Surprise! Well, for those who weren't aware of upcoming events this month,
it is. <3
Starting today, June 14th 2007, it is officially the one year anniversary of our guild's existence.
So in celebration, we'll be hosting not one, but four different contests to celebrate this special occasion. <3
Listen on!
1st Contest-
The Fanfiction Contest:
Rules:
1.) Must be SasukexSakura
2.) Must be written solely for this guild, for this occasion. Meaning you CANNOT submit an earlier piece of work. (It doesn't have to be out the anniversary though. >> wink
3.) Nothing over PG-13 (or T)
4.) May be any genre (except for erotica, sorry D: )
5.) You may write as many stories as you wish. During the voting period, people will only be selecting one story. Though the more stories you write and enter, the better your chances, right? ;3
6.) May either be a one-shot or a multi-chapter story. But keep in mind that multi-chapter stories must be completed and submitted before July 10th.
7.) To submit a piece, PLEASE upload the story onto a different site (such as fanfiction.net) and link us to the story in the Fanfiction and Fan art Anniversary Thread made specifically for the contest.

2nd Contest-
The Fan Art Contest:
Rules:
1.) Must be SasukexSakura
2.) Must be drawn solely for this guild, for this occasion. Meaning you CANNOT submit an earlier piece of work.
3.) Nothing over PG-13 (or T)
4.) May be any genre (except for erotica, sorry D: )
5.) You may submit more than one piece. Yet, only one fan art will be chosen over all during the voting period.
6.) To submit a piece, you may either
a.) Post the fan art in the Fanfiction and Fan art Anniversary Thread
b.) Upload the fan art to an art site (such as deviant art) and link us in the Fanfiction/Fan art anniversary thread
c.) Upload to photo bucket and link us in the thread.
7.) DON'T CHEAT. The mods and I WILL find out if you have taken someone else's art and enter it in this contest under your own name. It can't be a piece your friend did either. Art must be submitted as your OWN work and effort.

3rd Contest-
The AMV Contest:
Rules:
1.) Must be SasukexSakura
2.) Must be dedicated solely for this guild, for this occasion. Meaning you CANNOT submit an earlier piece of work. (The actual AMV doesn't have to be about the guild anniversary. Just a dedication would be fine. We just need a way to confirm that the video wasn't just stolen from someone.)
3.) Your Gaia username must appear in the credits of the video or someplace else.
4.) You may submit more than one video. Again, however, only one video will be chosen over the rest.
5.) To submit a video, please upload it to YouTube and link us in the AMV and ICON Anniversary Thread made specifically for this contest.
6.) DON'T CHEAT. Most of us do roam around YouTube so we know which videos are ripped off and which aren't.
One final note- Understand that AMV's take a lot of time and effort. Therefore it morally isn't right to cheat. Those who spent those long hours perfecting a video should be more eligible. Okay? heart

4th Contest-
The Icon Contest:
Rules:
1.) Must be SasukexSakura
2.) Must be made solely for this guild, for this occasion. You guys have heard this repeated three times now...>>
3.) Nothing over PG-13 (or T)
4.) May be any genre (except for erotica, sorry D: )
5.) If you choose to submit, you may only do so once! This is because the icons have to be submitted in BATCHES (with a number of icons). Otherwise, it become too confusing and difficult to keep track of everyone's icons.
So if you make multiple batches, wait until the end of the contest to submit them all at once in one post. Do so in the AMV and ICON Anniversary Thread when you are ready.
6.) Yes, we will need to see the icons in the thread. No linking please.
8.) Please don't cheat. That's just not cool. D:
