Knock. Knock. Knock Nara narrowed her eyes at the door and rubbed her hands together. They had gotten a tip, an anonymous one, about a second scroll resurfacing to the family.
And by the itching in her hands it was definately true. Combine that with the buzz of Akki as well and it was, well... definately uncomfortable.

Akki ran around playfully between his room and the living room in with a blue bathroom towel held to his back, pretending to be some super hero. Kris on the other hand was merely laughing, he was openning up rather well and was somewhat friendly, although he had his spirts. She sat in one of the chairs staring at the scroll on the shelf, she sighed and stood up as the doorbell rang. Walking to the door she turned the knob and wasn't half surprised to see Nara standing there. She seemed a little anxious waiting on Kris to appear.
"Hello again, it's nice to see you Nara. 'N yes, I've found myself with another scroll. Here, come in..would you like anything?"
She smiled and stepped aside allowing the woman passing. Meanwhile Akki had stopped, looking to see who had rang the bell. She seemed familiar, but yet someone he'd never seen before. He watched the two women talking as he assumed a comfortable position in the chair Kris had left from.

Nara smiled, a tad nervously when she saw the kid. God she hoped no one would ever saddle her with one. "No thank you, I'd rather get this done quickly. After though.." After it wouldn't itch so darn bad!
Stepping through the doorway, invited or not, Nara smiled again at the woman keeping well clear of Akki. "Do you remember what you need to do?" Came the question.

"Yes, I remember opening Akki's scroll, we were in a triangle correct?"
It hadn't been all that long since their first meeting, the memory of the event swirled in and out of her mind every so often, perhaps trying to keep up with her daily life. Shifting to a more open area of the house, the almost exact area that Akki had been...well....born? The young woman smiled briefly towards the small orange haired boy who then went on with playing super hero.
'I wonder what this one looks like...'
Kris' pale eyes watched as the boy disappeared into the sets of bedrooms behind the two women. He seemed rather content in his own play at the moment, making everything easier for what was about to come. Something though, she kept veering her eyes in another direction, watching Nara's hands shift. For a moment she wondered why, but it wasn't her business really. Knowing well enough that her business was her's just like Nara's was her own she kept her mouth shut and kept with positioning herself into the "triangle position, her hands wrapped around the scroll's top.
"I'm ready when you are."
She said, keeping her hands ready on the scroll.

The relic nodded. "Yeah, it takes three people to generate enough energy and a triangle seems the most stable shape," she said, not meantioning the times they had tried to unseal a scroll with Dr. Smith.
She took a deep breath, almost of relief, when the kid left the room. Good, no pestering by the squirt. The two stepped into place along with Kris and the whole fireworks display started.
This time though, Nara's hands were still in her pockets so it looked like the green mist was coming out of the jeans she wore. It wrapped around them, obscuring their sight of what was happening. With a heavy thud the mist suddenly dissapeared. Not, as last time, because the children had appeared but because Nara had passed out.
Instead, there was a swirling golden light, dim enough not to be seen through the mist, that coalesced into two young boys. The identical twins suddenly dropped to the ground with a soft thud. ((I need to switch the file to this comp, cause my other has sporatic access))

Kris' eyebrow twitched with the sight of twins. Knowing full well these two would not only be a handle but be a new play toy for their dear brother the young woman eyed the two, wondering just where to put them.
"Wow, I didn't know you could get twins out of those things..."
An uneven chuckle came from within the woman's voice. Her eyes were still glued to the children, she hadn't even moved them about to see if Akki was around of what Nara was doing. Kris was in her own little world, not taking note on anything else around her, for the simple fact that now when she had wanted no children, she had three. Three new additions to the household that used to be so simple, then again as she knew well, life was never simple....not for long at least.
Akki stood back, he had heard the thud of the twins and had noticed the odd color coming from the other room at first. He was struck by a akward connection, and while he didn't understand it he was in awe at the entire moment. His small body stood in the doorway of his new room, bath towel in hand he didn't move so as not to be noticed.
'Ohhh...'
The young child thought scratching the mop of redish orange hair that sat on his head. Dull as his eyes normally were they seemed to lighten at the whole idea of having someone else to play with, yet he didn't draw closer, attempting to be good and stay back until called upon by Kris.

Blearly Nara opened her eyes. "Ohhhph..." She blinked at the celing a moment before realizing that a dark covered face was blocking her view. Smiling at her partner, the woman accepted his hand up from the floor, leaning on him for support.
Her jaw dropped at the sight of the two boys. "Twins!?" The relic nearly fainted again from the shock. "But thats impossible!"

"It's never happened before?"
She began eyeballing the two young boys as her other son, Akki, started to take a interest in the blonde boys. He had slowly made his way over from behind Kris to end up sitting next to the smaller one of the twins, smiling and watching him look blankly at him. Maybe there was some connection between all her boys, 'her boys', the whole thing echoed through her head. That was right, these three were now her's to take care of, to clothe and feed. Laughing unsuredly Kris looked over at Nara and the strange man who had helped her up, she'd been so intent on the new developments on her floor she hadn't seen the other woman fall at all.
"So I guess these two are just a little special right?"
She looked over quickly to Akki who was now poking the smaller of the two new boys whom had his beautiful sparkling grey eyes welling up with tears. The young woman went over to her sons, shoo'ing Akki's small hand away from the tearing boy she lifted him into her arms and rocked him lightly. The small boy's twin looked to Kris as his lips trembled and tears began filling his eyes. She had expected a handful, now having three children to look after, but this was going to be far more than she had expected. Letting out a tiny sigh, almost silent Kris bent over and lifted the larger of the twin boys into her other arm with Akki still sitting next to her leg holding on loosely.

Nara shook her head at the first question, staring bemusedly at the twins. A nod followed the second before a brief flash of brilliance entered the womans mind.
"Ah," Nara grabbed a card and a pen from her pocket, hurridly writing down a name and addresss. "This is for a woman named Alera. She's another parent with more than one scroll child," Nara stated, handing the card over.
Her partner still had his hands supporting her, and after a moment Nara swatted at them. Giving a heavy sigh she turned back to Kris and the kids. "Is..there anything else you need? I know they're going to be expensive but the Library has some funds you can use..."

Smiling politely Kris shook her head and took the card happily examining it for a moment.
"Um, no I think I've got everything handled for now. As for funds, they'll be expensive but I know I'll have the funds to support them...if anything comes up I'll give you guys a heads up."
She slipped the card into her pocket carefully while still holding the boys. Akki was unsure of what was going on and had a confused look upon his face, confused but still managing to muster up a nice innocent smile.
"Thank you."
