As it has been said before, the Era of Supers has soured.

The figure chuckled darkly as he gazed into the fire, a goblet in his right hand. He took a sip of the blood-red wine, smiling softly as the fire licked around the wood, consuming it, making it one with itself. The figure always found fire a perfect metaphor, solely because it could represent anything; hunger, anger, nobility, and even Power.

The figure raised his other hand, a tendril from the fire lifting up, swiftly covering the distance between the two, coiling around his hand. He swept his hand outwards, the fire forming a ring, a grayish-liquid filling in between the circle. This ring currently showed Xeen Soltari and his fiance, Erica Morrow. The figure chuckled as Xeen spoke of having a plan, however un-crafted it yet was. That was why the figure had crafted this city, carved it out of the very continent it was so close to, and set it out as it's own island. That was why he set out that beacon into the particularly powerfull Super's minds, the beacon that urged them onward to this city, this Haven for them.

The image in the fire changed, this time showing Baranar Bremwill atop the Villains Mansion, Runes spread out around him as he attempted to locate who he thought was the Time Master. The figure laughed at this attempt. If Bremwill knew who the real Puppet Master here was, he wouldn't be wasting his energy attempting to find him.

The figure closed the image, returning the fire to it's rightful place. He took another sip of wine and closed his eyes. Yes, these people would make the game far more interesting than it was.

I was busy today, as I have been recently. I have decided that the Supers have become situated enough, enough to handle a bit of a challenge. I will send it soon, and wish them good luck as said challenge attempts to send them to the abyss. Obviousley the Portal's will be removed if they fail the challenge, at least for a while...

Speaking of the Portals, the first of the Supers died today. A one Erica Morrow, one of the original three who brought about the end of Flippyville. She was killed by two others who came from Flippyville, only by a different route. It's humerous how none of them remember that they died in Flippyville, and were not brought back untill only recently. Only Baranar remembers, but because I decided to allow him, not because of some spell his possesed.
I'm rambling, excuse me.
Erica Morrow died, and I was alerted to it. While the magic of the Portals is a passive thing, I am still alerted whenever anyone uses them. I decided, for the sake of doing so, to fill her with fear as she exited the Portal. I stripped her of her clothing and filled her with fear. I needn't specify the fear, her mind would provide it's own target, merely having the fear was enough. It will make things interesting...

As I had previousley mentioned, Baranar has attempted to find me, and failed, though he did notice my little message to him, the variance in his runes. Xeen has already realised that I am not the Time Master, though he knows not who I am. He remembers my power, though he has no face to it. I think, to throw him off, I shall mask myself, give off the aura of another, say....U'Daria? Yes, yes, that will do nicely....

Recently, there has been a specific question troubling my mind. The Supers in haven, and, everywhere else in the world, possess amazing powers. There are those with mediocre powers, which tend to be more common than most. Then you have the Spot-On-The-Wall variety, those who's powers have next-to no use at all, and thus they are rarely recognized as a super. Then you have those like The Time Master, those who's powers are extraordinarily powerful, to the point of near god-hood.
I have decided not to list myself in a category, as I am one of a kind.

Everyday this Haven for Supers grows more and more interesting. More Supers flee, sometimes one by one, sometimes in groups. Sometimes by vehicle or walking, sometimes by extra-dimensional portal. All of them are seeking safety from the government that is supposed to be protecting people by killing others. It is, quite frankly, enough to make even myself angry at the sheer outrage. While I hold no bond with these Supers, and owe them nothing, I grow more and more annoyed at the government's attempts to capture and study them. Not a week ago did the Military send in a battalion of tanks, and thousands of armed soldiers. It was an easy matter stopping them, but it is aggravating that they continue to send more and more troops, despite the fact that everything they send here DIES the moment it crosses my boundaries!

I have decided that steps must be taken. While they may not wish to play by my rules, they no longer have any choice. It has come to my attention that one of the Villains, Erica Morrow, is with child. This will be the child of both her, and Xeen Soldevi, another villain who is not. quite. human anymore. I sense great potential in this child, and have decided to make it my own.

First I shall accelerate the child's aging-rate. This will, once I am done with his mind, seem completely natural. After all, he is not quite human, after his time with U'Daria, and said changes to his DNA, this advancement of age could be natural.

Once the child is born, it will be a simple matter of bending it to my will. I will remain in the shadows of it's life throughout it's infant years. I shall be a figure that only the child can see, so that it may grow familiar with my presence. Then, when the child is old enough to understand, and with my alterations, that should be in less than 4 years, I will present myself to it, and take it under my wing.

Along with the corruption of the child, I shall begin to twist the other leading Super's in Haven to my will. Erica Morrow will be simple enough. I will show her a false-time line in which her baby is killed while still in the womb. I will offer her a chance to save her child, my speeding up it's birth, if she swears a binding oath to serve me when I call upon her. Being the motherly figure she is, it will be no trouble.

Xeen Soldevi, leader of the villains will also be a simple matter. He knows not who I am, but I can show him my power, and promise him protection from U'Daria if he joins me.

There are many others who I can, and will, manipulate to my terms, but I find is pointless to write further, as I have them all memorized. They will all be used to rid this world of Non-Supers, once and for all.

Master of Puppets, I'm pulling your strings. Twisting your minds, smashing your dreams...

It has been a depresingly holiday season in Haven. There have been no grand schemes of which to speak, unless you count the fool Henry, but his plans were foiled before they could be unfurled, but I regress.
The holidays have been, for lack of a better word, boring. I believe everyone thinks to call a truce, so that they too may enjoy the break. I also believe I might have something to say to that...

Much had changed since the Master of Puppets rule over Haven.....

The board had moved. Pieces had fallen, and others risen to take their stead. The Kings had changed, and one side began to grow oppresingly strong. It was at this time The Pupper Master decided to take the race of Supers as his chosen ones. They would be his favored insect in this war of ants. But he would need a general. He would need someone who could lead the Supers into victory, or demise, without him walking them there. It was then the Master of Puppets decided to take a child yet unborn to be his avatar. He chose two promising Supers, and influenced their emotions, leading to their eventual marriage and the conception of his child.

Oralia Soltari

The Puppet Master made a deal with the mother, promising the child's well-being, showing the mother false-images of her and her offspring's death if she did not agree to let him influence the child, and to owe him a great debt. The Master then went and made a similar deal with other Supers of great power and importance, gaining ties in many others.

Oralia was born after three months of pregnancy, and by the age of eight months had the intelligence of a five year old. By the time she was three, she had the body of a seven year old. It was at that time The Master of Puppets chose to take her, under the guise of a special education program for the exceptionally gifted. He then began Oralia's training, teaching her magics she would need for his eventual war, magics none but he knew, teaching her how to not only make the image of someone, but to tamper with one's very perception of reality. After a few years, she was allowed to return to her family for a while, to allow her a break from his rigerous training.

All of the training had taken place since the Mimic invasion, since Nature had tried make another evolution past the Supers, and had been fought of by said.
Oralia is now with her parents. The Master of Puppet's location is currently unknown. But he is waiting, and he will have his war of ants.
