Can anyone tell me what exactly what EFY is? This girl in my seminary keeps talking about it and I'm not active, so no one has told me about it. I just learned of it this year.

EFY is like a mix between Scout Camp and Girls Camp. Or so I figure from what I know about it. I've never been to one though.

EFY is like a big youth conference. You stay at dorms on university campuses for a week. There are speakers on gospel topics and games, and dances. EFY's awesome, too bad it's my last year (you can only go until your 18 )

*laughs* EFY is the craziest, and most spiritual place you might ever be. EFY is a week of being around kids your own age and religion. People who understand what you believe and want to help you along whatever road you choose. Everyone who goes is different but it's that LDS core that makes it special.
EFY is open to teenagers from age 13-18. It is usually 6 days long. You start on Monday and go home Saturday. Those six days consist of dances, games, chants, randomness, fun, learning, scripture study, a talent show, a very spiritual music presentation, and so much more.
There are EFYs all over the US. The closest one to me is in Portland Oregon. But several Universities host them in California and Washington. The last one I went to was in Idaho.
The when differs quite a but depending on where you want to go, when you want to go, and how far your willing to travel. In any case, all EFYs are held in the summer between March and August.

And in Canada. Come visit me xd There's one in Calgary and I think they are doing a BC one but I can't remember for sure.

anyone else going there, i'm not a *****, i think it'd be cool to meet more mormons on gaia and stuff
but also efy is at different times and places...but i think it's too late to regrister
efy is great, i got my testimony there

There are at least four different EFY campuses in Utah that I know of, there is even one where you stay at home and just drive over each morning and go home each night, but I think it would be funner to stay on campus.
