The day was just another day. The rains had made the air humid and warm. The sky retained a grey cast, even though it stopped raining late into the night. Lucario stood still in the blades of the wet grass. Around his hooves, he had picked up bits of dirt, from his early afternoon wanderings. Where to now? Why did he stop? That's right, the call of hunger was knocking on his body. Leaning down swiftly, he began to munch at the cold, water dressed grass. It was delicious, but he took no time to savor it's sweet taste. He ate with method, wasting no time on filling his large belly. He wasn't sloppy, just quick. He intended on eating till his belly was full, that way he could carry on...doing whatever it is he does...without another interuption.

Just another day to most, but no two days were ever the same for this azure unicorn. Often a mix between skittish and hostile, she could slip fully into one or the other without a moment's notice. There were other facets, but they could be rare. And so Tear trotted along, shying away from strangely shaped shadows and odd noises. She almost didn't notice the stranger at first, until his scent entered delicately flared nostrils. Then she stopped and simply looked, wary.

Satisfaction began to fill his stomach. He didn't realize how hungry he had been, until he actually started eating. The pugnent smell of the cut grass from his teeth was invaded by a softer scent. Continuing his feast, he raised his eyes to look around in a hunt for the sweet smell. When his eyes looked over to a mare in the clear, he almost paused to stare. Yes, she was absolutely stunning, but he hadn't finished his meal yet. He ate with a new purpose though, not to be full, but to just not be eating at this moment. Now his hunger was more bothersome than ever.

Tear snorted and shifted from one hoof to another lightly, something almost like a growl rattling deep in her throat. Patience was seldom something she cared to practice unless she was the one making another wait. The end of her tail flicked slightly, one side to the other.
Flick...flick...flick.
She could turn the tables on this one...she'd make him wait.

Lucario could eat forever, it really wasn't that filling after all. His ears tuned in to the sound of her discontent. Then, making his way closer to the mare, and finishing up with grazing, he raised his head up above her. With a swift movement to the side, he wiped his mouth on his chest. Straightning himself, he stood there tall, not saying a word. He shifted his eyes and looked to her horn. It was completly different from the spike on his chest, and the two at his hooves. It looked fragile, and delicate, yet he knew it was as tuff as bone.
He watched as the sun glinted the mare with sparkle, he listened as her tail beat the air, he waited for whatever would happen next..

The azure unicorn was becoming more and more convinced that this stallion was playing a waiting game with her, and it was infuriating. The more he made her wait, the more she seethed within, until he finally wiped his mouth on his chest. Something snapped in Tear, and so did her jaws, reaching for his hide.
