Blue entered the arena and looked around him. In the misty air he could see a number of stony columns, which if he were still a thief he would be able to jump from.
Across the arena he could also see the young and pretty female mage whom had challenged him. Today, in his half thief/half knight armour, he would see what she could do.

Rooty enters the arena and stares at the large pillars and looks over at her opponent, shaded by a cloud of dust. All is silent as the young mage calculates her imminent doom.

Blue shuddered as the spell struck him from afar. He knew this mage had potential but didn't know that she was so powerful at this moment.
"Watch where you point that wand, Mage!" He taunted as he charged at the girl, "You may poke someone's eye out!"
Blue lunged at the Mage and struck with his knuckle at her shoulder then rolled over the floor to strike her on the other before leaping back again.

Rooty recoils in pain but stands "tall" again, she hastily swings the wand round her side and grasps it with both hands, she says something under her breath and strikes Blue with the spell, the force is so strong she slides a few paces back.

Blue shrieked as the spell temporarily stopped his heart causing spots to appear before his eyes.
"GAH!" He yelled, "Damn you Mage!"
Blue leapt backwards with great skill and hunched himself up, a second later he stood with arms raised. From his arms stretched a great wall which he made part of.

Rooty steps back, shocked, she stands with one foot in front of the other, and holds her wand by the side of her head like a base ball bat. With the other hand she unclenches her fist to show a large purple orb. She then throws it into the air and smacks it with her wand, straight at blue. A trail of purple gas is left in the orb's absence.

Blue felt the orb tap against his knuckle and send a shudder up his arm with a fizzing sound. It seems the Mage needed a bit of restriction. He thought.
With a yell Blue commanded his G-Bot to roar with defending sound levels!
