INTRODUCE YOURSELF, FOO'S. Uhh, tell us a bit about yourself! How you got into the fandom. I guess I'll start it off. I'm Knuxie/Mal. I'm the owner of the guild (but thanks to Dukeman and Ilyuhin for helping me purchase it.) I like a lot of things. 8D Mostly UM/Kinnikuman though 'cause I'm obsessed. Kinda obvious, but my favorite character is Mars. X3 Funny, when I first saw UM on the Foxbox years ago, I hated it. I thought it was so stupid but when I actually sat down and watched it, I fell in love with the series and was hooked. My second favorite character is Jeager, followed by Kevin and Croe. Out of the Kinnikuman characters, my favorite is Mr. Khamen. I've cosplayed as Mars, Jeager, and Kevin. Yo, name's Veil, I'm currently the newest guild member, and I am a huge fan of Kinnikuman (And Kinnikumam Neisi, to an extent.) But I have to admit, the way I got into Kinnikuman is rather interesting.
When I was about six years old, I was going to a local toy store that was going out of business that was having a clearance sale with my mom for my birthday. She told me that I could get anything in the store, as long as the total cost for the toys I got was under $50.
I bought all sorts of crap: A super-soaker, teenage mutant ninja turtle action figures, the power-ranger megazord, and a used NES game (I believe it was Double Dragon.) I was the happiest kid in the toy store, but when we were at checkout, the total price was about $43, so with seven extra dollars, I leaped to the bargain bin.
That is where I saw several boxes of M.U.S.C.L.E. figures, something I had never heard of at the time, some in the normal, 4-pak packaging, and others in these garbage-pail style boxes. I knew the price for the normal 4-pak was 45 cents, but I can't exactly remember the price of the garbage pail ones...
Anyway, these had been apparently at the store for years in storage, and they were dusty and whatnot, but I didn't care, these things over-flooded with cool to me. I took as many as I could (There really weren't much in the bin in the first place), and rushed to my mom.
I had tons of fun with the guys (I had over twenty.) and had pretend wrestling matches, gave the little guy names I made up, invited friends, ect. Those little guys were the best fun I had when I was six.
Years later, most of my figures were lost. (I had only kept two: Sunshine Top-Form and Mongoman) And I was bored on my computer, when I noticed one of those M.U.S.C.L.E. Collector Sites, and it said that the figures were based off a show called Kinnikuman. This fascinated me, and I checked youtube and other sites for info on the show. I was hooked immediately, and have been a kinnikuman fan ever since. ^^
My favorite character would have to be Mongo/Ramenman, not only is he one of the only chojin to never die, he is one bad a** character. (I loved when he beat the s**t out of Mortorman and Bikeman, but I was heartbroken when Ramenman fell victim to Warsman and became a vegetable.)

