asked Sabin to be the godfather of Amon. Back then, with dear Amon in his arms, he felt like he could actually take on the world concidering he now had a son to look after.
But now that he was all grown up and had children of his own and able to fend for himself, he was now back at where it basically began, back at the store where he he first arrived a couple of years ago on christmas. Lycurgus had brought him here just after he had picked him up from his mothers orphange and yet now that just seemed like an eternity agao concidering what has happened.
Kim smiled at the anthros going in and out of the store, wanting to go in himself but yet couldnt bring himself to, how could he? He still wasnt great around people and yet he now had an old three story victorian mansion with servents and all. He was now living like a king thanks to his son but after what happened at the orphange he just still didnt trust people or at least he didnt trust alot of people....
Valiant walked up behind his grandfather and wraped his arms around his neck "what ya doing waiting around here for? You should be going in" he said as he cuddled his grandfather.
Amon stood back and smiled at his son and father as he looked over at them, waiting for Amadeus, they wernt here for long, just making sure the demon would be alright. "Valiant, sweetheart, please dont force your grandfather if he doesnt wish to go in right now" he called to his son as his other finally got out of the car and locked it up, making his way towards the store.
Amon followed, watching his father and wondering if it was the right thing to bring him here or not, he sighed and realised it was, how could he other wise? He had to face the store sometime. "Take your time dad" he said as he stood beside him, watching his sons go in and find a place on one of the sofas, both pulling out their phones and started to message people no doubt.
Kimaris looked over at his son and wraped his arm around his sons waste "I...I think I am ready" he said unsure still but took another deep breath and walked in with his son. Kim looked around the store he let go and carried on over to a sofa next t the one his grandchildren were on and sat down.
amon walked over and sat next to his father, wrapped his arms around him and cuddled him "there, you made it back here, we will stay with you untill you are sure you wil be alright" he said to his father, nuzzling him.
"Thank you" he said as he cuddled his son back, looking around the store he took in the familure sights, pleased h had his family here with him for a little while longer.
((I know fire cat meet Amon in OOC RP once before but I was thinking to ignore that and make this meeting the offical meeting of Amon and his sons meeting the fire cat for the first time. That is, if you dont mind of course... ))

