Several of the doctors skittered away from the angry experiment as she walked, no...stomped down the hallway towards where ever the place led.
Diana was steaming; she had awoken to find herself alone in his room with a weird insect bite on her arm, all red and swollen. Thankfully, it had gone some, but it still itched like no tomorrow. And the itch was not helping her mood.
Spying a janitors' cart just a bit further ahead, Diana slid over and with one foot on the side (she has her hands in her pockets), pushed it down the hall and caused it to crash into someones' office door. They came out, red faced and swearing at her because of the disturbance she caused.
Diana was just plain amused by the reaction.
"Sorry, sir!" She spoke with a sly smile, one that promised furture mischief: "It won't happen again."

Kira walked out of her room, stretching. She'd slept well the night before, and even though the clothes Hayden had brought for her were a little too big, she managed to make them fit well enough.
Hearing all of the commotion going on out side her room, she sweat droped. "Wooh, didn't know this place was under construction...." She muttered, then noticed why; another girl was out in the hallway and she looked pissed.
"Hi!" She smiled, walking up to the girl. "I'm Kira Hiromi. Is kicking a Janator cart a normal morning routine or is this just something special this morning?"

As the male doctor finished cursing at Diana and stomped back into his office, looking like he was bordering on having a coronary, a young female doctor slipped into the hall. She was clutching a clipboard close to her chest and looked like she'd much rather be peering into a microscope at the moment. In fact, she'd much rather be anywhere else than here.
Reaching up to adjust her glasses, she braced herself and moved into the hallway. "Excuse me, could I help you girls? You really shouldn't be here causing such a commotion right now." She frowned sternly, eying the two young women. What were they doing here? Shouldn't they be in their rooms and out of the way or something?

Diana cocked her head, caught between answering the lady doctor and the young girl that had approached her from behind. She smirked, choosing the latter of the two; personally, she just didn't feel like answering to a white coat at the moment.
Turning a 180, Diana grinned at the girl known as Kira.
"Kira, eh? Nice name.....I like it, it suits ya."
Diana bowed at Kira in a friendly way before straightening up again.
"I'm Diana Skyrider, and no, kicking carts isn't a morning thing....but it is one of my favorite ways to pass the time."

Kira felt her face redden in embrassment as the female doctor adressed them, then smiled to Diana. "It's a pleasure to meet you."
She then looked back to the female doctor. "I'm sorry for the commotion, but is there any way I can speak to the doctor who treated a heat stroke patient yesterday?"

The doctor sighed tiredly, surveying the chaos and disorder in the hallway. "And you had to destroy a janitor's cart to do it? Phil won't be happy about this," she muttered, shaking her head.
Looking back at Kira and pointedly ignoring Diana's comments, she scribbled something on her clipboard, the looked back up. "What room are you staying in? It'd help if I knew that in order to check. You'd be surprised how many heat stroke cases we get," she admitted honestly. She wasn't too happy about getting sent out to deal with the experiments; this was not in her job description. She was hired for lab work; not as a psychologist. But, what could she do? Complain to Dr. Hakan? Not likely.

Diana listened as the young gal......Kira was her name.....and the lady-doc talked about an incident that happened yesterday. Heat-stroke? Dang...that was never a fun thing.
Bored, but not quite wanting to leave just yet, Diana casually strolled over and looked over her shoulder at the clipboard the doc was holding.
"Um...miss? You do realize that is chicken-scratch....right?"
She smirked playfully at the that comment...Oh, how she simply loved pushing other peoples' buttons.

"Er, I believe my room number's 26.... I think..." She had only glimpsed at it when she left, so she wasn't sure.
Hearing Diana's comment, Kira let out a nervous laugh. That's generally how doctors write." She remembered her room mate who had perfect penmanship until it came to anatomy and nursing terms. "I heard from one of my pre-nursing room mates in college that it's because of all the complicated spellings..."

"Only if you can't read," the doctor responded automatically, deadpan. Already, she didn't like Diana...she was going to have issues with this one.
"Alright...Room #026...Kira Hiromi, yes? That's you, I assume?" She frowned, looking at the clipboard again. "Someone left the Dr.'s Name space blank...that's odd. Well, I'm sure we can find someone who knows who treated you. If you'll give me just a few minutes, I'll make some calls for you."
Excusing herself, she ducked back into her office to find out what lazy slacker wasn't doing their job THIS time.

Diana laughed until the nurses' comment reached her ears. That's when her annoyance level went up....for the fifteenth time today. Watching as the lady-doc slipped back into that office, an idea crept into Dias' already evil mind. Spinning around, she grabbed Kiras' hand and gently pulled her down the hallway.
"That lady-doc is going to take forever; you realize that, right? So....let us go exploring for a bit!"

Kira looked up at the Diana and started to protest. "She said it would only take a few minutes. Why don't we wait five minutes, and if she's not back, we can explore?"
On normal occasions, she would have grinned and followed after the girl; causing mischief was normally a fun thing she liked. In this case, however, she really needed to get back home, and that meant talking to the doctor that had treated her.

"What do you mean, 'I don't have security clearance for that?' What sort of security level do I need just to find out who treated this girl?"
A pause.
"YOU don't have security clearance? Then why am I wasting my time talking to you?!? Get someone on this line that can actually help me before I come down there to get the information myself!"
Sinking into her desk chair tiredly, she raised her glasses and rubbed the bridge of her nose with two fingers. Why was there so much incompetence? Why did it all seem to congregate around her? Why did she have to deal with it all?
Her shouts had to have been heard in the hallway; there was no doubt of that. Considering her waning patience, the researcher couldn't say that she particularly cared at the moment. At this rate, she had a feeling she'd be in here for a while.

Diana paced down the hallways, Kira in tow right behind her. The trainer was grinning from ear to ear as she kept looking for a place to hangout until the doc found out that she and her friend had vanished.
Stopping, she stared at the door labeled: "Lounge" for a few moments. Finally, she made a decision.
"C'mon Kira! Let's hangout in here!"
Tugging on Kiras' arm, Diana pulled open the door and dragged Kira inside.

As she was dragged off, Kira looked back to where the doctor had dissapeared to, feeling bad for leaving without saying anything. She focused back to Diana and smiled, nodding. "Alright! Sounds like a good place!" Shrugging off her guilt, she smiled happily, walking in.

Letting out a cry of frustration, the researcher finally slammed the phone receiver back down onto the stand. One could only listen to so much 'elevator waiting music' before they lost their ever-lovin' minds. Snatching up her clipboard, she stalked over to the door and threw it open. "Look, I'm going to have to go down to records myself and..."
And they were gone. Lovely.
She hesitated now. She could go get the information from Records and probably end up with a migraine in the process...or she could forget the whole matter and go back into her office...and lock the door...for the rest of the day. It was tempting.
She noted quietly that the mess in the hallway was almost cleaned up by now. Crossing her arms, she seemed to ponder something for a moment.
Then, she turned around and disappeared into her office again, the door shutting quietly behind her.
Click.
