I have to say that I really respect Corey's voice. Though I love his screams and I know lately he has just been yelling probaly because of losing his voice he still sounds awesome.
I really think his regular singing voice, like the slow part of The Nameless and other songs sounds better than his 'hardcore' voice.
This may sound dorky, but whatever, but people say the way how I sing reminds me of his voice.

I can scream better, but the "vocal" parts are getting a little bit harder. My advice towards you. Stay away from cokes and stuff, also beers and such. They dry your throat, which makes your voice worse. Drink much water. Also before you scream drink milk or something, it will coat your throat so it damages your throat less.

I knew about the water, but I never thought about milk. Thank you. I am pretty sure it will make me do better. Of coarse I am going to have my screw ups. I already have. I am the drummer and lead singer right now, because we have no one to fill the spot for drummer. I am getting used to doing it though, it's not as hard for me now as it was when I first started.

corey can scream and he can put alot of rage in the music but he can also sing and be very melodic htats why i respect him as a singer so much
