Just inside the rundown portion of the city of London, where the walls were blackened and crumbling, or disgraced with crude lines of graffiti, and where houses –squished together and resembling something of those found in San Francisco – were mainly vacant and decrepit with shattered windows and age-stained slating, one could hear the melody of a violin stirring the otherwise silent night air.

Each note, as it was dragged off of its strings, seemed to bounce along each cobblestone and windowpane, slicing through the oncoming nightly chill and ground-clinging fog. It would flicker each greasy streetlamp’s bulb, disfiguring the shadows thrown on the ground for only a second before moving on to the next lamp and doing the same thing to it… as if luring and taunting passerby’s to become mesmerized and follow its path back to its maker, who sat on her rotting stoop, just inside the rundown portion of the city of London.

In the distance, some could faintly hear the clicking of her heels against the stone. The usual barefooted sorrow that wore little clothing was wearing a long jacket and high-heels that the models might wear. It was cold, and who knows where she got the clothes. However if she was determined to get them, then it happened in one way or another.

Her long, dark hair draped down her back and over her rear just slightly when it was not hovering in the either dead air or windiest of days. Her dark blue eyes looked to be a purple shade, and they glimmered in the night. To some, they knew exactly who this mysteriously beautiful being was. To others, she was just another on the streets.

"Damn fog...damn cold," Iyemina mumbled under her breath. Usually, this could be her type of weather, but it seemed that she was under the weather this time. Her teeth chattered slightly, arms crossed, neck lowered into the stylish jacket that cloaked her body. Suddenly, she heard a noise. Lifting her neck up, she looked around. Silence. Then the streetlight above her went out.

Raising an eyebrow, she had a suspision on who- better yet, what- it could be. Atleast, it better have been what she thought, or that person would be in heaps of trouble. She had met so many yet so few of her own kind lately...

"Anyone around, or am I making a fool of myself to the nothingness?"

The question of the other went unheard for it reached no ears to hear it...However, by simple coincidence, it seemed to have been answered as the notes of the still unseen violin and its player cut through the night again, this time carried by a light wind that skirted the ground and kicked up trash and what was once living foliage.

Said wind curled around the ankles of the other Sorrow in a chilling fashion, once more trying to convince something to follow.

Iyemina smirked, raising her eyebrow again. The silence and aura of something unseen intrigued her, and she followed as the fog insisted.

She walked several blocks, still trying to find what she was to find. Then it occured to Iyemina: where is the music coming from in this desolate area? She followed the sound, taking slower, softer steps. She was still a bit cold, and did not want to frighten the musician....or spirit.

Finally, Mina found herself in a clearing with a hooded, fully cloaked figure sitting on a bench. The musician continued to play, this time with a more haunting melody. No words were spoken, but the two beings were talking to each other. Iyemina's body language suggested interest, sexuality, everything she was. On the other hand, the other was reserved, calm, silent. Perhaps just as everything they were?

"Impressive."

"Old," the musician replied, and even though the music of the violin had ceased, the sound of its player's voice seemed to have carried on its melody in a silver belled tone.

Resting the ivory instrument in a silk-lined case to the side, a pale hand reached up and pulled back the hood, allowing the moon's pale light to shine onto Relique's milky features and not the porcelain mask that she normally adorned. it was then that she turned her head towards the Other, and it was then that one would noticed the dark blindfold pulled across her eyes and bridge of her nose, hiding the crimson orbs that emitted apprehension and fear.

"It's not wise to be moving about this area at these hours."
Relique spoke again, her tone still silver belled, but this time it was softer, and held a cooing note to it.

Iyemina gave Relíque a thin smile, though she was positive it would nt be returned. She helped her self to sit next to the silver one with an almost hypnotic voice. Iyemina pulled a strand of hair behind her ear, taking note that it was not as cold or foggy as it had been.

"I would say the same to you, but you seem pretty well protected." To some, that might have seemed like an insult or a compliment. To a being of the azoth and of human flesh and blood, it was only natural.

She turned to her fellow being, noting how she fit this time of day. She tilted her head slightly to get a better look, then noticed she was staring. "This is the second time we have met. It must mean something." Mina smirked and rolled her eyes.

