The central meeting place of the shinigami, at the heart of Seireitei. Both in means of protection, and placement, this is the headquarters of the top shinigami who take orders directly from the Captain-Commander, as well as from Central 46. This is far below Sokyoku hill, where the Senzaikyu lies.
Recently, with the advent of the position of Captain being awarded to a shinigami, and with the rising threat of those from Hell, Yamamoto has called the teachers, and higher ranking shinigami to order, and placed them in squads which he has dubbed the Gotei 13. Shinigami, after completing all training on Sokyoku Hill, will be receiving placement in one of the squads, under a captain and vice captain.

Yamamoto stood with his hands poised on his cane, from his perch in the open window, staring out across Seireitei. He'd always thought something like this was coming, but he'd never been certain when. Fingers tensed on the wood of the cane's handle, and he straightened. He could already feel him approaching.

Soon after the fight and the females burial was over with, Shinrei starts to walk back home, back to Seretei filled with questions and anger the young man makes his way though the streets of Soul Society heading straight to the only man who could possibly give him and answer. Still half naked Shinrei knocks on the door of the room where Yamamoto was. "Hope Yama-jii doesn't care about my current appearance..." "Yamamoto-sensei, is me Shinrei, I have returned from Hueco mundo, carring with me not only bad news of disaster but also something you should take a look at." He awaits in front of the door waiting for permission to enter.

"Enter," his voice was stern but soft, from where he stood. His hands still resting on his cane. He had no doubt that the young man had bad news, but it was better to hear his version.

Shinrei walks in and stands right behind Yamamoto not bowing like he used to in the past, it was not that he lost respect of the elder man but at this moment he didn't saw Yamamoto as a god nor as a worthy opponent he saw him as another shinigami with a place in the top. "I will start from the biggining, on that training exercise on your training ground eats of Seretei...once you left a certain hollow appeared tree nights later...that hollow was strong like any other and unlike the rest of them it's phisical appearance was that of a female human. she wore strange cloths similar to those of a shinigami and carried a sword, not like my zanpakutou but still a sword..."
He looks away from him and walks closer to one of the windows. Looking though the window he takes a deep breath before letting it out. "That woman caused a strange feeling on me...a feeling strong enough for me to follow her into hueco mundo even as I was a simple student...that I still am...once there I was unable to find her...All I found was that stone..." He looks away and then turns to look at Yamamoto.
"I was also attacked by some strange man on my way here, really strong, strong enough to stand a fight with me one on one for more than one minute...he is not that important but his boss...he is way beyond our imagination"

He rapped his cane against the ground with a steady thump, one Shinrei had finished talking, still facing away from him.
"Hell Shinigami. Not seen during your lifetime. And I wish, not seen during mine," a soft sigh, as he nodded his head.
"There are two students I'd like you to go train. One of them is.. a descendant of these Hell Shinigami," a terse moment of silence, before his head dropped forward.
"And the other student is similar to you. He houses a hollow. I'm certain you know of this student.. you once decided to take him mountain climbing," a curt glance cut back over his shoulder at Shinrei, before his eyes swiveled back forward again.
"Keep the girl away for the time being. We don't want her being lured back to the other side of her heritage. As for the other student. He is lost. You are the best person to offer him guidance," then, softly, "you're dismissed, Shinrei. Don't disappoint," and the old man was staring outward again, seemingly ignoring the other man in the room with him.

Shinrei nods and walks away slowly as he thinks about what th eold man just said. "Yama-jii has stared to go straight to busyness...or maybe he is just really senile..." "One thing before I go....you know I'm still an academy student for the records...so won't it be suspicious for me to take two students under my wings ?" He looks at the old man wondering what he been doing all this time that has changed him so much.

He remained silent for a moment, before a smirk spread across his face. The old man had a little humor.
"Didn't you know, Shinrei? Since this started I've been thinking. I'm going to form a special set of squads. Squads that will be tasked with the defense of all Soul Society. Thirteen squads, each with their own purpose. For the time being.. you'll be captain of the first squad. I'm too old for this," he gestured slightly, and another shinigami stepped forward, holding a hakama with the symbol for 'one' on the back of it, inside a diagonal symbol.
"You're not a student anymore. You haven't been for quite some time," the old man turned to face him, and revealed the hakama he was holding himself, this one, bearing no number inside the symbol.
"If you abuse your position, I'll beat you myself. Now get out of my office."

Shinrei takes the cloak without saying much. He was in shock too scared of saying a stupid thing. Facing such responsibility ment a lot to him. Soul Society, was not ruined by elitism and all those little noble houses gathering power for themselves. He had always wanted to change that and now he had the power too. "I see...I accept this great responsibility but...since I'm the new head of Soul Society doesn't this means this is my office now ?" He asked as he looked at the old man with a smile. "See you later Yama-jii" He waved as he walked out of the office and headed to hi sold room. So long had it been since he changed cloths took a bad and ate food. Now was the time to do all things. -insert clip of Shinrei doing all that-.
Later in the morning Shinrei wakes up and changes into his Shinigami outfit placing the while robe over his shoulders and his zanpakutou on his cloth belt. "Time to go meet those kids" He said as he walked away slowly yawning and cursing life in the inside.
