Okay, so its probably pretty safe to assume that most people on Gaia are gamers. I mean, video games are awesome, they let us experience a world in which we are actually the heroes. The entire world contained within the game is reliant on our success in it. Yet there are some heroes that we enjoy being more than others. Whether its Link from Legend of Zelda, Snake from Metal Gear, or those nifty little blocks from Tetris, there are games and characters we hold near and dear to our hearts. Who are these characters that have most captured your imagination? What games have been too addictive to stop playing long enough to bathe or eat? Original Poll Results

Em . . . well I know its early on Saturday, but I actually thought people would have said soemthing by now. Therefor, I'm going to start the mighty discussion myself. See how fabulous I am?
Okay, here's a few things to bicker over.
Leon Kennedy is a pretty boy smartass. How will we survive the zombies without hair gel!
Link looks like a girl . . . and all he says is hiiiaaaa! Dare I mention Windwaker?
Snake eats bugs. Nuff said.
Dante, oh yes, the buttwings will save you.
Sephiroth, the man rides a giant chicken! Need I say more?

flamming famous idolistic characters? Not the wisest move general, i think that obese bird may be weighing your brain down.

extreme distaste for rpg's intact i still feel the need to point out that cloud has ridden upon a chocabo and not sephiroth.

Lol, i flame to elicit reactions. No one was posting, so I decided to say things that would irritate people and hopefully make them reply to me. By the way, I even flamed some of my favorite characters to make my point.

Yes, well I have never played the game series, and i misunderstood what you were telling me when I asked for a way to make fun of sephiroth. i could change it to "Cloud rides a giant chicken". Then what?

I don't really know what my favorite video game cahracter is, personally. I really like the Legend of Zelda games, but truthfully, Link doesn't have much of a personality. Snake amuses the living daylights out of me, but I wouldn't consider him my favorite since I think I only ever played one metal gear game. Sad, I know. I could say one of the characters from Resident Evil, but they don't really interest me all that much. I mean, I got kind of tired of the Leon Kennedy obsession I witnessed after RE4 came out and it was kind of ridiculous. I do really like Kingdom Hearts, but the characters can be really cheesy. I really liked the villains in that game, actually. I think Riku was my favorite character. I felt like he was the only character that really made sacrifices to be the hero. I mean, he started out on the wrong team and whatnot, but eventually he starts down the mighty path for redemption and soforth and whatnot. Maybe Epona is my favorite character, but she was kind of rude in the Twilight Princess game. Okay that is enough Ranting...

personally i think Dante should be up there cuz he'z got the guns and the swords to win aginast every one up there...altho i think he'd have some problems with Cloud and Sephiroth *i love 'em both but Dante is just cooler*
