Specifically on Bera.
I'm playing again (even though I told myself I wouldn't)... and I'm hoping to have more people to party with then just my friends. If you do join because of me, I'm not afraid to help. If I can round up enough people, I can also start a guild for us. whee
My username on there is Bursting, I'm a level 28 (only 4% away from being 29) Magician. Gonna be a cleric, because all Asians must be clerics apparently. rofl I'm on more often during the weekends.

Well, if you ever played an MMO, it's like that. Unlike most MMOs though, you can customize your character.   Some images. 3nodding Sadly, the REAL customization of your character you have to pay actual cash for... and it expires after 3 months. *sigh~*

I've wanted to get into online gaming since my boyfriend does it. But I don't wanna pay.. he was gonna pay for me, or else we'd play a free game.
He plays Racknorok (sp?), City of Heroes/villians and DOTA.
But I've never done MMO before. I hope you find someone to play with though... do you pay to customize your character?

MMOs have always sounded like fun to me... but I know I'd get too obsessed. XD;; Gaia is as far as I'll go... don't have the money anyway. XP Hope you find someone to play with.

MapleStory is free. If you want to buy custom clothes that go over the regular equipment, THAT costs money. You don't have to do that. I do that because the male mage clothes are retarded and make my character look pregnant. You could make your character to look normal or fantasy even if you don't buy the Cash Shop clothes. For example:  That would be a level 30 archer.  And a really, really high levelled rogue. I spelled the file name wrong, ah well.

But didn't you say that the game expires after three months...? Or, did you mean the clothes customization? XD;;

The game doesn't. You can still play the game. sweatdrop The only thing that doesn't expire if you got it is the hair and the eyes, and if you are lucky your pet. If you wanted to do the quest that is. Otherwise, you can still choose what your character wears. It's just most people who don't buy the cash shop buy things that help their character rather then give them the style. Most of the players are 12-14 year olds... sweatdrop See why I want more people to play with? When it was first beta, there weren't as many idiots but... *sigh* Oh well. It's like any other MMO. Except free and if you wanted to make your character more unique, it's open to you.

Hmm, it does sound fun. XD;; Reminds me of Yu-Gi-Oh! Online though... it was fun during beta, but then when it ended... *shivers* So many people would just leave you hanging in the middle of a duel, and they were all idiots! ;_; I ended up leaving, especially because dueling was no longer free.

Glad you were able to find a guild. XD A bit off-topic, but I found out that there's gonna be a Stargate: SG-1 MMORP today, and since I'm such a science-fiction nerd, I'm really contemplating getting into them. XD;; *wants to be a Jafa*
