With the return of road warrior animal to wrestling at this years Slammiversry. Well, do you think he should have? or packed it in?

Discuss: Wrestlers you think should pack it in and call it a day

Shawn michels should hang it up in my opinion. I mean yeah hes great but your only as good as your last match. But i don't see it happening as long as there are old my-chest-looks-like-boobs guys like flair around

I hate the idea of road warrior on TNA. especially after they had him do the solo heel thing in wwe

well I've seen lots of wrestler retire and come back in years later but it's up to them if they want to wrestle or not

I think it's good to see some of the older guys with their gimmicks and all but Ric and Shawn should call it quits before something overly bad happens to them, like losing an arm. (Okay, not that bad, you get my drift.)

Hey, Animal's not that bad really, he's on TNA now, so he'll actually get to do something.

i think Ric Flair should retire.hes gettin pretty old lol

gonna have to agree w/ the masses and ask Ric to hang up the robe and boots....he was an awesome wrestler in his day, and yes, he does still put on a hell of a show...but you can see a difference, and i would rather see him retire now, while he is still very much respected, than to keep on wrestling and risk embarassing himself by trying to keep up with the "youngsters" so to speak

dont get me wrong- i do love Flair, and i will hate to see him go, but i think it is just not his time anymore

The crowd always yells "WOOOO" any time any wrestler uses a chop, so I think it's safe to say that Flair's made his mark on the industry and can hang up his boots without fear of fans forgetting about him.

And considering how much they still yell "What?", I'll be counting the years until they finally stop saying "WOOO" once he's gone...which probably won't even be in my lifetime....but I'm still gonna count.

thats very true...in fact, my brothers, sister, my daughter and i have a new "family tradition" ...when we're at mom's waiting to eat on sundays, or other times when we get together, we try to catch each other off guard with Flair chops....even yelling "WOOOO" doesnt give them enough time to brace for it....it is awesome!!!

Flair will always be loved, admired and respected, but he needs to "pass the torch" for good

Rumor has it he's supposed to retire at WM 24, Yet I don't think it's been confirmed.

Hey what about Dusty? He doesn't wrestle all that much, but still.

I'll be honest, there are a few wrestlers out there that I would like to see retire for good with their good name in tact, but in truth, wrestling is their lives. It's all they have, and it's the most important thing in their lives besides their wives, husbands, and children.

Asking a long term, dedicated wrestler to retire is like asking to give up a part of his or her life. I'm probably sounding a bit dramatic, but you see it all the time; wrestlers who haven't wrestled in a number of years suddenly make short comebacks, but then leave again only to return a few months later, and so on and so forth.

People like Hulk Hogan, Mick Foley, Ric Flair, Austin, Shawn, Undertaker, and more will never be able to leave the wrestling world for good in an instant. They always come back in some shape or form.

i think ric flair should retire i mean he is as old as hulk hogan so ric flair should quit while he is ahead

Flair is older than Hogan and I agree that he should personaly I am scared that he will have heart failure in the middle of a match. Also as much as I love Hulk Hogan (Hulkamaniac since 84 , worn the yellow wrist band Livestrong ripoff since the day it came out and have never taken it off) I think he needs to retire from active duty. But I would love to see him be gm or something similar.
