(This is a private RP for Silva, Quantel, and all their respective creatures ONLY. Do not post if you are not Ice or Tera.)
The distance between residences never failed to irk Quantel, as she finally reached where Silva was said to live. Approaching the house at a steady pace, she extended her field of detection in an effort to ascertain whether or not her quarry was outside or in. The tiny, similar sensation she wanted seemed to be towards the back of the house, so it was there that she headed.
Seeing the open window, and the tiny figure on the sill, Quantel dropped lower than the opening, gliding over silently, hovering just beneath the view of the outside world, before rising up and reaching out with a dainty toe to touch the surface of the sill. Her wings, outstretched initially, pulled inwards, folding over her back, and her left hand came to rest on her hip, just above where a braid of string lay coiled, thrice, around her waist. The faintest of smiles played over her features, as she waited for him to acknowledge her.

Silva took the time to finish his final repition, trying to figure out what the feien was doing on his sill. Finally he put his barbell down, turning to her.
"Quantel, wasn't it?" He asked, ignoring the way his various pets scattered, Sonnet growling low in her throat at the intruder. "What brings you to my humble abode?"
He was chewing on his toothpick, not bothering to hide his smirk.

"Aii, Quantel." It pleased her that he had remembered her name, and she let that show in her expression. At the mention of his "abode," she glanced about, taking in both their surroundings and the scattering of pets. Idly, one long finger began to trace the cord around her waist. Her sapphire eyes came back to rest on him, taking in the smirk, the toothpick, the young form so obviously accustomed to using the equipment she had just interrupted him at. The corners of her lips twisted upwards, and she formed the answer to his question. "As I sense that we share certain... similarities not found in the others, I thought it best that we know each other better."

"Similarities, huh? Sure, I'll buy that." He said, watching her closely. His natural urges were warring with his instinctive mistrust. "If we share... similarities... then I already know I can't trust you, can I." He finished, leaning over and grabbing his jumprope.
"So what do you REALLY want?" He asked as he started to jump.

Clever boy. As she watched him jump, she nodded. "Trust is for those too weak to depend on themselves." Curving her fingers around the cord, she tugged one end free, then slowly pulled upon it, the loops first drawing tighter around her waist, before beginning slither free of its coils. Even as she wrapped the end she held around her hand, the other end fell free, previously tucked behind her wings, and landed on the floor, exposing a collar of some sort. "But we need not trust each other, as long as we understand each other."

He stopped jumping, raising an eyebrow in amusement. "Hell woman, you could have warned me you were into that kinky s**t." He said, looking more closely at the device. "So whaddaya say, you want to be tied up first?"
He didn't bother to mention he wouldn't allow himself to be tied. He didn't trust her enough for even that. But if she was willing who was he to say no? He glanced over as Sonnet's growl got louder, wondering idly what that was about.

Her laugh was soft, even as she caught the cord with her right hand, drawing it through her lightly closed fist until she held the collar. "This, I am sorry to tell you, is for neither you nor I." Quantel narrowed her eyes ever so slightly as she looked in Sonnet's direction, but her smile never faultered. "It is a training device specifically built for use on Pixapets. And I would like for you to keep it for me, until I have need of it again." Most likely the beast beside the boy could smell the pain and sweat of the other pup she had been using this particular collar with. As she slid her gaze back to Silva, she reached out with her magic hand to tweak Sonnet's right ear, ever so gently.

Sonnet jerked at the touch, lunging forward, her teeth snapping, intent on ripping the throat out of the intruder. Silva grabbed her scruff and holding her half off the ground before she could get close enough. "Down." He muttered, making her sit, her fangs still bared.
"You want me to keep it, huh? What do I get out of this?" He asked. "I don't have any use for that kind of thing, personally." He turned, glaring at Lyric who was creeping towards them. The hyena stopped.

She raised a brow at the commotion Sonnet had made, storing that reaction away for future reference. "For one, I will be coming back for it, so you would be assured of a return visit." Quantel took a small step towards him, careful to keep from getting too close; not because of the still snarling Pixadog, but because of the difference in their heights, and her desire to continue to foster his dominant streak.
When she was close enough, she stopped, drawing the cord against the middle of her abdomen, curving across her ribcage. Tilting her head, she let her hair tumble forward over her shoulders. "Would you be adverse to a return visit?"
(Sure. biggrin )

"Mmmm..." He said, watching her, his smirk widening. She was good... damn good. A little on the short side for his taste (he had plans of growing soon, after all, and liked tall females to begin with) but good.
"My wolf might not appreciate that." He said, not looking too worried. "And I like my pets happy. They come in handy when I feel like killing something." He turned, glaring at Lyric who had crept closer, his teeth bared. "What else do you have to offer?"

"I was completely serious when I brought up our similarities." Even as she spoke, she gradually rotated her wrists, so that the braided cord wrapped itself around each slender limb. "As the sole two Shadow Feien currently in existance, I believe that we would be wise to take advantage of each other's experience." Once her wrists were somewhat secure, she tugged lightly at the cord, as if testing its strength.

"Take advantage, huh?" He replied, thinking of the things he had already dealt with. Sure, she might find it interesting, but something told him she would find a way to use it against him, as well. The fact that he owed a life debt to a man in a jungle somewhere. Or that he believed in life debts at all.
Hell, if he knew about that weakness in someone else he wouldn't hesitate to take advant-- He stopped, suddenly realizing that was exactly what had happened to him. "s**t." He muttered under his breath, before changing the subject.
"Well, darlin, you might not have noticed, but I'm just a juvenile. A kid. I don't have much... experience to share." He replied, staring her straight in the eye as he lied through his teeth.
((Take advantage, yeah, you hate me I can tell, but I can see you every niiight, freeee....))

Those full lips curved further, as she stared back into his eyes. "The extent of your experience now is not what I am interested in." Quantel stepped forward again, just enough where Silva would have to tilt his head backwards slightly in order to continue to maintain eye contact with her. "My intentions are that we learn from each other, experiment with each other, and, yes, use each other." As she continued to gaze at him, her wings shivered, as if in anticipation of the days to come.

He reached up, moving her hair behind her ear, his fingers lingering for a second on the flesh behind her ear, not caring a jot that he had to look up slightly. "Experiment, darlin? Like this?"
It amused him, now that he felt her falling into his area of expertise, so he rubbed the flesh slightly before withdrawing his hand, watching for her reaction.

Her wings trembled again, as her eyes fluttered, half-shutting. She purred, a melodious rumble in the back of her throat, her pulse quickening, just visible beneath her porcelain skin. Quantel leaned her head into his touch, then formed her lips into a moue of disappointment as he pulled away. Her eyes opened, heavy lidded, a chorus of tiny shadows swirling in their depths. "Please assure me that was merely a taste...
