  Copper danced around in a clearing he had found. He was completely enjoying the long grass. Summer was his favorite season out of all. He explored around to see what else he could find. Copper knew there was always something knew to come up if you looked hard enough. He wished he could play hide and seek or tag but there was absolutely no one around as far as he knew. Or was there?((Sorry that took so long.))

Summer in the mountains wasn't as... Warm as the ones closer to the ground. The usually chipper Cosette, who had been adapting well to the new enviroment, was finally feeling the heat pressures of summer time. Used to snow, seeing grass and having the sun beat down all the time was nice, but overwhelming at times. She had been sticking close to streams for that reason. Just coming from a stroll in a stream, the arctic mare was making her way through the clearing.
Despite being slightly irritated by the heat, Cosette wasn't going to let it ruin her day. What was the point of complaning about a little heat? No point at all! And with that, she gave her head a shake, tossing her white man a bit and away from her eyes. Her tail flicked softly side to side, trying to fan her hind legs a bit.

Copper bit furiously at some annoying flies that were irritating his behind. He whipped his tail at them but they only seemed to come back. This was what he completely hated about summer. The bugs. He hated them all, and for a good reason.
After getting rid of a particularly bad biting insect more just came back. He groaned loudly and threw himself to the ground. He rolled around with his hooves in the air ranting unhappily at the little pests. "Would ya leave me 'lone fer one sec?!" he yelled at them in a frustrated manner. "Go pick on sum'n yer own size!"

Up ahead, the arctic mare heard someone complain. It almost sounded as if they were fightng with someone! Curiousity struck Cosette, and the mare followed her instinct - follow the voice. Her walk turned into a light trot as she headed in the direction of the voice, wondering if something was going on. If two were fighting, than it would be best to intervene, right? However, Cosette was somewhat disappointed at what her eyes befell, rather hoping to play the hero.
It was jus a stallion on his back, yelling at flies. The blue and white Soquili bit her lip, blinking hard as she stiffled back laughter. It was quite the funny sight after all! Taking a few steps forward, she craned her neck forward, a smile on her face as she tried not to laugh, "Having some trouble with the buggies?" She giggled, bititng on her lip again as she looked down at the brown colored stallion.

Copper stopped and peeked over his shoulder to see an arctic looking female. He had a somewhat surprised look on his face. He hadn't known someone was watching him. He cleared his throat with a little cough and stood up. He quietly shook some of the dirt out of his mane and looked at her with wide eyes.
"Sorta. Darn 'lil things just like ter pester me." He said looking at the ground. He was rather embarrassed at the moment.

The brown stallion appeared quite embarresed, and Cosette mentally felt a pang of guilt for making him that way. Being caught yelling at bugs and rolling in the dirt... Yeah, not exactly a situation she'd like to be caught in, but if it was fun, who really cared? But he wasn't, as he claimed they pestered him. There weren't many bugs in the mountains, so Cosette didn't exactly know how annoying they could be.
Taking a few steps forward, she bowed her head a bit and flashed a goofy grin, "Cosette's my name, stranger," The mare introduced, giggling somewhat.

He looked up at her with a smile. His blush began to fade away and he let his normal self come out to play. "Name's Copper. Nice to meet 'ya miss Cosette. Very loverly name 'ya got." He said with a huge nod. He observed her markings casually. He couldn't help noticing how pretty they were and how pretty she was in general. His blush snuck back for a little while as he found himself thinking this.

Her ears perked and a smile appeared on her lips at the compliment. "Thanks! Nice to meet you too, Copper. You're name's befitting of you. I mean, your coat is a bit of a coppery-tone, right?" She inclined her head forward as she examined his coat, her tail flicking side to side cheerfully. She nodded to herself as she confirmed this, and regained her posture. He appeared to be a friendly stallion, but she knew better than to get too trustful of others at first meetings. He wasn't that bad looking either. He looked more like he belonged in this scenery compared to her and her white and blue pattern.

"So...Where 'ya from?" Copper asked curiously. She didn't look like she was from around here. A dumb thought popped into his mind that maybe she could be some sort of angel. But then again she didn't have wings...or a halo. He swatted some more flies with his tail, it seemed they'd never leave him alone. He wondered why they didn't bug Cosette as much.

She was almost a little shocked by his question. Wasn't it obvious that she cam from somewhere cold? She turned her head to cast a look at her coat, looking at the white and blue before turning her attention back to the brown stallion, "Can't you tell?" She inquired playfully, as the thought that he may haven't seen mountain-Soquili before hit her. She began to walk around him, flicking her tail so he could get a better look at her arctic coat, "I come from the mountains... I think."

Copper watched her circle around him and again his embarrassment came back. "Ohh. Right. Makes sense. Ya think? Or know?" He asked trying to make conversation as he further observed her interesting markings. "I ain't never been to mountains like yours...Looks...Sounds...cold..?"

She looked away breifly, unsure of how to answer. So many told her that she looked like she came from the mountains, and she rememebred leaving them to get her... So that must've been her home, right? Raking her brain, she couldn't find an answer. The arctic mare turned her eyes back to him, and offered a wry smile, "I think I do. I'm pretty sure I am," She tilted her head curously at Copper, "How're winters here? They can't be all that warm."

Copper smiled and got the point. "Well, they ain't tropical if that's what 'ya mean. Probably warmer then what yer used to." he said and shifted from front foot to front foot. "If 'ya don't mind me sayin'...yer marking's are real pretty." he said and looked at the sky. Not many clouds were there...At least not enough to look at. So he looked back at her curiously waiting for an answer.

She was taken back by the compliment that followed the answer. She had been told that multiple times already, but no matter what a light flush always appeared on her face as it didnow. She offered a cheerful smile in response, "Thanks Copper!" She giggled lightly, her tail flicking happily. Even though she doubted that most of the time people said it they were telling the truth, she would be polite and get giddy for it.
But Copper seemed pretty truthful. He seemed pretty bashful, too. Maybe he wasn't used to company? She craned her neck to inspect him better, "Are you this bashful usually?"

Copper was surprised. Never had he been called bashful. He was used to befriending everyone he met. But for some reason he seemed to be extra shy today. "Well...no actually." He fought with himself trying to find an explanation. Maybe it was because she had laughed at him about the bugs? He was used to being laughed with not at. He puffed himself up trying to be more manly now. After a while he grinned at her realising how stupid he probably looked and he let out a laugh. He began to relax around her but was still a bit tense. "Aren't you ever shy?" he asked curiously.
