Tinker Bell is merely a cosplay. An homage, to the real character. As such, she will not be played as if she is the real Tinker Bell.
Quirks I have decided to give to her: - She is tiny. In relation to a normal Pae, she's about the same size as the real Tink is compared to Peter Pan. In most cases, she'll only look like a little glowing ball followed by a sparkly pixie dust trail. - She speaks the language of the fairies. She does not speak Pae'il. Nor will she ever. When she's speaking, most pae will only hear the chime of bells. Faerie pae, and the fae-hybrids (wilwarin and nymphs, and eventually Miakis) - She glows faintly, and leaves a trail of Pixie Dust everywhere she goes. - Her Pixie Dust is the same as her namesake; it can make pae fly if they think happy thoughts and believe. But this is her power as a pae. So its extremely weak when she's young, and will grow to 'full power' by the time she's a teen.

>> Family <<
Tinkerbell does not have any natural-born family. She's being cared for and 'raised' by Drucilla.
She considers Drucilla her mother, but Drucilla merely considers the tiny faerie the subject of her current research. The Pixie Dust this little pae leaves everywhere is of great interest to the Wilwarin girl.
First Found Not too long ago... The young Wilwarin girl, while doing her daily sample gathering and experimenting, had stumbled across the most curious find on the edge of Loka Nei Forest. She found an old brass teapot, looking like it'd been loved at one time, but discarded for some unknown reason. It was rather fancy, somewhat larger than a usual teapot as well.
It was an unusual little artifact; one that definitely drew on the curiosities of the young, inquisitive mind. Dru had taken the teapot back to her dwelling to clean it up and see what she could find inside the presumed sealed vessel.
To her surprise, she found a tiny little baby faerie pae'il inside. It was most unusual as pae'il are not that tiny. She wondered if the baby had encountered an accident or been exposed to something. It was definately a magnificent find for the young, self-titled scientist. She wanted to learn more, and figure out why this pae was so tiny. She decided this would be the subject of her research from here on out.
Careful to not disturb the baby, Dru returned the teapot to where she found it. She observed and cared for the tiny inhabitant; providing food and water, warmth and shelter for it. All the while trying to remain an unseen force in its life. She wanted to observe how it behaved naturally.

...A Tiny Faerie?
Drucilla I came across a bizarre little creature today. Least, I think its a creature. Its got a striking resemblance to a faerie aligned Pae'il, however, its about the size of a regular chicken egg. Even the highly annoying mellons aren't this small. But I have also never seen a baby mellon, so I suppose I have nothing to compare it to.
I found this unique creature tucked safely inside an old teapot, of all things. The teapot itself looked rather worn, and dented. It was dirty as well, but it did not appear that the teapot had been discarded in this location for long. The grass and weeds were not growing around it, rather they were bent over from it. That indicates to me that the teapot was recently placed there. I wonder if perhaps it was a casualty when the island crashed into the water. Perhaps it has an owner somewhere.
Engraved on the side of the teapot were the words 'Tinker Bell'. I am unaware of any Pae'il by that name, and I searched the library for possible references. I came up empty handed, with the exception that a character named 'Tinkerbell' existed in a story about a boy that did not want to grow up. I won't waste my time with such childish nonsense, so I didn't look any further into the fictional story.
I did indeed search for a few days to see if any of the denizens of the island were missing a teapot, but the Pae'il I conversed with were wholly unfamiliar with the teapot.
It was then that I decided to take a break from my normal work, to conduct a bit of research. Perhaps the mother of this baby creature would return to claim it. I carefully put the teapot back on the spot I found it, and hid nearby to observe. Negative results. I had to use a bit of my lab equipment to feed the tiny baby. (my eyedropper is now forever contaminated with baby slobber.)
Weeks passed, and nothing. The baby was indeed growing, but not at any substantial rate. I did notice however one peculiar trait this tiny pae possessed. This tiny baby constantly is shedding some type of powdery substance. I am unsure exactly what it could be, as its nothing I've ever seen. All experiments fall flat for results. Further testing is required.

She's Mobile Now!
Drucilla After extensive testing and sample collecting, I am still falling flat on determining what that powdery substance is. As far as I can tell, its a dust of some kind. It sparkles in the sun, like diamond dust. Its not a dense substance. Quite the contrary; it's got virtually no weight at all. It has no taste (don't judge!) or odor. Its very soft to the touch, sometimes impossible to even tell you're touching it.
Now, on to the living research subject: Tinker Bell. Yes, I have given her the name that was engraved on the side of the teapot. It seemed fitting. Much more humane than 'test subject' at least.
The baby continued growing, and is now a little toddler. She's not very much bigger, perhaps only doubled in sized, which might seem like a huge growth, but when you go from 2 inches tall to 4, its not a lot.
She has learned to walk, which has become a huge burden and pain in my butt. She's so tiny, she gets in to EVERYTHING. In addition to her legs functioning now, her wings do as well. So whatever she's not running in to, she's flying in to. She's leaving trails of that dust everywhere now too. I'm glad it doesn't seem to effect anything in any way, because I am sick of cleaning it up.
She's beginning to talk, but only just barely. She calls me 'mamma' which I loathe. You'd think 'Dru' would be easier for the girl to say. She very inquisitive and curious about her surroundings, like I would assume all toddlers would be.
I took her home to show Dad, and while I think he was curious, he didn't care for her. Told me to leave it in my lab and not bring it in the cave anymore. He only refers to Tink as 'it'.
Now, something bizarre, as if the girl herself isn't, but Dad, can't understand a sound she makes. She says 'mamma' a lot, and will practically sing it, but all Dad hears come from her is the sound of chiming bells. I need to figure out why this is, still.