Ignatius had wanted to find Keahi to speak with him about something of little consequence and when he found out his son was off patrolling, he said as much. It could wait. He was simply, when one got right down to it, lonely. A communal cat whose family is trickling away tends to feel as if their world is disappearing before one's own eyes.
Everyone in the Pocket felt his pain intimately. He was not the type who, like Shelby, went off on his own for days on end where none could find or hear from him. In fact when Ignatius moped, he tended to do it by the fire, or on a couch, or on the back deck where all could not help but see. It was not an intentional plea for attention, he simply felt most comfortable in these high-traffic areas, and at this point he could use all the comfort he could get.
Not that anyone was wont to ignore him, begrudge him, or anything of the sort (unless they were that type of person), he simply felt keenly the loss of even one individual in his self-proclaimed "family."
Now the head of the home had undergone a metamorphosis, but that did not keep Mel's duties at bay. If anything through the hysteria and confusion that were his alone, this was one of those things that anchored the now-dragon into reality. Here was a problem he could focus on, ponder over, and try to fix - however misguided and blundering his attempts might turn out to be.
It seemed that, as Mel shoved Iggy outdoors finally and onto the street, a collective sigh of relief fell over the home.
Even in the sunlight, the firecat's normal fiery colors seemed washed-out; his fur had only a dull sheen, hair and feathers were disheveled in a way that a good grooming could only begin to tame, and his face had a haggard, haunted look. Again, the look of one whose world was imploding. Ignatius and his son were not known for their guile. His long, naturally languid strides were reduced to half-hearted plodding, and he did not even pay attention to where they were going. What did it matter? He had a feeling that finding Keahi would be a long and fruitless task.
"Ah, here we are," Mel o'Marr said in a sing-song voice. He looked at the building's facade with outstretched arms and a broad smile.
"What do you mean by bringing me here?" Ignatius grumped. "Keahi isn't here."
"Oh I know that," the maddening grin continued, "but you obviously need to get out more. See your packmates. Mingle with the shop crowd. Meet more people. Dabble in a little loooove." Whatever floats his boat or gets his goat... the dragon was determined to get the firecat's old spark back, even if he had to drown the Alpha in alcohol! And he knew he could get away with it too... because he was a 'girl.' And the head of the house. And Iggy's sponsor. And he loved cats ... especially HIS cats.
Am I really that transparent? he wondered to himself.
"Not interested," Ignatius sighed, turning back for home. "There is no one I could possibly want to see."
"Not even Ali?" Mel asked slyly with an impish grin.
"He's here?"
"No... but I had to be sure."
The firecat's shocked optimism crumbled and settled back into dark annoyance. "I'm going home now," he muttered and headed off down the street.
"Oh come ON. You can't go on like this forever!" Mel growled. "What kind of Alpha gives up just like that! It's disgraceful!"
A strangled wildcat's roar tumbled out of Ignatius' throat as he spun around and launched himself at Mel. And though the dragon was knocked onto his back under the cat's weight, he was able to roll with the momentum and toss him free. Though winded and slightly scuffed, the dragon dizzily made his way back to his feet. He chuckled. "There we go, I knew there was fire left in you."
Ignatius growled in annoyance, tail whipping back and forth. But his color was indeed brighter, and the heat rose up in waves around him. "Do not question my position and capabilities as Alpha in public again," his breath hissed softly.
Mel dared approach the cat despite every syllable of body language screaming at him to stop, that he had made a grievous error and further action would only hurt everyone involved. He knew cats, be they anthropomorphic or not, and was watching every tiny twitch in Ignatius' body. But though Iggy was an Alpha, the dragon had authority in his own household. He had every right to challenge Ignatius, and be it stubbornness or a faint twist of masochism, he held his ground...then pressed on.
In somber tones, Mel spoke. "And do not turn my home into a foul cesspit of doom and gloom. Even Sian and Shelby know better than to cross me when it comes to the running of my household. You make everyone depressed and worried moping around," he continued darkly, quietly, glaring down at the firecat. "And I am not about to begrudge your right to be out with the rest of us... but kindly get a GRIP. Not everyone can make their life fit into yours. Not everyone WANTS to. Let him GO." As he ended his rant, his voice became kinder, face truly troubled. "We all love you in our own way, and I for one miss the old you. It's like you're not even...there..."
Ignatius sighed, eyes unfocused as he looked down at the ground. He had much thinking to do... less brooding and much, much more planning.
"Come with me and try to feel a bit better? You don't have to do anything. Or prowl about like you used to. Or just sit and watch... I don't care, I just want to see you ALIVE." Mel held out his taloned hand to the firecat still crouched on the sidewalk. "Please."
Looking up at the compassion in Mel's face he sighed again and took the proffered hand, not because he needed help to rise, but because he needed the support to breathe. To live. Straightening himself, he gazed at Mel and said in a lightly wavering, scratchy voice, "Thank you."
He almost sounded like his old self.

Also, I hope you don't mind the uninvited guest. But I figured Ignatius needed a voice of enthusiasm. xD ))

((LOL thats fine, even if it wasnt, I dont think I want to argue with a dragon about wether or not he is allowed to come or not. XD))
Valiant looked up and smiled at his grandfather and father "im goinjg to get myself a drink, anyone want aything?" He asked as he got up, poceting the phone.
Kim looked up and smiled at his grandson "I will take a bottle of fanta please and anything chocolatey you might find out there" he said as he snuggled with his son.
"Im fine" his brother and father said in unison before his father piped up again after a few moments "actually, I might go for a packet of sour cream and chive chips if there are any out there." He said to his son as his son nodded and walked off to get what his family wanted, wondering now what he wanted himself, whatever there was out there he would find something, he was sure.

"We can sit near the fire," Mel was saying as he walked arm-in-arm with Ignatius, "I know how you prefer its warmth."
In a low voice, the firecat offered wryly, "I thought you wanted me to mingle."
"Shall I dump you in someone's lap?" the dragon smirked a reply.
They found a nice seat by the fireplace. That is to say, Iggy curled up in front of the fire on the floor, and Mel sat there as well, leaning against the legs of a couch, yawning.

