75% of males at 19-21

I didn't date for the first time until I was 16 - a lot of people start dating much earlier than that. He was my first-ever boyfriend too. Again, not something that seems to be the norm in today's society, but it didn't matter. If you don't want to/can't have sex at your age, then don't worry about it. It'll happen in its own time, when you're ready. smile

I lost my virginity when I was 18 to the person that I'm still with right now *knocks on wood*
I just waited until I felt "right" about it. I never had to worry about a lack of orgasm because I have always had masturbation. So for me, sex was about self fulfillment, not filling a deadline.
Anyway, sex can be nerve-wracking too, because you have to worry about precautions and possible pregnancy, and pleasing your partner, etc, so I find that it's best to have sex with someone that you're close to, so you can both discuss what you both want beforehand.

That's how it is with me too. smile I mean I did lose my virginity to my ex, because at the time it felt "right". I have no regrets about losing it to him, except that I think he's an a*****e for breaking up with me. But I digress. xp You're right, sex can be very nerve-wracking, which is why my boyfriend and I have talked things over in case anything ever happens (accidental STD [I have herpes, well, coldsores], or pregnancy, etc). He's very loving and supportive, and I'm grateful for that. We have good communication, know what the other person likes and dislikes, etc.
