Personality: Innocent and bright, Tai acts like a fairy. Trouble follows her like a loyal hound, helped by her innate clumsiness. She appears unused to her body, or how gentle her skin is and constantly reaches for things blindly only to find herself unable to hold them. That doesn’t stop her from reaching again. Her heart is worn proudly on her sleeve, beating boldly for all to see, and because of such she is easy to cry. The smallest scrap causes great pain, but that never stops her from rushing face first into anything. A harsh word or the wrong look scraps her soul the way a cat’s tongue scrapes her skin. She can’t stand to be hated, especially by those she deemed ready for her love. She gives her love and affections easily, a natural flirt. She wants to be friends with everyone and it is hard to convince to go away once she decides to stay. Tai is a stubborn little girl with a bright smile and a winning puppy dog look. And the young Sylph knows how to use both.

Often she can be found wearing baggy jeans(denium only minorly bothers her) and t-shirt with a sweat shirt over it. When she completes the look with a baseball cap or benie she is sometimes mistaken for a boy. Otherwise she'll be found in hre tie-dye dress that she loves to wear. too bad it's too casual to wear out.

OOC! Notes: Tai’s name is a combo name. Meaning someone in America decided that instead of naming her daughter Tai or Lynn she named her Tailynn, which means Tai’s meaning is “Person from Thailand” and Lynn is “From the Lake”. Now clearly from the lake is the better definition for Tai but she isn’t Lynn, she’s Tai, so I’m mismatching the meaning and the names, gotta deal with it. XD

Personality: Melvin is a mouse. In the simplest terms, in the easiest definition, he’s a mouse. His mother rules his life with a firm hand and stern expectations. Melvin natural isn’t a rebel. He doesn’t like kicking up dust and getting people’s attention for doing bad things. If left to his own devices maybe he would have learned how to slowly but surely turn a situation into working for him without alienating anyone, but he wasn’t left to his own devices. He was raised by his mother. And his mother taught him how to change himself, to fit the situatation. Sadly, Melvin wasn’t very good at this, which meant one things. He always felt out of place. He didn’t feel strong and assured like his peers, willing to scorn anyone without money, and lots of it. If anything he was interested in how average people just lived, since he never did, but that was wrong, what he liked was wrong, what he did was wrong, what he believed was wrong. Melvin grew up wrong, and awkward and, ironically, poor. He was poor in love. Melvin didn’t know love, not really and though he read Shakespeare and Wordsworth, he couldn’t know it. Till he felt it himself.

Style: Melvin is always seen sporting his round rim glasses, he’s blind without them. He also wears more ‘geeky’ outfits. He wears collared shirts tucked into slacks that lead to shined shoes. His hair is always neatly combed and he never looks a mess or has a bad that. That would be a reflection on his family and he can’t allow that. Normally Melvin is seen lugging a book bag stuffed with books that causes him to hunch a little. He always looks uncomfortable with what he’s wearing.
History: Melvin was a quiet boy. He preferred to spend time in doors with books. He never shielded from homework, or studying. He was an easy target for bullies growing up, often forced to be friends with them during the day, and then bullied after hours.
Melvin grew up rich. And at the age of 15 he is still rich, or more, his family is rich. The Reynolds name is infamous in the upper classes. They have old money, the kind that brings respect, admiration and dominance. No one crossed a Reynolds. Not even a Reynolds himself. Melvin’s mother was a proud cold woman who loved her son very much, but because she worried about spoiling him she covered love with duty, dominance and expectations. And every time Melvin lived up to one of his mother’s expectations there were ten more waiting for him. His last name became an entity, pushing and shoving at him to be better, to be more. He needed a respectful job, to get good grades, to never get in trouble, to get into a good school. He must never mess up, never trip, never stumble. Reynolds don’t make mistakes, but Melvin did.
He made lots of mistakes. He was naturally clumsy, sometimes rushed into discoveries without really researching them, and loved to call out his own thoughts without thinking over them carefully, but that was wrong, and as he grew from a little boy into a young man he forced himself to change. He strived to please his mother, to live up to his last name and all her expectations. Money itself meant little to him, as if often does to those who never done without, and he cared more about being a Reynolds. So he locked up his heart, his desires, and his emotions to please the woman he loved and feared.
Then he found Tai.
IC! Notes: Melvin is suppose to be a wimp, so he’ll probably given in pretty quick, because of this and the fact he lives with his mom Tai and Melvin have more of a sibling relationship than a real father daughter relationship.