Valiant walked back in with a tray of food and drinks fr those who wanted it, not having eally enough hands to carry it all out at once and didnt wish to make a couple of trips. He noticed a couple of new figures in the store now, a demon...? No it was more like a dragon, he had been around drake enoug to know what a dragon looked like.
He carried on to hisfamily, putting the tray down on the table and smiled at the others "there you go" he said to the others, handing his brother a bottle of sprite. "I knew you would want this, you always say you dont want anything and then go out and get something a minute later" he said as he sat down, picking up a package of cookies he found, opened them and took one out and started nibbling on it.
"Thanks sweetheart" Kim said to his grandson as he lent over and picked up the king sized block of chocolate his son had found for him, ripping it open he broke off a peice and started to nibble on it.
Amon picked up his chips, opened them and started nibbling "so who were you looking at when you came back in?" He asked his son, havin noticed he was looking at someone.
"It was a dragon and a fire colored cat down by the fire, the cat didnt exactly strike me as anything unusual it was just that he had a dragon with him. I thought Drake was the only dragon around here but it seems that there is another one also now, I wonder if Drake knows" he said softly so the two by the fire couldnt hear.
It was impolite to talk about others behind their back, good or bad things, besides it wasnt like he was willing to make the dragon mad, he didnt want to be on the reciving end of the dragons wrath.
Fire cat? That would have to be Ignatius he thought to himself, someone who he hadnt seen in a long time "the fire cat" he said as he looked over quickly and then back again. Kim wanted to make sure yet wasnt wanting to look like he was spying on the others or anything "would be the cat alpha, he helped me after I was...well you know."
He said wthout finishing the sentence, knowing they knew what he meant, finishing his bit of chocolate and sitting back agiesnt his son, watching Am take a sip of his drink before getting up.
"Well then, we should invite him over, no use having him over there and we not being able to thank him properly for what he did" he said as he started over to the others.
"Amadeus, dont! Come back here!" His father hissed, knowing the fox/coon/angel wouldnt and so he just settled down agiesnt his father "I see he gets that off me" he sighed as he sweatdropped a little.
Amadeus smiled at the others as he approched "excuse me, are you Ignatius?" He asked the fire cat politely, obviously ignoring his fathers plight.

Approached already? Both anthros heard the approaching footsteps, though Mel was certain that it was Ignatius would be the one addressed before him. Duh, alpha cat, right? Little did he know that he had been the first one anyone had noticed.
Ignatius watched the hybrid approach, not recognizing him at all. Someone's child perhaps? But there was something vulpine about him, which put him on edge - knowing full well that to be so was completely unfair, but unable to prevent it given his current state of mind. Beside him he felt Mel tense, ready to defend him if need be. But the firecat straightened himself up, then rose to his feet all in one liquid motion. "Yes. And you are?" he asked, actually very curious.
((Guh, I half expected - or at least envisioned - a short conversation that went like, "Ooh, another dragon just like Drake! Let's play matchmaker!" And of course, following that, the catastrophe that might follow. Though I think our previous rp of the two was OOC. ^^; ))

((LOL I want to rp Drake and Mel sometime properly, I think it would be fun...in a catastrophe kind or way. XD
But as much as dragon babehs would be adorable, Drake is spoken for at the moment, he loves this wolf but Ryugen (sp) hasnt been around in months so I am not even sure whats going on between them. So even if I wanted to try and hook them up together I cant since technically hes still with her wolf.))
"My name is, Amadeus, I am the son of Amon-Ra and Yue, I have come to ask if you would care to join my family and I" he said smiling at the cat, ignoring the dragon for the time being. "I think there is a certain member of my family whom you might just wish to see, he is my grandfather and speeks rather highly of you" he said to the other, not wishing to give surprise away just yet.

(( Um, no... you misunderstand me I think. I wasn't proposing kids. O_o;;; I was, in fact, proposing damn near the opposite. ))
None of the names rang a bell, though Amon-Ra, the Ancient Egyptian god, was something he knew about. Dubious, for having recognized the different breeds in this lad, he knew of no angels, coons, or foxes off the top of his head that might know him. "I'm sorry, I don't recognize those names."
Beside him, Mel remained on the floor. Obviously he was forgotten, but that did not stop him from reaching up with one long leg and making a good shove at the firecat's rear. "Go. Make friends," he grinned, sticking his tongue out as Ignatius turned to glare down at him.
"Very well... but my friend here comes too. He's too dangerous to leave alone."
Snickering, the dragon slipped to his feet and brushed off the pinstripe slacks he wore. "My job here is to serve you My Liege," he bowed mockingly, before straightening up to eye the boy critically. "Spawn of the Sun of the West and the Moon of the East, eh? Intriguing."
Beside Mel, Ignatius raised a brow, a little impressed despite himself.

((No, I was meaning the way I was looking at things, I know you were meaning the opposite, I was thinking kids, even if they WERE good together or whatever, I was, admitedly, thinking how cute they would be BUT hence the situation with Drake.
Though, ignore me, for the past three days I have gotten several breedings from other stores so I have been thinking of children non stop concidering. XD;
It was more of a IF they were good together would could they have a relationship? Sort of thing with me, but as stated, thats basically because I have breedings on the brain so ignore me. ^^; ))
"I dont mind if he comes, I dont think my grandfather will either, it will be mostly you he will wish t see anyway" he said to the fire cat as he turned and started heading back towards his family. Of course he didnt mean anything to the dragon, he knew his grandfather wouldnt ignore the dragon but still, it was the fire cat he would want to see more then some stranger.
"I guess you could say that" he said to the dragons comment, looking up and smiling at his mother.
Amon-Ra had gotten up as he had been over hearing hisson talk to the others and walked around to meet them as they came back, keeping an eye on his father.
Kim stayed where he was nibbling chocolate, pleased to just be in one part of the room, with chocolate, and with family, which was mking him happy right now.

