o_o .. I didn't fish yet, but I plan to fish a lot. XD I'm probably gonna get broke right before the battle system being released or something. LoL. Whee. Fishing.

After giving 2000 Gold to Rolf and 1000 Gold to a friend, I'm having to save up to make sure I have enough for the Secret Santa thing...no fishing for me. ;3

fishing isn't a very good invstment unless you plan on catching about 100 fish a day in the hard area. You ned about 10 of said fish to just pay off the cost of the rod and a cheap bucket of bait.

The fishing's practicly a scam.
125 minimum for one go at it. At Bass'Ken you can only get 54 Gold at best. At Gambino you can only get 126 at best. Logicly at Durem you can get 198 a best. However the odds of getting ANY profit are slim to none as you will need to pay for a greater rod if you want to catch anything at Gambino and Durem. sweatdrop

Lunar Falcon All I caught were guppies (orange and yellow) and an old boot.
I've caught 16 Yellow Guppies, 10 Orange Guppies(dont know how many more of each guppy, I sold my last set of catches), 2 Blue Seedkins, 7 Green Seedkins, 8 Cans, and 3 Boots.
Cans are worth 1 gold
Boots are worth 2 gold
Guppies are worth 3 gold
Seedkins are worth 7 gold
Whatever's in Durem is probably worth 11

You're not alone in that. I think you could make a profit by fishing Durem, of course that wouldn't pay for the rod for a long time. I tried Durem, and got frustrated after I realized I could've made more money in a lot less time with a lot less effort.

Kedian Eh, I know fishing isn't exactly the most exciting thing ever.. but seeing as it's Gaia they could have at least spiced it up a bit. *sniff* Gaia is beginning to mlook more like a low budget copy of the game Animal Crossing every month, complete with corny jokes when you catch something!
