today I had my first guitar lesson and it was cool!!!
and also I have another assignment thingo due tomorrow which I have barely started (questions on Macbeth, I don't like Macbeth...) so the plan was to do it all this afternoon but I came home and then had my guitar lesson (YAY!!) and then had dinner and now I'm on gaia (YAY!!) and I have to watch LOST in an hour and twenty minutes!

I play guitar (sort of) but Ive never taken lessons. Im teaching myself slowly and painfully. sweatdrop

yay!! guitar!!
my thing with LOST is that it's a love hate relationship. I really like it but I really dislike some of the things at the same time. I often yell at the TV during LOST. Dad yells at the TV during footy. But if I miss one episode of LOST it is alot harder to follow. But I also watch random Forensic Shows, which are alot easier to follow if you miss an episode, mainly cos most of it is tottaly unrelated each episode, but it partly is.
CSI
CSI:NY
CSI:Miami
NCIS
Numb3rs
Crossing Jordan (more soapie than Forensics)
and anything else that happens to be on that is in any way related to Forensics (except there is one show that I really dislike and I forget what it is called....)
I talk too much...

yeah i take lessons too lol.
on my first lesson i found out that im left handed and had to put all the strings in reverse...
then came the hard part my fingers were like sore and what not...
at on point i thought my fingers were too short but the truth was they were actually longer than most of them.

when I first picked up my guitar I held it the wrong way.... I held it the way a left hander should hold it... I won't make that mistake again!

i held it the correct way the way left handers should hold it (me being a left handed and all).
then my teacher said i was holdind it the wrong way... i stared at him.
after that he asked me if i was left handed and the rest was history... mrgreen

yeah, my fingers used to hurt too. Now theyre numb. I can put them on a burner and not feel anything for a few seconds.

uh.... thats not good song...
but yeah, my finger hurt a little while I'm playing, but once I stop playing (not that I really play anything, it's just notes and chords at the moment) I'm good.

I dont really play anything either. I like to make it up. I should get a more advance book to learn some more tricks though... I want to be way better than I am. Its frustrating

I'm borrowing my teachers book. But I'm going to buy the same one so I don't have to borrow it. cos some of her other students need it too.
