Pink-tinted irises could eb seen under heavy, bored lids of a female by the base of a gangly willow tree. She laid there with her paws crossed, her maw on said appendage. The day was cloudy, but still rather warm. It was humid, and it annoyed the wolf under the tree. She was waiting for an inevitable sun shower or thunderstorm, and for the inevitable night.
This was where she pretty much spent her time. Under a willow tree, watching the days roll by.
Felicie wasn't much of a socialite. After growing up primarily by herself and away from others, the gray and pink colored wolf was sure that she could survive well on her own. This should've been a welcome mat for a stubborn and rude attitude, but if one were to approach her, it'd be quite the opposite. But nobody really ever did that.
Yawning, the wolf began to pull herself off of the ground, blinking hard to wipe away the tired feeling that drained her body.

Phoenix wagged his tail as he made his way through the forest. It's what he did pretty much everyday. Wander through the woods, looking for new things he could use to make into new and more interesting fireworks. It was his job after all.
As he made he way out of the woods he spotted a giant, and very gangly, willow tree. "That looks like a good place to rest for a little while." As he got closer to the tree he noticed something grey and purple moving beneath it. 'Another wolf? Way out here?' He thought to himself as he stood still, gazing.
Standing and moving yet closer, Phoenix saw that was that it was a female wolf. Stopping yet again he sat down to talk to the she wolf. "Why hello there pretty lady. How are you today?" He said with a grin.

She had first thought her nose had been playing tricks on her, as in the air the scent of another wolf was present. But at the sight of the red wolf, Felicie's eyes widened and her ears perked up, not used to another being near this particular willow tree. She took a step back and her ears began to flatten against her head. Felicie's eyes narrowed slightly, unsure of why someone would come and talk to her.
At the words "pretty lady", she could eliminate the possibility he was a threat, but she had heard of flirts... Best to have a defense up. She kept a wary eye on the brightly colored male, and cleared her throat. She spoke in a very sofy voice, "Umm, p-pretty good..." Felicie trailed off, sitting down. She craned her neck forward curiously, inspecting the wolf. She was curious, but she didn't want to make it too obvious, so she withdrew and looked away. However, her purple/pink eyes were watching him, "Y-you are...?"

Phoenix stayed where he was, he didn't want to startle her. He watched as she looked at him, craning her neck. 'She seems a bit curious...or maybe not. Could just be my odd colors.' He thought to himself remembering odd looks he has gotten from other wolves before. Hence why he usually wanders on his own to avoid those looks. She turned away, but he still saw a hint of her pink tinted eyes looking back at him, and he thumped his tail happily. "Oh, I'm Phoenix by the way." He said nodding his head slightly, his tail still thumping away. "And such a beautiful wolf as yourself must have an enchanting name." He said with a playful smile across his maw as he tried to lighten the mood.

Felicie's eyes fell to his tail, watching it thump. Hers stayed still, but she was beginning to think that he probably wasn't a threat. However, she should still be cautious. She turned her ehad to look at him to at least show some kind of respect. She nodded at his name, which in a way made sense. He was brightly colored, which was what Felicie always assumed an actual phoenix would look like.
But his next choice of words, Felicie was quick to turn her head again and only look a him out of the corner of her eyes. She saw the playful smile, and she inwardly elt out a sigh of relief. So it was jus playing around, nothing that a creepy predator would say...
"M-My name's Felicie," She stuttered quietly, turning to look back at him. Her eyes trailed away breifly before looking back at him, "Umm, p-pleasure to meet you?" She tilted her head, wondering if that was the correct woding. She hadn't spoken nor met may wolves, so she never really had to be polite to anyone (even if it was in hr quiet nature).

Phoenix cocked his head to the side, slightly confused with her politeness. 'She seems nice though.' He thought to himself as he slowed the thumping of his tail to a gradual stop. With his tail ceasing to move she slowly stood up and stretched his legs slightly. He had been wandering for a long time, as he was headed back to the Sacred Tree. He couldn't remember the exact date of the festival at the moment, which was odd for him, but he knew it would be coming up shortly. It was also time for him to check in with Trent.
"Felicie?" He said her name as he thought a few moments. "What a beautiful name." He smiled and took a few slight steps towards her. "What are you doing out here all by yourself?" He asked curiously as he glanced around. He hadn't seen or smelled any wolves as he had made his way through, only her.

