This thread is for disscussing Ranma 1/2. Quote: Martial Arts students Ranma Saotome and Akane Tendo have been arranged to be married against their will. To make matters worse, after Martial Arts training at the Magical Springs in China, his father is cursed to change into a Panda and he`s cursed to change into a beautiful buxom female whenever doused in cold water.

Yeah, but it's really funny, because of his cheap-rip-off father he's also engaged to a handfull other woman! How will all of it work out? Not to mention he's desired by BOTH Kuno and his sister!

Of course if he was a genious Ranma 1/2 would be a story about a regular boy doing regular things......

I don't think Ranma would be completely normal, I think he'd still know martial arts, which is supposed to be unusual for a boy like him. He definatly wouldn't be able to turn into a girl though.

Yeah, but it wouldn't nearly be as funny or popular...... I like all the TG in it. Without it I really wouldn't have taken the time to watch it....

Um, how do you know how it end, volume 36 doesn't entirely have a clear ending. Although Takahashi has stated who Ranma ends up with, it's not really in the manga.
*shrugs* Despite who he's supposed to end up with I personally liked Ukyo.
I write a bunch of Ranma 1/2 fanfics myself too.

I write a bunch of Ranma 1/2 fanfics myself too. I've read the official manga called Ranmas Wedding. [Spoiler> He marries Akane although it gets crashed but he still marries her.I'm not sure what its really called or what they say.... It was in Japanese....
