((This is a private rp for me to play out the homecoming of Rain with Jazz and Jet. You can of course read it! Just no posting.))
Rain looked inside the purple tiki hut. There she was, only now she was an elder. His father did lie. He said Jazz took Jet and left them so that's why they left. Still, here she is. Even with her being an elder Rain could tell it was her.
Why had he lied? Was it because his father couldn't handle Jet's blindness? Or was it just because Jazz was at the bar having fun too much? Rain didn't know. All he knew was he lied to him.
Rain was never going back to Thom, but would Jazz really take him back? He didn't want to leave, Thom made him. Then there was all the other bad things that happened... he was trying to forget it... though that hadn't gotten him anywhere last time.
Rain made a small rainbow and watched it. They were about the only thing that made him happy these days. He watched it hoping it would help him know what to do.

Jazz was singing to herself. When she wasn't at the bar she liked to practice by herself. This way she knew what she sounded like. "Somewhere over the rainbow..." Jazz sang softly but then sighed. It reminded her of something she had lost.
Even if Thom hated her or whatever reason it was he left her, he shouldn't have taken away her other son. She wanted him in her life as well.
Jazz saw something colorful out the window. She then saw a pae that looked somewhat like Thom. It wasn't Thom, it was... "It can't be." She said as she ran out the door of her hut.

Rain looked up to see his mother standing there. She was taller then he remembered her. Then again he hadn't see her since he was a child and she wasn't an elder then.
"Hi...I'm sorry." He said as he began to walk away. He didn't think Jazz would want him there and it was best not to find out. If he had only walked away sooner.

Jazz looked at Rain for a moment. It was him. She fell to her knees and hugged him tightly. "Oh, Rain. Where have you been. Please don't go." Tears began to fall from her eyes. She had never let herself cry over Thom and Rain. Now it was all flowing out. She hugged him even more tighly and kissed his cheek.

After the first shock of his mother hugging him Rain looked in her tear filled eyes. "I...I... didn't want to leave...he said you left us...I belived him... he said you loved Jet more then me..." Rain began to cry as well. It was hard to say what Thom had said even harder to tell Jazz.
Rain hugged her back and smiled through the tears when she kissed his head. His dad was wrong he knew it!

"Oh, no I would never have left you. I love you and your brother the same. I just wasn't able to see you. I didn't know what happened. After he found out about Jet I never saw the two of you again. Jet blames himself now." This made her cry more as she hated that Jet thought this or that his father let him think that.
"I love you soooo much. I missed you sooo much. Way more then your father. Haven't missed him." That came out a bit angry. Then again it was angry.

Rain was very happy to hear this. He knew in his heart it was all lies. "I love you too." He hugged his mother more and then kissed her cheek as well.
Rain knew he wouldn't tell Jazz about his father's second ex and other children. It was better if she didn't know.
"How is Jet?" Rain asked now that the crying was beginning to stop.

Jazz looked at Rain with a smile. She sat down and nodded. "Oh, he is well. Has a beautiful mate named Wednesday. They have two girls. Both are also beautiful and adults. I think Jet may become a grandpa before too long. He's also still blind." Jazz explained to Rain.
"What about you? Do you have love or anyone? I don't. I know odd to say to your son. But in case you wondered. And no I don't want to know if Thom does." Jazz didn't. He went on his merry way and that was that.

Rain nodded. He really had missed alot. It was very saddening to him. He missed his neices growing up and even knowing his brother.
The next part stung. Jazz was still alone? And then there was his love life. "I...well it's not really much to talk about. I don't have anyone." Was all he wanted to say about it.

"Ah, you must be cursed like Zoe and me. I hate that I passed it on to my son and granddaughter." Jazz said it as a joke but she did mean it. Love was just not in her cards, though she longed for it.
"Well, Rain do you want to come in? I live alone now. Do you have anywhere to live? If not you can live with me. In Jet's old room." Jazz smiled and stood up as she asked him the questions.

Rain looked up at his mom. "Oh, well no. I left the Manor and now I don't have anywhere to go. Really?" Rain was still suprised. He didn't think his mom really would have anything to do with him.
Rain got up and looked inside the door. It had been so long since he was in their tiki hut. It was still a purple rock-n-roll palace on the inside. This gave him a small smile.

Jazz nodded and pushed Rain inside. "All right then you are staying here with me. Remember where your room was?" She walked to where it was that Jet and Rain stayed. And then later Just Jet.
"You'll have to fix it up. Jet doesn't see so, it's not for the sighted." Jazz said as she went into the room. It was a mess with brail books, sheet music in brail and left over Hula Bob food. "I didn't have the heart to clean once he moved out."

Rain took one look and shook his head. "It's okay. I'll clean it up. It's the least I can do." He said as he walked in. It was so surreal. This was where he used to be once. Then his brother had it and now his turn again. He let out a sigh... "I have to see Jet..."
Rain knew that he would have to. Though, it wouldn't be the same as with his mom. He knew Jet would be more angry and ask more questions. Still, he had to see Jet and he wanted to.

Jazz nodded. "Yeah, you are going to have to see him. We can go to his place tomorrow. This way you can sleep here. And I'll make us dinner and everything." Jazz then went to the kitched to get to work. Mostly reheating Hula Bob's stuff.

Rain nodded. That was the best. This way he could get himself ready to see Jet. He was worried already. Still, maybe he'd bring these brail books and sheets of music for him? Jet might like that.

Rain finished picking up the room so it was liveable again. He set the brail stuff on a shelf ready to take to Jet in the morning.