"Well he's a rather friendly lad," Mel said sarcastically, rolling his eyes.
They saw Amon stand up and Ignatius did not really recognize him. Were he a more impatient individual he would have started thinking this was a waste of time. But something was going on, and this was enough to keep him curious - as well as a dragon at his back.
Then, he saw Kimaris, who was pointedly ignoring them. Was this then, his family? Adopted perhaps. He eyes fell back on Amon-Ra, who had come to greet them.
"Isn't this all a bit formal?" Mel said, pointedly eying Amon-Ra.
"Perhaps," the Alpha cat admitted.

((Thank you. Adorable ponys they be to, I just now need to think up names for my four japanese themed (which wasnt exactly meant to end up that way but did XD) foals. XD))
"Perhaps but do you think we want to ruin the surprise?" He said turned around and smiling and winking at the cat as he reached his mother "mother, meet the alpha cat, Ignatius, Ignatius, my mother Amon-Ra." He said introducing them both before looking at his brother "and that is my brother, Valiant" he said once more as he introduced his brother and the alpha cat.
Valient looked up and smiled at the other "pleased to meet you sir" he said politely, showing respect even though this cat wasnt his pack leader he still knew he should show respect to the elders around here.
"It's a pleasure to meet you sir" he said politely and respectfully, just as his father had taught him to do, if there was one thing his father was strict on when he was growing up, it was manners.
Amadeus moved around to the sofa his grandfather was on and grabed his arm "come on grandfather, its best to not keep the alpha cat waiting "he said as he finally got his grandfather to stand. "AndI dont really think I need to introduce him do I?" He said smiling up at his grandfather who had two peices of chocolate sticking out of his mouth, one part in his mouth as he turned to look at the alpha cat.
Kim broke off the two peices of chocolate and swollowed the peice in his mouth "its been a while" he said to the alpha cat "its good to see you again" he said smiling at the cat.

Surprise? For whom? Ignatius wondered. Kim did not seem surprised in the slightest. Just... eating... he noticed with some bit of embarrassment. Then... he wondered... if Kimaris had told them of his promise. Willing his ears forward instead of pressed back in agitation, he smiled at the demon's rather... expanded family, as each was introduced to him.
To Kim he nodded as well. "Yes it has," he returned, with equal formality to what had been addressed to him. "It appears that time has treated you well," he commented lightly.
Mel watched the proceedings with amusement. So this was the fabled Kimaris? He had always expected a much... warmer... reunion, not one filled with formality and, from Kim, distraction. If it could be called that.

As if Kim was one to stay s formal? He hated being so formal unless he REALLY needed to and this totally wasnt one of the times. He went back to his old self and bounded towards the cat and wraped his arms around him and hugged him "oh how I have missed you" he said happily, murring softly a little.
"Im sorry for the formality, I guess I just wasnt expecting you to be here thats all, its been so long as stated" he said as he let go of the other. "And yes, life has been well for me and its all thanks to reciving mon as a baby and finding my mate a day before" he said happily to the alpha cat.
"And so, father decides to act like his old self, better late then never I guess" he chuckled as he sat down on the sofa, taking a bit of chocolate and nibbling on it.
Amadeus sat down next to his brother again, picked up his drink and took a sip from it, pleased that his grandfather could see his old friend again.

The firecat almost yowled in surprise as Kimaris flung himself at him. He was more than happy to return the hug, smiling, as Kim spoke. Ignatius nodded in agreement. "I really don't know how long it's been, but it seems to me that it's been too long."
He was not really sure how to take all this, finding a son after finding a mate... it was as if he had gone to the store, or perhaps that he had lost them and again they were found. It was an amusing situation at the very least, but he was just happy that Kimaris had so much going for him and that he had left his past where it belonged.
He glanced at Mel, that last thought striking him soundly. Had it been long enough for him to move on? "I'm just glad things are going so well for you, Kim."
Oh good, things were falling into place. Mel suddenly felt the need to sit down. And the fireplace was now so far away... The dragon shrugged and found a chair nearby where he could both relax and keep an eye on his friend.
