General Rules Welcome to the Necronin Army! We're glad that you have taken interest in our quest for global domination and utter destruction of our enemies. First of all, we'd like to thank you for your interest and your donations of time or gold! We know that money is tight in times like these, but we appreciate every single piece of gold! Now, I suppose you're wondering what exactly it is that you've gotten yourself involved with. Well, our goal is to start a role-play styled war of sorts in which we will slowly but surely take over forums, towns, and occupy them with our demonic forces. While there is no dress code, we do encourage our members to please present themselves with at least some clothing. A naked person never struck fear into the hearts of their goody-two-shoes enemies. That being said, if you have any questions, please post here in our forums, or feel free to PM any of the Generals (Or Vice-Captains) with your questions. If you've alwasy wanted to be a dark warrior, this is the place for you, and we intend to see you get all the glory and recognition you so deeply desire! However, dishonor will not be tolerated. We are a dark army, but we still follow the universal laws of Gaia. Nothing says "PWNED" like a head on a pike! 1. Gaia TOS 2. Participation is required. You are expected to participate by posting at least once a month. Donations are not equal to participation. 3. Do not ask to be promoted to crew member. The staff will choose who we want to be promoted, and when you ask, it makes your chances much less likely. 4. Keep IRL problems in the real world. Don't bring your fights into the guild. 5. Although we are an evil army, we're not jerks, be nice to each other and other people on Gaia. We don't want to develop a bad reputation!

Necronin Army Mule So as you may have noticed, there is a general named " necroninarmy". This is not an excessively devoted member of our mighty army, but rather a mule account created for the purpose of having a neutral ground to which donations can be made. We use our mule account for a variety of reasons, and the reason that he/it is a general is simply so that when one of the generals is signed into the account, we are able to do everything that we can do in our own accounts without switching back. Here is a brief list of the things we use the mule account for. 1. Donations - necroninarmy is used as a place to store our finds as we work toward purchasing different items for the guild. Mostly, the gold is used to buy a prize for the contests! 2. Mass Messaging - From time to time we like to send out announcements to our members about what is going on in our guild. For example, I sent out a PM to announce our contests, but since everyone wasn't on my friends list, I was required to send eighteen PMs one by one (at that time there were fewer members). That is why we ask you to PLEASE ACCEPT NECRONINARMY'S FRIEND REQUEST, it simply makes it easier for us to get you the information. NOTICE: Because of the large number of members now in the guild (hurray!), as of 08/01/07 we will no longer be sending out individual messages to members who have not added necroninarmy to their friends list. It has become too time consuming to send an additional dozen PMs for each announcement. If you do not want to add necroninarmy, please check the guild regularly for updates.3. Headquarters - We have decided to purchase necroninarmy a house and set it up as our headquarters. This idea was suggested by XragdollXagX and we followed through with it. This enables us to have a place where we can always meet up with other members of the Necronin Army (providing that there are other members visiting at the time). Please view the following post for more information.

Necronin Army Headquarters Following an idea presented by XragdollXagX, we have purchased a house on our mule account. You can access it through the mule's profile page (just look up necroninarmy) or by clicking on this link: www.gaiaonline.com/homes?user=7220866. Also, I have been having some difficulty using the above listed link. It seems to mainly be a problem with the computer I'm using, though, so I am also including here the address of both the house and town that it is in so that you can easily find it. Town Address: 9 Barton 019119 House Address: 29 Barton 019119 From time to time we will hold meetings, rallies, and other gatherings at this location. This gives us a set location to always be able to find other Necronin Army Warriors, or to be able to find one another when meeting in towns. The Necronin Army Headquarters is run virtually entirely on donations from members from the guild. Any donations of gold or furniture should be sent directly to necroninarmy, but if you would prefer to send it to one of the mods, we will make sure that it gets moved along to where it is supposed to be. We have finally reached our goal to upgrade the house. Thanks to generous donations from ragdoll and arisuhime any further "house" donations will go to furnish our headquarters in the finest items in Gaia.

Donations There are two ways to donate: 1) Directly to the Guild 2) Donation to Mule Account We would like to thank those of you who have contributed your time or money to the growth of the guild. The gold that has been donated directly into the guild has gone to fund new subforums. Those of you who donated to our mule account have helped to fund the upgrade to our headquarters. We thank you all very much. Our donations are used for a variety of purposes. When money is donated to the guild on the entry page, we are only able to use it to create new subforums. We would prefer that donations are sent to the mule account ( necroninarmy) but we understand if you'd rather just send it directly to the guild. We just can't pull it out to purchase prizes for competitions. Donations to the mule account do not have to be gold. Furniture for the Headquarters or clothing for the mule are both appreciated.