Personality: Marion is cold and hard and alone. She loves her son, she really does, but she never really knew how to show it. She was raised in a similar family and never loved her late husband. She wasn’t taught to show love, only discipline. She wanted to instill in her only child the honor and pride of being a Reynolds, but didn’t know properly how. All she cared about was saving the name she married into from dying out. She took great pride in the Reynolds and wanted Melvin to live up to his heritage. She can not tolerate laziness, or slack and often misinterprets playing for waste of time. She denies herself the worldly pleasures and convinces herself she’s happy, she doesn’t understand why the world wont do the same.

Style: Marion prefers formal clothes. She wears ankle length dresses, normally dark blue or black. Her dresses always have a high collar and long sleeves expect in the summer when the sleeves are shortened a little and necks lowered a little, but not a lot. She is normally wearing sensible heals and stockings. The only time she dons something else is when she’s gardening when she wears slacks and a blouse tucked into her pants with a big sun hat covering her head. Normally it’s dresses though.
History: Marion was raised rich, in a similar household to Melvin. She was told to always present herself properly, and lady like. To never be a slob or unseemly. She grew up with only friends hand picked for her by her parents. So it was no surpise that her husband was too. Oh it wasn’t an arranged marriage but at the right age of 19 her parents introduced him, they dated for a few years, and then tied the not. Marion was a beautiful bride, and her husband had mistresses since before the wedding. It didn’t matter to Marion, she didn’t really like him much anyway, but he was good for her and he was a Reynolds. Marion was excited to be a wife, she found she excelled at it, expect for one part. She wasn’t popping out kids. She got pregnant a few times but both were stillborn daughters, and each time she nearly lost her life. She wouldn’t give up though and kept on trying till finally she got pregnant with Melvin. She couldn’t carry him full term and has a cessation at seven months. Melvin spent the next two at the hospital, but lived, and so did Marion, the doctors tied her tubes so she wouldn’t strain herself with more children so Melvin was the only Reynolds to live on. Marion was so happy when she finally brought the next generation into the Reynolds home when…her husband died in a car accident. He was driving drunk with his mistress and flew off the side of the road. He never saw his son out of the hospital. Marion found she didn’t care, and after a few months learned the widowhood suited her much better than being a wife. Now she had no one to answer too, and all the power. Marion enjoyed being the head of the Reynolds clan. Now she just had to make sure it got bigger.
IC! Notes: Marion is a little tragic, and probably wont be RPed much, but she will be an important character in the household.

[Silvia: The Perfect Match]This rich girl despises Melvin but loves the Reynolds name. She likes the history of such old money because hers is so new, her father was born poor. She hates being around Melvin and he knows it, and despises Tai even more but Marion likes Silva and tries to push her and her son together. Silvia therefor normally invites Melvin places but spends the time making the boy miserable, knowing he wont ever deny an invitation even though he hates going where ever she invites him. [Stephen: The Best Friend]Son of the inventor of the teleportation device that sprinkle Gaia, Stephen is the ultimate science nerd. He loves everything sciencey and refuses to acknowledge anything that can’t be proven by science. He tries to dissect all magic with science and dreams of making a popular device like his father. Stephen is the closest thing Melvin has to a friend but didn’t like the shy English tended boy much till he got Tai. Then he became fascinated with the girl and where she came from. So after Tai came around he started to hang around all the time. Too bad Tai doesn't like him and find him creepy. [Corliss: The Night Guard]Corliss is the head butler of the Reynolds home. He is closest to Marion and sometimes they even act like lovers. Corliss is always trying to find ways of driving Tai and her oddness away, and trying to keep Melvin on the track his mother chose for him. Corliss has been working in the Reynolds house since before Melvin’s father’s death. He is, and always has been, more devoted to Mrs. Reynolds than any other Reynolds and will do as much as she will, and maybe more, to protect the family name that will never be his. [Alice: The Servant]Alice is the only one in the Reynolds household to like Tai. The daughter of the maid had tired to bond with Melvin growing up but his mother always disapproved. She is everything Melvin isn’t, sure footed, confident, poor and loving. When Tai popped up Alice got to spend more time with the pair. Tai loves the girl who seems to understand her and always does her best to help Alice hang out with them as much as they can but it isn't much because as Alice gets older she starting to work for Mrs. Reynolds too. [Ms. Sterling: The Tutor]Ms. Sterling is an older woman with a straight spine and hard eyes. She was recomended to Mrs. Reynolds because of her strict additude and because she was a stickler on manners. Though technically hired to teach Tai all she is suppose to learn at school both women believe Tai needs to learn her manners first. It's a shame that Tai honestly doens't see the point in manners. Ms. Sterling will spend school day with Tai, teaching her what she believes the young Sylph needs to know.

