A "brood" i believe is a collection of young birds that are seen together usualy assumed to be a family.
ex. "A brood of eggs" "A chicken and her brood..." "That duck had a brood of ducklings with her."
This term can also be used to describe people however.
ex. "Look out, aunt mary is coming with her brood tonight." "There was this woman sitting in the corner with her brood. They were absoulte brats, every one of them."

My god. I know REAL vampires and none of them are like this! Even I'm technically a vampire, and this offends me! If I knew where this kid was, he'd be in a world of hurt! I will just have to pray the rest of my group does not catch wind of this guy or he wouldn't last very long at all.
