I have a scratch built ork fleet. If I ever got my hands on the rules again, and found someone to play, I'd be interested in getting back into the game. But until then, my fleet will stay in the docks.

I just thought of an interesting cross over:
BFT vs star trek.
BFG ships:
Imperial navy Orc
Star Trek: Federation Misc
other:
Borc (orc and Borg)
With Dark Elfs permission I would like to get started on what I hope would be an itneresting rp.

I love Gothic, I play mostly with my family and we have Imperial, Chaos, and Ork fleets. I am currently working on an Ork Hulk that is freaking huge and is an amalgram of random Epic and Gothic Bitz.

I'm building a Hulk too, slicing up Tau guns works really well. What bits from Epic have you used so far? And how large is yours right now?

Mat yeah i thought about getting into BFG but no one at the local game store plays That's the problem when you play the older out of date games, and some of the newer little known games. The people at my gamestore only play D&D, Warhammer 40k, Heroclix, and Mechwarrior. I play none of those games, you get the idea. I never finished my hulk. I got started, and it was pretty damn big, but then I ran out of parts and I got ideas for other things to do at the time. I do have a lot of roks though... like smaller hulks.

Elemantl I'm building a Hulk too, slicing up Tau guns works really well. What bits from Epic have you used so far? And how large is yours right now? Well, I'm using Whirlwind, Land Raider, Stompa, and BattleWagon bits. As well just about any spare bits that are lying around. As for the size, its 7 inches front to back. Thanks for the Tau tip.

I've heard that besides using foam for a base, battleships and cruisers work well too.
The biggest problem I had making mine, was making sure that all the parts looked realistic scale/detail wise. Epic minis and BFG ships look great because the scale is just aboust the same when you compare the detail. However, bring in 40k minis and parts, and I didn't think they looked all that great on the Hulk. Just my opinion.

Mine is a frame made of sprues, a front half made of foam, and hundreds of bits glued or welded into it. So far 40K bits aren't working out too badly, because I find something that looks mechanical and then lop it up into its component parts. As I said, all those extra Tau guns from constructing Crisis Suits make great bits. My friends have even started labeling sections of it based on what it looks like; mess hall, blood bowl stadium, Weirdboy towers, etc. Of course that's easier considering it is 10" long thus far and I haven't been able to figure out how to mount it onto a base at all. But the only thing from Epic I have used is a series of Eldar Falcon fronts to make a sort of spine sticking out of the rocky part, and a super heavy turret acting as the S4 Lance battery.
At the time I thought that Lances were a big deal because it was the only Ork ship with any, when it turns out on the living rules website they came out with a way to augment Ork ships and get actual lances into the fleet. A welcome change. How many of us BFG players are there here? You’d think out of 800+ members at least twenty of us would play BFG.

Yeah, I'm suprised at the lack of Gothic Players in general. Its a good game and I think its one of those games where GW hit the nail on the head when they made it.
