There are no words to describe how squicked I am.
Actually, the thread title reminded me-- I've been wondering for a while if the Doctor actually does ever say anything like that. I've never ever heard him say anything like "Oh, Rassilon" or anything. But you always read it in fanfiction.

Lullabee There are no words to describe how squicked I am. o.O Please define squicked for me? And I have heard the Doctor say Rassilon. I forget which episode it was in but I believe it was the Fourth Doctor that said it. Or Fifth... it was somewhere around that era.

Captain Janeway Lullabee There are no words to describe how squicked I am. o.O Please define squicked for me? And I have heard the Doctor say Rassilon. I forget which episode it was in but I believe it was the Fourth Doctor that said it. Or Fifth... it was somewhere around that era. Squicked-- disgusted, but a bit sillier. And generally, wherever I've seen it used, it sort of suggests that whatever is so disgusting is a thought no normal person should ever have in their head. Or something like that. So disgusting you're going to have to go wash your brain out. Or be sick.
Perhaps it means you squealed with horror and then were sick. I don't know.
And thanks for clearing that up, about Rassilon.

You guys do understand that's NOT what is really going on there, right? smile The poor quality of the newspaper image is making the figures look close together. Susan is back a ways & the Docotr has his hand raised in a "shush" or "just a moment" or "come here" type of gesture, is all. Remember back then Doctor Who was strictly considered a kids show. No way a newspaper would have shown an image like that about a kids show back in the 60's, definately not without the text below commenting on it!

Plus, the entire hand is definitely visible, so the back of his hand would have to be what would be touching...but my first reaction was "???? Uh...what???"

It's just one of those things like this picture where the picture inadvertently turned out a bit odd. But how very odd it turned out. It's always kind of amusing with those sorts of unintentionally humorous pictures when their expressions seem to match up with what looks to be going on. They look like someone caught them in the TARDIS coat closet! xd
But, yeah. It's obviously not supposed to look that way at all.