Advertizement Thread This thread is out in the main world of Gaia and serves two purposes. The first is to let everyone out there know that we exist and that we want them to join our army. The second reason is to announce to the world those that have joined our army. Whenever a new member joins, I try to make sure and post up there that they have joined our army. Sometimes it gets a little difficult to keep up with now that we have so many members, but I do my best. If I forget to announce you and you want to be, please PM me (Aloreina) and I'll fix it right away! Go in and post every once in a while to keep us at the top of the list! http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=27559245

Battlemasters So, you're probably wondering what exactly these people are. They are listed on the first post of every RP thread and they are essentially assigned to that area alone. They're sort of the authority there, and mostly you'll find that they spend most of their time frolicking about in their own thread. Their main purpose is to settle disputes and make sure that no one is godmodding or making the RP less fun for everyone else. Of course, if the battlemaster is the one involved in the dispute, one of the other moderators of the guild will step in and help resolve it. There are a few prerequisites for being a Battlemaster. First of all, you must be a moderator (Captain, Vice-Captain, or Crew member). Second, you must be mostly literate. This is because the voice of reason must be understandable. Also, you have to be hand-picked or offered the job. Just because you want to be a battlemaster, doesn't mean you will be. And, here's a list of our current Battlemasters (as of 03/11/0 cool , but it's always subject to change. Eh, oh well. Enjoy! Army Rankings We have noticed that there are members in our guild who actively participate as well as members who barely ever participate. To address this fact, we have decided to introduce a brand-new ranking system, so you know how you compare to the other people in the guild. This ranking system awards virtually anything that you do for the guild, including posts, recruiting, and even coming up with new ideas. We decided to do this because people don't really have a reason to come into the guild and to post, but maybe if there's something they can earn (and prestige is often a great motivator in virtually every culture around the world) perhaps people will be more interested. A soldier in the Necronin Army starts out at the rank of Recruit Private and can work his way up through twenty levels. At the level of Colonel, a promotion to Crew status is automatic. For those already at Crew level, they can continue on their way to becoming Major General, at which point Lord Necros may choose to promote them to Vice Captain ranking. It's all about participation people. Certain ranks (which ones are not yet going to be revealed) will earn the soldier an actual prize. Here is the list of Ranks and the number of points an individual must earn to reach the next level! And to help you on your quest to the top, here's a brief guide to how you can earn merits and how many merits you can earn for each thing. Er . . . that sentence didn't make much sense, but that's okay! How to Earn Merits 1. POSTING - (1 merit per 5 posts) This guild, while bent on global domination, is also focused on posting, as it is indeed a guild and in order to be a success, we must POST.
2. RECRUITMENT - (15 merits per Recruit) We always need new members. Make sure your recruits say who reccommended them to the guild so we know who to give points to!
3. DONATIONS - (1 merit per 100g donated to the guild home page; 1 merit per 75g donated to the guild mule necroninarmy) We really would like to be able to buy contest prizes with the guild donations, but we can't access any gold donated directly to the guild for anything but new subforums. That's why you'll earn more merits for donating gold that we can actually use to buy items for the guild. Items donated will be valued by their fair market value AT THE TIME OF DONATION.
4. CONTESTS - (5 merits for participation; 20 merits for winning) Although the focus of this guild isn't really contests, people often put a lot of work into their entries and should get something out of it, even if they don't win. For that reason, everyone gets merits when they participate!
5. REWARD - (variable) Sometimes your Generals or Lord Necros will decide that you deserve some extra merits. I can't tell you what would inspire this gift, because it hasn't happened yet.
6. PROPAGANDA - (1 merit per 2 posts) Hey look! Its a new way to earn merits! Go to the guild propaganda forum on the GGN and post to keep our thread at the top of the list and encourage new members. Since its a pain in the butt to go clear over there, I'm going to give more merits for it! Enjoy! http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=27559245 A Few Things to Remember 1. Aloreina is human. Barely so, but still, she is not a machine who can perpetually update ranks. Her intention is to do it weekly. Currently she is the only one maintaining the brand-new ranking system and frankly it is a buttload of work, so be patient. 2. Notify the mule account or Aloreina if you decide to change your account name. There are nearly 100 members and it is impossible to remember who had how many points when their names change. If you don't want to lose your rank, let Aloreina know you're changing your name. 3. If your recruits don't say you recruited them, how are we to know that you did? If they don't tell us, be sure you do because you won't get any merits if we don't know.

Spam Control The spam in this guild tends to get out of control. Seriously. Ridiculous. So, from now on, spamming important/announcement threads is not allowed. Only on-topic posts will be allowed. The rest will be deleted. This isn't to be mean, but we do need some measure of order. You can spam everything you want excepting the following threads: -Guild Updates -Rules and Other Important Information (Please Read) -Suggestions -Guild Ranks Please continue the chaos in all other threads as we do. The reason that I've decided to lay down the line on these four threads is that I cannot find information when I need it anymore. Also, when someone makes a suggestion or a valid on-topic statement, it gets swallowed up by the random joy.
