What would happen if Kira ran out of pages to write on in the Death Note?

It doesn't run out. I read that in one of the little intermissions in the show where it shows part of the deathnote. whee

I think one of the shingami once said something along the lines of "Ryuk has to stay with that kid (Light) until he dies or the notebook runs out."
I found that passage odd after reading about the unlimited pages rule, but I assumed it meant the death note was destroyed.

I wonder if the death note is small on purpose. You know so if humans got hold of it they wouldnt be able to do too much damage.
I wonder if the shinigami have to get new ones every so often....

That would make me laugh. I know it doesn't run out of pages but if it did he'd yell, scream, kick then grab a gun and go on a murdering spree.

In the rules of the death note, it states that the deathnote can't run out of pages, but it would be funny! I can just imagine Mikami freakning out, since he writes like a full page of names every night. xD

Imagine a DN version of the DMV(the DDN). You have to go back like, a week before yours runs out. If you don't qualify to get a new one you get a Death Folder to last you for the month. whee

Wasn't there something in one of the rules that if the human fills up all the pages, he can ask the Shinigami for a new note?
I'm at school right now, so I can't check, but I'll take a look through the rules once I get home.

but it reminds me of a doujinshi where L found out that the death note never runs out of pages and so he ripped out a whole load of pages and shredded them and then poured them all out of the window so that the crowds of people below touched them and then they started screaming because they could see Ryuk. ^^ lol
