I'm referring to fanfics. I read tons of Twilight fanfiction. But some things completely turn me off when Im reading.
-Any mention of fangs. Good Bye.
-Really long paragraphs, also one liner paragraphs.
-Bella + Edward's children. I have read ONE good story with this. The rest...arent good.
-I dont like reading about the Volturi...I dont know why...
-Bella being the next super vampire. Shes amazing, has every power conceivable, can fly, and isnt even attracted to blood! Ugh. No.
Am I picky? Or does anyone else have stuff that turns them off when reading fanfiction?
I hope I didnt offend anyone here... ninja

I hardly don't read Twilight fanfics [mostly humorous ones where all the characters act OOC & stupid...it's just funny xD] but by reading from what you listed,I'm sure I would be turned off by the same things if I was to read such fanfics.

I have never personally read any Twilight fanfics, but a few of those things would bother me too. Biggest one you have listed? Super Vampire Bella stressed That is rediculous (watch that be what she is sweatdrop )

I haven't read any of the Twilight fanfics. I'm deprived I know. sweatdrop and although this has nothing to do with the topic, I do have some things I don't like about the book New Moon.

i'm not all that big on Fanfics but I'd say what you list would have to be pretty bad... The ones that would really bug me would be the children one and the bella being all superman ish...

children ruin everything in a couple/pairing like Edward and Bella...D8 so that'd bug the crap outta me too...
fangs...? ok WTF?! we all know vampires have fangs, dont really need to express that, do we?
and the super human bella vampiress...is not cool. if she does become a vampire, i doubt very much would change with her, besides the looks.

That's why its annoying. interesting...u know, now that its said, i've never came upon a part where that was throughly expressed....i just---assumed...but u know what they say about that...-_- >,> so how do they drink there blood when they need it? do they literally eat meat thats raw, or....just drink it, like water? ^^ i'd love to know, so that i dont look like SUCH a noob sweatdrop

Edward simply replies by flashing his teeth. rofl It never really says in the book whether vampires have fangs, but Stephenie confirmed it on her website. (Or on the Lexicon. My brain's all foggy right now.) Twilight vampires have razor-sharp teeth which they use to make a wound in the animal (or human >.>) and they suck the blood from there. No point in being embarrassed about not knowing; we were all "noobs" at one point. 3nodding

Everything about them has been aggravating me lately. =.=
I'm not entirely sure why, but maybe it's because of the trouble I've had with my own lately.
Poor grammar, serious OOC, most AUs, and things that aren't descriptive usually bug me. Bahhh. I'm too picky.
I'm going to move this to Fanfiction because that's what this topic applies to. PM me if you have a problem with the move or anything else.

Dont get me wrong, some fanfiction IS really good. You just have to do some searching. I do a lot of digging, and I enjoy what I find.

I have liked some of those, but other times they really just mess up completely. Mostly bad grammar and spelling is what bothers me, but the fact that they think that for it to be fanfiction, that they have to quote the whole book. Like how in Twilight, they only once mention the whole "dazzling" thing, but then in the fanfics they come and quote it a gazillion times. It's not really good if they don't know that the characters wouldn't act like that the whole time. Only good fanfic is when they know how the characters would act, not when they have to use lines from the book to make it good.
Sorry, I rant a lot.

I read this one that said Bella had known Edward since he was a baby:impossible, Edward is 160!
The same one had Rosalie as the 'Queen Bee' and Jessica and Lauren as her followers: Impossible, Bella is the ONLY human who is comfortable with the Cullens
I absolutely hated it.