A small smirk spread itseld over the Sorrow's pale lips and she turned slightly to place the violin bow it its case alongside the intrument.

"Of course it means something," she stated in a matter-of-fact tone as she turned back towards the dark-haired Sorrow. The small smirk was still on her lips, and despite the blindfold, it was obvious that there was the slightest twinkle in her eye.

Iyemina was shocked to see a smirk come over Relíque's lips and for such a "long" period of time. There was more to this one than meets the eye.

"We are all coming together, I see. I have not only met you and Windia, but two others. One even knew my..." She stopped, taking a second before saying the next word. "...brother."

A silver brow visibly rose at Mina's words and soon some curiosity started to grow within Relique's mind.

"Who?" She was eager, but kept that notion hidden and let her voice keep to the usual chiming coo. The silver Sorrow asked nothing about the other's brother and showed no hint that she had even heard that last word... she had decided she'd bring it up later, if the moment asked for it, that is.

She crossed her arms, looking around to see if anyone else was lurking at these late hours of the night. When Mina spotted no one, she turned back to her companion.

"Ennui and Rach were their names. You seem to be older than me, do you know them?" She watched Relíque closely to see if she could spot a difference in her appearance. However, no difference...

When the names hit her ears, she rose a brow once more and then looked out in front of her. With a small nod to herself in a personal understanding, she leaned back into the park bench, fingers steepleing sideways in her lap.

" I know Ennui...and this Rach...his name sounds familiar, but I don't believe I've ever met him before. Could you describe him?"
PostPosted: Tue Jun 05, 2007 8:31 pm

So, Relíque knew Ennui? Iyemina was curious to know how, but she would get there later.

"Rach seems to be very violent and temperamental. He also is bloody, which some blood stains on his clothes. It was obvious to the people walking by us that he was....not someone to stand with. He knew my brother, and seemed to have a past with him. What, he would not say."

A cold breeze blew, and again Mina tucked her head in her coat. She shivered, turning to the silver one. "Might I inquire to know how you met Ennui?"

Again the Sorrow nodded to herself, her body position unchanged even as the wind fluttered through her shoulder length hair and tussled her bangs across her forehead and nose. She acted as if she wasn't going to answer, or comment on anything that had just been said, however her voice finally broke through a few moments later.

"Rach..."
she started, rolling the name and description around in her head for a second before continuing, "simply judging by his description, I wouldn't expect him to tell you anything about the relationship with your brother." She gave a small exhaled snort as and ending to that before inhaling deeply.

"As for Ennui," she began again, and this time exhaled in some sort of sigh - though it was a sigh that didn't connect with any problematic thoughts; it was just a sigh - before continuing on, but she steered her answer to not directly answer the question asked. "I recently saw Ennui while in the park over by one of the cathedrals. He invited me for some sort of lunch there...I never should've accepted; I had forgotten the thing I hate most." Relique left off with that, her answer probably confusing to the other Sorrow...but that was her nature.

Iyemina uncrossed her arms, looking up at the stars. "Knowing someone like Rach, I wouldn't doubt it. He seems like the type of person that would take his secrets to the grave."

Mina listened to Relíque sigh. It sounded eerie, like chimes blowing in the winter morning. She did not mind, however, and found it more comforting than what some might consider. Iyemina trusted her friend, though she knew that Relíque might take her secrets to the grave as well. She coughed, wondering if somehow the crazy Winda had met Rach. Why, is was just a random thought.

"Ennui seems to have a lot of knowledge. He was very open with me, almost a bit too much. He blabbed to me more than I do to you." She released a tiny laugh.

"Really, now?" She asked, her tone actually holding surprise. She then let a small "hmmph", which was supposed to serve as some sort of laugh, before she continued on. "He is a bit open at times, though not the biggest asker of questions. I believe I took that honor before the second half of our meeting."

She paused for a minute, as if contimplating something with herself, and then added, "I have the feeling that my meeting with him went differently then yours, though."

(I'm not going to say all too much about the second half of their meeting since uh, well, xD; the RP isn't done yet. )