Once again, his choice of words caused the female wolf to raise brows. She turned her head away again as she forced her tail not to thump, as the compliment obviously was well, nice. Felicie's light eyes were quick to look at his feet as he advanced a few steps, but she sat still, waching. He was appearing to at least be a wanderer, and not one lost from their pack. However, if he was a bored wanderer, she knew she'd prove to be of little entertainment.
"T-Thanks," She murmered before standing up, her legs beginning to cramp for laying and sitting around forthe past few days, only getting up for a little hunting. She tilted her head as she studied him, curious as to if it would hard to say that she had no pack to stad by and the only shelter she really had was the gangly willow. "I just h-hang around here, getting a good nap in," She explained, forcing a yawn to emphasize that reason.

Phoenix thought for a moment trying to remember where he had wandered to. He had left the Abar-eadhain woods over a month before keeping to the wooded areas before heading over here to Planta Grove. He had spent a week slowly wandering the woods gathering things for the festival. Every little thing he could scrounge up for the fireworks. He had been planning a day of rest before making a run for the Neimh river then finally back home.
But...there had been a change in plans. A beautiful wolf named Felicie. He stretched his front legs out a little more, swooshing his white tail. "Well this is a beautiful place to hang around in and relax Felicie." He said with a smile as he gazed around. The trees here were different then the one back home. They were brighter and more mystical in some way. It had always been the best spot to gather festival supplies.

Pride filled the female wolf at his comment, meaning that she had found at least a likeable place to spend her days. She watched him, not turning her hea away this time. So this wolf couldn't be that bad, she told herself. She tried to not to appear too curious, but her tail lifted and hit the ground in light thumps every now and then. "So what're y-you travling around for? I don't recognize you from around here," She inquired, tilting her head, ears perked. Then again, she didn't recognize many from this area. Many came and went, never really bothering to approach her.

Phoenix thought to himself for a moment. 'How many times have a been through here?' He had wandered through this area a few times before he joined the pack. At least one other time since he joined, so possibly his third time. Though each time he had only been in the forest for a few days, and never really saw anyone. "Well, I've been to this grove a few times when I use to be on my own. Now I am here gathering materials for my packs festival. Mr. Mistoffelees and me are in charge of the fireworks for the festival. I find the best stuff in this forest." He said with a smile on his face as he thought of the fireworks, and how great they would be.

She tilted her head curiously, her ears perking more. He was apart of a pack? Well, that explained it. She was disappointed, as she was hoping to have met another loner. She didn't belong to any specific pack, as she believed it'd be awkward for her to move into such a social life. But it seemed to fit Phoenix well. He seemed to be very social, and his colors almost screamed it.
"A festival? What is it for?" She inquired curiously. Fireworks? Those big booms in the sky? Wolves could make those? He surely ahd her attention now.

Phoenix looked at her curiously for a moment. "What for? For the Goddess of course!" He exclaimed with a wide grin on his face. "The original pack was killed off, save for our Alpha. She visited him, and told him to rebuild the pack, and here we are. He's rebuilding the pack and I hopped on. Gotta have someone to make the fireworks now don't we?" He asked with a sly smile and a few wags of his tail. "Don't you have a pack?" He asked curiously as he sat down.

The Goddess...? Felicie gave him an odd look, listening to this bizarre tale. But well, if there was a pack because of it, she supposed it must've had some grounds. As the question was turned to her, a sigh escaped her throat and she glanced away, her once thumping tail coming to a halt. Was being in a pack so common?
"Mmmm, n-no," she said quietly rolling her eyes back to him, "I'm a loner, I guess you'd say."

"Really?" Phoenix asked curiously. He had been a loner once, not to long ago. It had been ok, but the lone life did not suit him. Sure he could hunt and find plenty of food for himself on his own, but the company of pack from time to time was what he longed for. With Trent and the pack that's what he got. He still kept his beloved freedom, but got the company of pack when he went home. "Well, the life of a lone wolf can still be fun." He said nodding his head.
