I don't know if this belongs here but I've figured that if you're into foreign languages you're obviously into foreign culture and stuff. I've also seen some threads about the UN. So I decided to give it a shot. There's a new Guild called " GD's United Nations" Here's the link http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/index.php?gmode=index&guild_id=44429You basically pick a country you'd like to represent and join. You have to know a bit about your country before you join though. Here are some of the already taken country Taken- Mauritius [[ lol, thats me]] Nigeria Rwanda China Israel Korea Malaysia Qatar Singapore France Germany[east] Germany[west] (( apparently two people wanted Germany lol)) Greece Ireland Poland Romania Switzerland Canada Puerto Rico USA Trinidad and Tobago Pending- Venezuela India Australia Iran Well... You guys are cool so it'd be cool if you'd join. :]

I'd be tempted to join as Norway, but any guild with an entry fee is a guild I will never join. whee It looks very interesting though. Peurto Rico is a country?

They vote every now and then to decide whether or not to become a state, and they've always voted a strong NO. At least, that's according to a friend of mine. I certainly know they're not a state. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puerto_ricoI learned in Spanish this past year that they do use $USD as their official currency, and they get unrestricted (as though citizens) flight to NYC, thus, PR and the US keep business close. Seems to work pretty well.

Oh, so YOU'RE the reason I was declined to join, SolstDerTod! I applied for Russia as well and was just denied because apparently somebody had already taken it. gonk
Being that Russia is the only country I'd be willing to represent, I guess I'll not join after all. mad D
