This is a crossover between Ouran High School Host Club, a romantic comedy anime about the lighthearted antics of the Host Club and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, a dark horror anime about the mysteries of a small Japanese village called Hinamizawa village, where every year on the night of Watanagashi festival, one person dies and one person dissapears.

Some of you are thinking, "But Luunna, I've never seen Higurashi no whatever!" Well, first off, I pity you. Go hunt it down. Second, never fear! All will be explained in time! Now, others are thinking, "That's such an odd mix! Why do you have the time to think of this?!" Well, dur it's an odd mix, that's why it's fun! And also, yeah, I have too much time on my hands. WHATCHOO GONNA DO ABOUT IT? D:<

The way this will work is we'll do one version of the story. Then when we decide that it's done, we start over from the beginning, but we'll have to do things differently with a different killer. This is done to replicate the "Endless June" part of the storyline.

Hinamizawa Village

An average, tiny village in Japan where everyone knows one another. Innocent enough... To those who don't know any better. Hinamizawa has a truly dark past, where humans were sacrificed to Oyashiro-Sama, the god of the village. In this small country village, there are three houses of power: The Sonozaki house, currently holding the most power, The Furude house, whose only living heir is a very young girl named Rika and The Kimiyoshi house.

Five years ago, businessmen from Tokyo came to the small village and wanted to build a dam, which would put the entire village underwater. All hell broke loose as the village was divided. The dam supporters were discriminated against and harassed by the rest of the village. What was kept secret, though, was the true cause of the dam's halt.

People say it was because of the protester's adamant actions. This is not the case. One of the dam workers was found dead and dismembered at the sight. All of the body parts but one arm was found. Another disappeared with no trace.

Since then, the same thing has happened every Watanagashi- One person dies and another disappears or is "demoned away," as the villagers say. The deaths and disappearances around Watanagashi festival are said to be the work of Oyashiro-Sama's curse. Any others are treated the same and are not investigated. The curse affects those who were or closely related to Dam supporters and people who are born in the village, then leave.