Oh oh oh! My turn! :B My name's Chibi Riya though I tend to use Riya for short. Sometimes I use Lucemon for my name so I guess you can call me any of those three names you feel like calling me by. ^^; Four years ago when I first saw the previews of Ultimate Muscle on FoxBox, I thought it was the most retarded thing I have ever saw and swore that I would never watch it. Then came that day when I saw Terry fighting against Rex King and I was like, "UHH, it's not as stupid like I thought..." But I wasn't really able to watch most of the episodes because of the time it was being aired on. A little later on when I saw Hydroza versus Kid Muscle, I caught a little look at Mars but I can't really recall exactly what was my expression toward Mars. I thought he looked funny. The next time I saw Mars, I just fell madly in love with him like a retarded little 14 years old fangirl I was. (Yes, I was 14 at that time. I'm 18 now. Lawlz.) I started taping some Ultimate Muscle shows especially the ones with Mars in it and have been watching Ultimate Muscle on TV ever since (since my schedule was more flexible) until the last episode. I think I probably missed out just a few since then as well. (I pretty much lost all of the episodes I've taped. T__T ) My love for Ultimate Muscle is always there. Always have and always will. Sometimes I just get really wrapped up in other animes but you can bet that I still love my Ultimate Muscle. And uh. My favorite character is Mars of course. XD; My other favorites are Baron Maximillian and Bone Cold. I also like Checkmate too. And I think Dazz Ling looks cool but I never really got to see him in action and I assumed it would just look silly if I said I really liked him without really see him on the TV or something. ^^; However I don't really have a favorite in Kinnikuman, the original series though. Time for the almost-newest member to say hi! *joined shortly before the member recruitment* I'mma do it this way so I dun get confused. xD... Who: Rebecky_Mo here, though you can call me any shortform of it (Becky, Mo, Rebecky, Bec, etc.), it's how I got the name in the first place. xd You might catch someone calling me by the name ChibiBee or 'Bee here too, as that's my DeviantART name. What: I like anime's better than manga usually, and UM/Kinnikuman is no exception. Character's spazzing in true movement is far more rewarding than seeing it on a page... xd I have 1-26 of the UM Japanese eps with (BAD) subs, and the first movie with the same subbers. Plus dub versions of whatever 4Kids showed last summer.... I've caught up with the American release of the manga. (now I have to wait like everyone else! D<), and I also have an actual Kinnikuman doujinshi that's suposedly drawn in the 80's! (not Yaoi/Shonen ai, but I SWEAR there's Buffaloman/Geronimo moments!) Even got a Ramenman action figure last weekend at Anime North. >3 Also, Kinnikuman Gashapon/figures? DO WANT. D< Where:DevART Minor UM stuff, but I'm working on it! Little Rubber Guys.com Kinniku/UM forum Bolt.com I has U.M. subs up! (Youtube's been mean to me D< ) Why:Why NOT? Actually, like most others here, I didn't think too much of Ulitmate Muscle on first glimpse. I'd casually watch it once in awhile, but didn't REALLY get into it until the showing of the Poison Six Pack and the Chojin Crown (I don't even remember most of THAT). But once I did get into it, I couldn't stop thinking about it. It's got wrestling (which I love, anime or not), cool characters (never got into Mars or Kevin Mask much), lewd humour, and total, absolute CRACK. I thank the interweb gods that the info for Ultimate Muscle and Kinnikuman grows online every day. Favorite characters?....I like pretty much all of them. It's like my love of One Piece, I have no characters I utterly can't stand. Jeager, Wally, and Checkmate are sweetypies, Kid Muscle, Meat and Gazelleman crack me up, Terry's so goddamn stubborn it's cute, and Rinko's a tough gal... How: I got into Ultimate Muscle late, nearly at the end of it's run on the FoxBox. I never did get to see it all... *sobs* But what I did see in the end intrigued me, so I began digging for it, relishing any bits and pieces of info/fandom I could find (actually, I think Knuxie's DevART page was the beginning of a true infatuation). A few years ago I was lucky enough to find some Japanese U.M. bootlegs in Toronto's Chinatown, and snatched 'em up like a starving man at a buffet would dinner rolls. I've fallen into the Kinnikuman/Ultimate Muscle insanity ever since. From then it was the U.M. manga, and even went into the original Kinnikuman manga online, and clips of stuff on Youtube *bows to the wonderfulness of it* heart EDIT: Hey Veil? Sweet sig. (One Piece is the OTHER obsession =3)

The Veil Same here, ChibiBee, in fact, Kinnikuman and the elusive Pandaman lead me to One Piece, and, like Kinnikuman, I was hooked, ^^ Pandaman, bridging fandom gaps over time and space. xd I do find some massive similarities between the two series, mainly the utter crack-ness, creativity and fun characters they both have, as well as some kickass fight scenes. The impact Kinnikuman had on Oda is obvious. Forget all these collaborations between Oda and Akira Toriyama, I want me an Oda/Yudetamago collaboration! heart

Amen to that! I would love to see Oda work on a Kinnikuman project, just to see how he would play the story out. XD
Better yet, Yude and Oda should work on a original project together, and, like with Kinnikuman, allow people to submit characters, just to keep things fresh. ^^

Alright... me..
Usually, if you recall throughout the internet somewhere floating about, I'm that freak MissMothra... also known as Annie by the guild fangirls here.
My favorite character from Kinnikuman Nisei is Gazelleman/Dik Dik Van Dik (such a lovely and sweet stag heart ), and my favorite Kinnikuman and Nisei Legend character is Buffaloman.... (TEH JESUS-POSER! CAPTAIN CHRIST HIMSELF!)
I'm a guro fan (go to Riya's (Lucemon's) profile and look at the latest comment from me as of today's post date for this post for an explanation of guro and it's 3 subcategories. you'll see Ultimate Muscle is actually a rather soft-guro anime itself 3nodding ) I'm a freak... goth, emo, whatever you wanna lable me as, just gimme a pat on the head and pray I'll be okay. I'm a BIG Rammstein fan and was raised on AC/DC and 3 Stooges thanks to me dad.
I live in Ohio so I'm not far from Knuxie (just south of her by halfway down the damn state xd )
I WISH to cosplay and if/when I do, I'mna cosplay as Gazelleman in street-clothing for starters (his smexy nekky body will be worked on when I get better money for that in about a year and a half sweatdrop )
