Days In Silence ~In an interview at fainme G-corp was pronounced dead by VO and L0che.
SykoSilver; "Are we done with corporations like G CORP and S CORP yet?"
Vo/L0cke; "G Corp is officially done, but the possible starting of other corporations depends on where the story goes."
I was reading through an interview I found on the sight- mostly for the battle system stuff, but I came across this section confirming that G-corp is never coming back. Sad really because G-corp has been there for us for the better part of 4 years, but you can not do anything about Gaia ambitions. ~ 
This was posted in the G CORP fan thread last night.
I seriously doubt the validity of these claims.
If Gaia was to kill G CORP it would be the stupidest thing they've ever done.
Legion we have a new task
to seek out the source of this rumor and put it to rest!

Yeah you can't just get rid of G-corp. . . its a centerpoint and plot device XD

If they did they'd be discarding the bread and butter of Gaian plot.
EVERYONE on Gaia loves G CORP and to get rid of it would be a grave mistake.

Ah - but just because G corp goes down, doesn't mean it'll take all the research with it - they did say there may be other corps - which could go for some of the other theories - i.e V-Corp (Von-Helsons and their box from X) or even X-Corp.
I don't neccesarily think it's a bad thing - just that perhaps Gambino's involvement has come to an end! domokun

Hmm. . . Yeah, and while I love G-corp and X. . . I don't really like the Gambino's themselves. . . mostly because they are cliche-ing one of my favourite subjects. . .

It's very likely that G Corp will stop being used in Gaian plots.
They've used it many times before, and we learned in the Zurg plot that they probably want change.
I doubt it will be killed, it will just slip into mild obscurity.
I predict the main characters (i.e. X) will still be in the plots, but not involved with the actual G Corp.
