 What was that thing, shining and glistening just beyond that grove, that blue sparkle and that hint of salt? What cast those soothing crashing sounds? The young pup was eager to find out, head raised as she tried to catch glimpses of the wonderful blue thing. It'd started out as a hunting trip, or, what was supposed to be a hunting trip, but the pup faired miserably at this, never having been taught much more than the basics of hunting. But so far she couldn't get anything more than a baby bunny or already dead creature to feast off of.
But, forgetting the gnawing hunger inside her, the skinny pup began towards the blue glittering thing, picking her speed up to a run through the foliage, finally breaking through that last line of trees before skidding to a stop, warm, golden sand spraying all around her on the beach. She felt the salty air rustle her fur, and a grin spread over her face at the finding of this treasure. "Wowwww.." she whispered, eyes widening as she gazed upon the ocean. She'd never seen anything like this before, having been born closer into the island. Moving tentatively across the sand, the pup came closer to he water, until she could feel it splashing against her toes, Alice letting out a surprised and happy giggle at the sensation. What was this place?

As the pirate queen slowly trotted the the smaller pup, she raised a brow, spoting two tails on the little one, this raised questions, and made the pup that much more interesting. As she sat down by the little one, watching the pup stare in awe at the majesty of the sea, she cleared her throat and spoke in a calm even tone, showing she had no ill intent to this pups, "Well hello thar... I see you've just found the sea... a beauty, ain't she? I've lived on the waters edge me whole life..."
The pirate then chuckled and gazed out onto the shimmering waves. The gentle eb and flow of the tide releasing a soothing rthymic beat that lulled all who listened, even the gulls wailing seemed easing and calm. A gentle breeze carried an unheard song into Chui`Fen's ears... yo ho, yo ho, a pirates life for me... A song sang by her old crew... Oh yes, the sea was Chui`Fen's Goddess, and held all her treasure and memories dear.

As the tide came closer in, the pup quickly jumped back, then pawing at the salty warm water as it retreated farther back. "Hey wait, I wanna play with you!" Alice yipped, racing forward across the wet sand, only to having the tide come rushing back, causing the young femme to race away, both tails waving at the excitement of her own little game.
The grey whelp moved back onto the warm, golden sand, and catching her breath, looked out to the ocean once more. Not far off, sea-birds rested on the water, sitting like ducks and tossed by the waves of blue, crashing against each other in explosions of white foam. She barely noticed the older and larger wolf come up behind her, jumping up surprise as the pirate queen spoke. "The sea? Is that what this is?" Alice inquired curiously, looking to the waves and then back to this strange new wolf.

"Yes. That be the sea... d'you like it?" Chui`Fen inquired as the sea breeze ruffled her white fur, and made the beads adorning her black underbelly and tail jingle and click. Her jade colored eyes stared down at the pup curiously as the small one watched in wonder as the waves crashed, then retreated. The predictability of the waves made Chui`Fen chuckle to herself. Unruley, yet predictable. The sea was a strange being indeed.
"I'm Chui`Fen by the way..." She said with a warm smile as she introduced herself. Chui`Fen always had had a weak spot for pups. And this one just seemed to draw her in, so Chui`Fen had to get to know her.

A happy grin grew over the young femme's features, and she nodded towards the older wolf, both tails swishing back and forth across the sand happily. "Ya, I do..It's so pretty!" Alice exclaimed happily, closing her eyes with a content sigh as the wind from the waves blew past her face, bringing forth the scents of salt and sand.
"I'm Alice. Nice to meet you.." She replied, happy to meet another wolf here.

"Alice eh? Thas a nice name." Chui`Fen kept her eyes out on the horizon, the sky sinking into the blue waves every so slowly. She then turned her gaze back to the two tailed pup. A smile creeping across her maw. "Alice, 'ave ye ever heard about pirates?" the alpha asked ever so casually.
[ah! I'm burned in the weirdest places from that camping trip... this one spot on my hand, and this patch on my upper back... it hurts so much... ;-; ]

The curious young female turned her gaze in the direction of which Chui'Fen was staring, ears perking lightly as at times the golden sun seemed to be swallowed by the thrashing and leaping blue waves, only to appear once more as the water went away. It was all like magic to such a small pup, strange and wonderful. "Pirates?" Alice inquired, cocking her head as she looked back towards her fellow canine. "No. What're those?"

Chui`Fen slowly smiled and turned her head and gaze down to the pup. Her emerald eyes lighting up with the diming, light. "I am a pirate... I be the queen of the pirates..." She began, a brilliant smile painted across her face. "We pirates are masta's of the sea... we hear her call and ride her waves... we sail to new places and we explore. We answer to no one but the pirate queen, me." She watched the pup for her reactions. If she seemed amazed, Chui`Fen would recruit the pup. This Alice could become a great pirate one day, she was still young, brimming with life, and potential. And Chui`Fen wanted to courrupt her and make her into a "sea rat." Anotehr wolf to join her ban of thieving pirates. One more wolf to harass that bloody leader of the boens pack.

Bright blue eyes in turn widened considerably, the pup looking at Chui'Fen in awe. "A queen?" the young Alice could barely contain her excitement, both tails flipping and swishing around like playful otters. "Can I be a pirate too, Chui'Fen? Please?" Once determined, the pup wasn't going to let anything out o her grasp, especially this idea of pirating.

"Oh now I'll have ter think about that..." She said, feigning a look of contemplation, before she grinned back at the pup. "Of course ye can. Ye can be my first mate when ye get older. How bout that?" The white femme offered with a smile. "Now, how bout I show ye were we live while we're not out huntin'?" Chui`Fen had to admire the spunk this pup posessed was inspiring. She knew this girl would definately go far as a pirate. She was young too, so she'd be easier to mold the way Chui`Fen wanted.

"Ya! Ya! Of course!" the pup let out an ecstatic yap and bounced up from her spot on the sand, beginning to dance in place with a pink tongue lolling happily. Tails flicked hap-hazardly and Alice looked at the alpha femme with complete and utter regard and awe, anxious to see where she'd be living.

"C'mon then lets show ye the ship..." The alpha said with a big grin as she lead the small pup down the length of beach until a large ship against a sheer clif was seen coming into view. It's large tattered sails were black and the wood was a deep cheery wood. The Jolly Roger lag, the sign of the pirate, flapped ominusly above the main sail.

Obediently the pup followed at the alpha's heels, tails whipping back and forth excitedly as they went, bi-colored eyes wide in amazement. As they reached the ship, her mouth fell agape at the gigantic hull and strange colors.
"Wow....Is that where you live?" she inquired curiously, breaking her awe-struck gaze as she turned to Chui'Fen.
