Okay, just before anyone says anything, I am NOT insulting the game in any way, shape or form. What I mean is while playing the game, we're all prone to making mistakes that are laughable. Like here's what happened to me recently.
I was near the end of one of my playthroughs and was on Very Hard mode. By that time with all the side bosses and stuff, my partie's average level was around 185 or something like that. By that time, Van is pathetically easy. So, I decided to bump the difficulty up to Unknown.
So, I had a nice, pretty chalenging fight with him, win, go through the game's ending and purchase stuff at the GRADE shop like normal, right? But here's the thing. I FORGOT TO SWITCH THE DIFFICULTY FROM UNKNOWN BACK TO VERY HARD. So, once I got to Tataroo Valley and run into that boar you have to fight, I got slaughtered. That's right. I WAS PWNED BY THE FIRST REAL FIGHT IN THE GAME. Now, if that's not sad, I don't know what is.
So anyway, what kind of stupid and funny experiences have you had with your game? Come on, I'm sure we all had one!

Hm..the only one I can think of right now is when I was looking for Deo Pass, and then realized and hour and a half later that I had accidentally gone into Malkuth.

OMG, that's funny! I never knew that you could change the game difficulty.
I really haven't had anything happen to me yet...

I forget how it happened, or why. But I was trying to get to the Cheagle Woods and ended up in Theor Forest... ._.;

Hmmm, it took me about an hour to find the Fuubras River in my first few playthroughs. I always would just take the path from St. Binah and get completly lost from there. sweatdrop

An hour? Both times I went looking for it I got lost...for over three hours. I knew, "Look for the big, spiky rocks of doom!" but alas, no, I never saw them until I had spent forever looking.

The only moment of stupidity I had in the game was back then during Luke and Tear's first visit to Engeve. Know the little side quest with fetching miso for the spaghetti? Well, it took me a long, long time to finally spot the old lady that would give me the needed miso. I actually wanted to stop playing the game and swear never to touch it again for that. Good thing I finally found that old lady. sweatdrop

I tend to get lost a lot. o__o; I remember, on my first playthrough, it took me forever to find Port Belkend. I looked for hours and even ended up in Port Sheridan thinking it was Port Belkend. xD;

Okay, here's mine. I don't remember if, at the time, I had the Tartarus or the Albiore, but I know it wasn't flyin', so I had to take the sea route. I do know I had to find that busted up Rotelro Bridge to get to Grand Chokmah the hard way...but I couldn't remember where the bridge was! gonk I spent at least an hour and a half finding Rotelro Bridge, and by that time, I'd crossed everywhere on the map except where it was. sweatdrop

on my first playthrough, you know the part in the Quiloth (sp?) where you have to find that place near St. Binah.
Mt sis and I couldn't find it at all for three days. I was yelling and screaming. Finally, when i threw the controller the O button pushed and we landed right there. i guess it was my fault in the end. i forgot how to land...
i'll never forget that.