 Tai: He was so nice and kind. He watched me even though he didn't have to and he answered all my questions, he's the very best! I can't wait till we can see him again! He also told me about his guardian, I'd like to meet him too!
Melvin: He was...alright. Kind of scared me, little bad tempered, I'm glad to be away from him, though Tai likes him, so I suppose we'll be talking more often. His guardian though sounded scary, I hope that we never run into him.
 Tai: He's really fun! And he knows this dragon! The dragon was so very cool. He goes to a special school. I wonder if someday I'll go to a special school. But he says the uniforms are itchy so I don't wanna go. I sure do like him though. He told me what a best friend is.
Melvin: Oh he was nice enough I suppose. Tai sure did like the little boy, which is good. I want her to have lots of friends. Anyway, the dragon...oh I didn't know about that, but Gil's big sister really seemed to have everything under control. I just wish I didn't make a total fool of myself.
 Tai: He has a tail! It's so very cool. I never met anyone with a tail before! We played lots of games and he's so much fun. I really hope I get to see Janus again, he's so very cool. I wonder where his guardian was?
Melvin: Cute kid. I kinda stood off in the background but he seemed really nice with Tai. The tail was odd. Thank god Tai didn't get one, Mother would have never allowed anything like that to be tied with the Reynolds name.

From MelvinBought during a mad shopping trip after the meeting at Divinity. Melvin wanted gifts for his new girl he didn't entirely believe was really going to come. This bracelet grabed Melvin during his shopping trip and so though he had two braclets already, He snagged it. Melvin bought this because he felt everyone deserved a space of thier own to write and if Tai didn't exsit he could always use it. He wrote journal entries a lot. Melvin first bought this purse for Tai but wonders if his mother might like it if Tai doesn't emerge. From DivinityThis cute little plushie was found by Tai at Divinity, yes that's Nikita. Tai just loves it and sleeps with it often at night.

Melvin answered a call and got a little girl. What is he suppose to do now? Tai managed to talk Melvin into costume shopping and now she's ready to beg for candy. Melvin has to admit, she's cute, and she loves her fairy outfit.

  Tai and Melvin live in a sprawling manor. It has three different levels not including the basement, the attic and of course the tower. It’s surrounded by acres of land which have a swimming pool, playground, and a servant house, which is the size of an average home. The house is surrounded by a gate with a windy drive way to the front door. It rests on top of a hill like all truly expensive houses do.The first floor has all the entertaining and guests rooms. There are several guests bedrooms scattered about. The library is on the first floor as is the game room, the living room, the dinning room and the kitchen. The servants entrance is in the kitchen which is near the servants house. There is a TV room, and then an astronomer/science room. Also a room dedicated to music, with a piano and violin and lots of music sheets. [Second Floor]The second floor is for bed rooms. Melvin has three rooms for himself. One is his bedroom, which he spends little time in. At home he spends most of his time in his study or his personal library, both on the second floor. Tai has two rooms, a play room full of dolls and stuffed animals that Melvin bought for her and than her own private room. There are a few more guest rooms and on the other side of the house from Melvin and Tai’s room is Marion’s room and then she has a sitting room near by her room. [Third Floor]~description coming soon~ [Basement]~description coming soon~ [Attic]~description coming soon~ [Tower]~description coming soon~ [Servants Quarters]The two level house has two full baths and six bed rooms. It has it’s own private kitchen, and living room. It is much more sparsely furnished than the main house in comparison seems very cheap. It has several families living there, servants and their kids if they have any. Over all thirteen people live in the six bedroom house. Making for living arrangements to be cramped and often the place is full of bitterness, over work, or each other. The house it self seems to sag with depression, or anoyence, with what it has to put up with.
