For all those artists who get sick of trying to advertise themselves, this forum is for you! Here you post yourself as a contributing artist and you won't have to construct your own thread or hire a bumper. Please read the rules and follow the application guidlines, otherwise we may have troubles adding you to the list.

Rules: Must Read!
1. Follow all Gaia regulations and TOS.
2. Follow all Forum rules, if you haven't read these by now then Shame On You!
3. No harassing anyone! This includes prospective clients; don't pressure anyone into a sale they don't want.
4. Please do not say the 'N' word and the 'C' word. If you don't know what these are then just try not to say anything offensive to anyone.
5. Be honest! Anyone found cheating or lying (aka, using someone else's work as an example instead of your own) will be banned from the thread and reported to the Guild Admins.
6. Any commissions done by an artist are available to use only on Gaia unless you get that artist's specific permission. This includes MySpace!! If you want to use the art somewhere else just ask, usually it's not a problem.
7. Do not copy, duplicate, claim, or otherwise steal anybody's art work. My mother is a lawyer and I will be happy to consult with anyone who has found their work stolen. Please just PM me. Thanks.
8. Do not take more than a month on your artwork. If a customer reports to me that you have not completed your piece within this time then you will be removed from the list. This is to give your customers a sense of peace by knowing that they will not need to wait a year to get thier art.
9. Do not bite more than you can chew; If you know that it takes you 1 week to complete a piece then only take on 4 comissions at a time. If someone requests art from you and you know you cannot have it done within a month then please, politely decline and ask them to pm you again later.
10. Report any violations, harrasment, and payment disputes to me or the Thread Mods. I may not be able to do a lot about the situation, but I can ban them from the thread and report them to the Guild Admins.

Here is where we will hold contests and lotteries. Sometimes there will be the occasional art treat that you can save and use on Gaia (Usually some sort of candy or desert that you can add to your siggy if you want!) ART CONTEST! Win a Sun Staff! - Over No one submitted anything, so instead I'm doing a lotto for the Sun Staff. Check it out HERE. Since the DTTPAY forum is so great I was able to complete my avi last week which I'm entering into the arena for next week, now I have some items to give away! The subject is "Caesg" which was what my avi was about. (P.S. A vote for me next week would be appreciated smile )
A Caesg is a Celtic merperson. These creatures sport a Trout or Salmon-like tail. They guard rivers, seas, oceans and the wildlife therin. Caesg are said to have been Old Pagan Witches who have died and been reincarnated to this form. This Caesg is Albino, a rare genetic disorder in fish that causes them to have no pigment. The Caesg you submit does NOT have to be modelled after this one. Do what you feel is most creative!
You may draw, write, sculpt, or film/photograph anything related to this theme. I will then choose the top ten pieces and the public will be allowed to vote on the winner. The winner will recieve a Sun Staff. I know it's not much, but the thread is small for now. Later, when this thread is more popular, we will have larger contests. The due date for all submissions is Aug 10th. Submissions will be judged on Aug 11-12 and will be up for voting between Aug 13 and Aug 20. The winner will be awarded on the Aug 21-22 (depends on what day I sign on).When you're finished with your contest piece just place a link to it here in the forums. Need Thread Mods, please send me a PM with 200 words or more of why you think you would be good for the job. We need honest and kind people who are on at least once per week.
Need 2 thread Bumpers. This is an easy job. You will be paid 3g per bump, only 21 bumps per week (7 bumps on 3 different days). To apply please send me a pm stating how often you are on and references if you have them.
