A lot of people, including me, have seen most of the anime series. I wanted to know how many people have read the manga series. It's much different then the anime series. Better, in my opinion. Here is some of the differences between the anime and manga, also this contains spoilers:
Anime-
Dante
Envy as Dante and Homeihem's son
Wrath
Sloth(girl version)
Envy's true form, in episode 50
Manga-
No Dante, the Homonculi's have all one leader, the call him 'father'.
Envy is not the half brother of Ed and Al.
Wrath is there, but not the kid version, Wrath is Pride, hard to explain.
Sloth, is a guy, and very dense.
No Dante
Shows Envy and Gluttony's true form. Envy's true form weighs several tons.
Gluttony is the fake gate
There are still more, it's just I like both anime and manga, but I'd wish they went more along with the manga, but I guess to shorten the series they had to create a new plot on parts and add some of our favorite characters....

oh yeah, the 13th volume just came out and it looks as if the "father" the homunculi refer to is in fact Hohenheim, Ed's dad! eek

Search for on google: online manga viewer alpha full metal alchemist. HTis will bring you right to a site for FMA and other manga.

They never said Envy isn't Ed's half brother. I have to admit though, there is more plot and background in the manga. It's a lot better than the anime, but the anime is still good!
Also, there is two slothes I thought. I can't remember.
Another thing: there is another kind of alchemy in the manga, a lot of new characters and a new Greed because of this. There are the "original" sins and then the "new" sins. Or something like that.
In the anime there was a short knowledgement of the guy sloth, but not much of it I do believe. I could be wrong.
